"Thunderbolt!" Sam called, hoping the move would cancel out the flamethrower before it did too much damage. Spark was still in the middle of performing Bug Buzz so by the time she cancelled the move and started to do Thunderbolt she was only able to shoot the electricity a few feet infront of her before the Flamethrower reached her. The moves collided in the air and exploded with energy, hitting Spark with only slightly less damage and she would have taken from the full on flamethrower. "Use Acrobatics to dodge!" Sam called as Electivire advanced with Ice Punch a move that would be super effective if it hit.
Spark glowed blue for a moment as she dodged away from Electivire with immense speed. She just barely managed to pass by the move without getting hit. Sam worked their jaw, trying to figure out the best way to fight Feedback. Using Bug Buzz would take too long and most Electivires had Motor Drive as their Ability which meant both of Spark's electric type moves would just make Feedback faster. That just left Acrobatics, a very ineffective move that would put Spark in more danger by getting close to her opponent. "Spark fly as high as you can and use Bug Buzz," They directed, the height advantage would give her hopefully enough of an edge to get a move off and deal some damage to Feedback.

Percy clicked his tongue irritably. None of Feedbacks moved would reach high enough if the pokemon got too high and using Flamethrower would give the bug pokemon enough time to dodge. Time to use the field. The field was mostly covered in the rocks you would find in Chargestone Cave. "Alright Feedback, use Cross Chop on the ground." the pokemon smashed into the ground "Now use the rocks and toss them up." Feedback was a physical hitter and could easily toss some light stones fast and hard enough to hopefully get Spark closer to the ground. Feedback picked up a football sized rock and flung it towards the pokemon. He was hit by the Bug Buzz, though it was from far away.

(Hey sorry I haven't been on for a while I've have not been feeling that great and ill try to be on more often now tho.)
Claudia was sitting on the edge of the bench her hand timidly covering her mouth as she watched the battle feeling excited crying out in excitement and for encouragement with Peter and Akai as they watch Blaze. Q was smiling under her bone helmet ignoring the itchy notebook on top of her head. While everyone was distracted Q slipped the book into one of Claudia's meany Vest pockets for her to find after the battle.

Sam couldn't help but smirk at Percy's clever tactics, "Acrobatics to dodge!" They watched as Spark dodged the rock flung at her. This wasn't going to work, attacking from afar wasn't going to do enough damage to knock Feedback out. "Use Acrobatics again!" Sam called, either this would work or it wouldn't. They narrowed their eyes as Spark seemed to disappear with speed as she flew at the Electivire.

It's all good, we've all been pretty busy. It's just that time of the year.)
Percy knew he couldn't see the bug pokemon move at how fast it was going, but after seeing the move he had gotten a grasp on just when it would hit. He waited, waited and then he saw it. There was a slight glimpse of the bug pokemon coming at Feedback from above and he called "Use Ice Punch above you right now!" Feedback pulled back his arm and punched, his fist surrounded by the cold energy. Percy hoped that Spark would be going too fast to move, especially since he had waited until the last second possible to call the move.

Spark didn't have any time to dodge the Ice Punch and took it right in the abdomen, she was knocked back a good distance and just barely managed to regain her balance before she crashed into the ground. She had taken a lot of damage with that hit and one more would probably cause her to faint. Sam grimaced and quickly tried to think of a way to get Spark out of the situation safely. "Fly up and use Bug Buzz again!" The champion called, wanting to play it safe for a moment.

"Don't let up! Use flamethrower before it gets too high." Percy called, knowing that they'd have to hurry if he wanted to finish this battle and take out Spark. Feedback took in a deep breath and sent a pyre of flames towards Spark. He wasn't nearly as fast as the bug, but after that hit it must have slowed Spark down considerably. If they were lucky that is.

Spark wasn't able to rise up as quickly as she had been earlier, some frost having formed on her wings after the Ice Punch. For a moment she was engulfed in the flamethrower before plumeting to the ground, knocked out from the super-effective move.
Sam sighed and returned the Vikavolt to her Pokeball, looking down at it for a moment and thinking of the best way to train later so she isn't at such a disadvantage again. "You did great," They said softly to the ball before returning it to their belt and then thinking for a moment before grabbing another Pokeball. "That was a great round! Feedback really gave us a run for our money." They smiled towards Percy, a mischevious glint in their eyes. "Though I think you'll have some trouble with my friend Wrex here." They tossed the Pokeball up and out appeared their Haxorus. He towered over Feedback and let out a mighty roar.

Feedback glared back at the other Pokemon. Percy ran through his options. He'd definitely want to go with Ice Punch for the most part. Feedback hadn't taken a ton of damage, but he was slowing down a bit after fighting with the fast Spark and taking some damage from it's powerful moves. "Oh, Wrex looks powerful! But we won't let you win that easily." he stretched out his hands towards the dragon pokemon and called "Feedback, let's start strong. Use Ice Punch." Feedback nodded in reply and ran towards the pokemon, his fists encased in that all too familiar cold energy.

"Counter it with Night Slash," Sam directed with an outstretched hand. Wrex reared back his head, the edge of the blades on his head glowed with a purple energy. As Feedback punched at him Haxorus swung his head down into the punch, the Night Slash colliding with the Ice Punch.
"Earthquake!" Sam crossed their arms over their chest. Wrex roared loudly, so strong that he had barely taken damage from the Ice Punch. It was obvious that Wrex was one of Sam's strongest Pokemon. He stomped a leg on the ground and the floor of the entire arena started to rumbled as the shockwaves raced towards Electivire, who was very close to Wrex still from the punch.

Feedback didn't have time to jump or retaliate. He simply braced for the impact. Of course the move did a ton of damage and Feedback was left standing, though it looked like he was tired "Come on Feedback, don't let them drop you now. Use Flamethrower." Feedback stood up straight and shot some flames towards the dragon pokemon. This wasn't great, Percy thought, his last pokemon wouldn't be able to do much damage to this dragon pokemon and a few well placed Earthquakes would end any pokemon on his team.

(Wacom Intuos Pro Medium size!!! And Photoshop bc i updated my Adobe account to get all the apps bc it was only like $5 more! I like it so much more than my old Intuos tablet... the little blue shitty one. But uh my sister has that one now! It's a good first tablet lol)
(Sorry but i don't see Sam's third Pokemon coming out. Do you? xD)
(lol also just checked and Haxorus has a higher base Speed than Electivire by like 2 points xDDDDDD soooorrrrrryyyy)
"Dragon Pulse," Wrex opened his mouth and a multicolored beam that shaped itself into the form of a dragon shot out, snaking into the Flamethrower and exploding into it. The force of the explosion of moves skidded Wrex back a few feet and he shook himself. "Use Dragon Pulse again," Sam called. They were confident in their ability to win this fight but they were still taking it seriously and weren't taking any chances.

Cool ^^ ) Electivire is slow as hell for an electric type haha. And yeah, probably, though I think it should be close. I know Sam is the Champion, but I don't want to make it seem like Percys team is weak y'know.)
"Quick, use Thunderbolt." Feedback had knelt down for a moment from the shock wave but stood and sent a powerful beam of electricity towards Wrex. Again the moves clashed, but Feedback was getting weaker. The Dragon Pulse eventually over powered his move and Feedback had to jump to the side. It looked like they were getting to a point where Percy was just going to have to aim to damage the other pokemon as much as he could. As soon as Feedback was back on his feet Percy ordered "Use Cross Chop." Feedback figured that this was probably his second or third to last move and ran towards the dragon.

(lol no I know! it'll be a close battle of course!!! Percy is doing a great job lol)
Sam watched as Wrex took the Cross Chop to the chest, they frowned slightly for a moment then shrugged. "Use Draco Meteor." They ordered, feeling bad that this move was probably going to cause a lot of damage to Percy's arena, but they really liked watching the move.
Wrex growled as he winced from the Cross Chop but let our a louder roar, for a moment an orange orb glowed from his chest, then it started to form in his mouth and he shot it to the ceiling of the Gym, once it reached the highest point it could the orb exploded and released several spheres that plummeted towards Feedback.

I finally got around to finishing Let's Go! Just gotta finish up my Pokedex. It sucks cause you have to trade pokemon to evolve tho.)
"Feedback deflect them with Ice Punch." Feedback gathered his energy and punched the meteors with his fist. He managed to deflect a few, some slamming into the walls and some back at Wrex but there were eventually too many and they slammed into him. Feedback was smashed into the ground and when the dust cleared it was obvious he was knocked out. Percy called him back and smiled warmly at the Pokeball "Way to last, thanks for your effort."

(I still have to battle the elite four! And yeah it sucks, i'm just gonna trade those pokemon that I have from Go over. Like Machamp, Gengar, Golem. I don't have anyone around who has the switch and the game so eh)
"Your Feedback is a very strong Pokemon," Sam called to Percy proudly. "I have to do some special training with some of my team now for the future. But for now... bring out your last Pokemon!" The champion was excited to see who their next foe for Wrex was going to be.

I'm the same tbh. I need a Golem and a Machamp. I have a Machamp on Go, but it's a lucky pokemon so I'm not sure you can trade that over.)
"Thanks! Your Wrex there is a beast for sure." Percy may be a 'half glass full' type of guy, but he wasn't sure that his last Pokemon had what it took to take out Wrex. He could mentally feel his mood start to plummet at even the thought of it. Only when Cheri zapped him softly from her place on his shoulder did he nodded and pull out his last Pokeball. Battles were fun even if you lost "Only a little bit more! his Zebstrika he had named Zero appeared on the field. He snorted and pawed at the ground with his hoof, ready to start the battle. It didn't look fazed by the stronger pokemon who obviously had the advantage.

"He's been very fiesty since he was an egg," Sam agreed with a laugh, they had always thought the egg was going to hatch as it shook violently at all times it felt. Sam had been a young and inexperienced trainer when Wrex finally hatched and had had to wrestle the little Axew into behaving at every moment. But now the two had a strong bond and only wrestled for the nostagia of it. "Okay Wrex use Dragon Pulse!" Sam called after a moment, watching Wrex build up the power before shooting the multicolored beam of energy at the quick Electric type Pokemon. Sam knew that while their Haxorus had the power, the Zebstrika had the speed to quickly do damage to Wrex over time.

"Dodge." Percy ordered. Zero dodged to the side, his agility making it an easy task. The Dragon Pulse tore up some more of the ground, it was going to be quite the task to fix it after all this was over "Great, now use Thunderbolt." Zero stomped the ground and electricity sparked across its fur and gathered into a large bolt that shot towards the dragon pokemon "Keep moving, don't stop." Percy added. If they got hit Zero would get injured and slow down. Percy wanted to keep that from happening for as long as he could.

(GOOGLE!!! So it looks like we can trade faraway! Its kinda like private Battle group system for raiding where you pick a three Pokemon code and the other person puts in that code and you can trade!)
Wrex was too big and slow to ask to dodge so he took the hit, Sam trusting him to still be fine after the move. It did a good amount of damage which surprised both Sam and their Pokemon. "Earthquake!" On hearing the call, Wrex slammed his leg down and sent shockwaves through the ground of the arena.

One hit from that powerful Earthquake would definietly take out Zero. He was a glass canon of sorts. "Run towards Wrex and jump, then use Hidden Power." Zero dashed towards Wrex and jumped up at the last moment. Green orbs of energy surrounded him and flew towards the dragon pokemon. It looked like Zero wanted to use Wrex as a spring board so he wouldn't have to touch the ground while Earthquake was still in affect.
(I wasn't sure how to dodge and Earthquake I hope this is fine!)

(This is fine! It has a 100% accuracy but I find it still misses often so theres def ways to dodge)
"Night Slash!" It would be harder for Zero to dodge while in the air so Sam hoped that as the Zebstrika jumped at Wrex, the Haxorus would be able to hit him with Night Slash.
The axe like blades on Wrex's head glowed with a purple energy as he slashed his head at Zero, taking some of the Hidden Power Orbs to the face.

"Quickly, use thunderbolt again." Zero charged up only to have the Night Slash hit him. He skidded backwards across the floor and had to regain his footing before sending a bolt of thunder towards Wrex. Percy didn't want to use Overheat unless he absolutely had to. The Night Slash had hit Zero pretty squarely, though his Pokemon still seemed keen to finish the fight.

(Of course! Its really funny bc in like the old Clan rps i was in I remember hating rping the fight scenes bc the moves and stuff were annoying to type out. But like Pokemon.... I am having a lot of fun rping the battles. Maybe bc its easier to figure out how the moves work since theres so much data on them from both games and the shows and the manga. Bulbapedia is my best friend tbh)
"Use Earthquake again!" Sam called, it would force Zero to either jump in the air again and be an easy target for Dragon Pulse or Night Slash again or he would take the Earthquake and all the damage with it.
Wrex nodded and roared at Zero before lifting up his leg and stomping it on the ground, causing tremors to shake the arena.

Sammmeee! I think fighting is the best part in the anime for sure. I've always wanted to animate a fight myself.)
Percy gritted his teeth and figured that he'd have to use Overheat. There were few options left "Quickly Zero, use Overheat." a wave of heat came from Zero and washed over the field. Flames licked at the ground and sped towards Wrex. It didn't do much to protect from the Earthquake, but Percy guessed that Zero should be able to last at least one hit. As he had guessed, Zero managed to tough it out, but he looked considerably weakened.

(I really wanna get that Pokken Tournament game just to play those battles tbh bc I love watching the animated battles and all the cool things you can do with the moves and stuff and UGH i could just fo on and on about that all day lol)
Sam had to cross their arms over their face as the blast of head from the flames on the field hit them. They squinted their eyes against the heat and light from the flames to see if Wrex was okay. It wasn't a super effective move but it was a very powerful move on its own.
Wrex looked very tired and weakened from the battle. Sam had to end the battle quickly otherwise they might actually have to pull their third Pokemon out.
"Wrex you okay Buddy?" Sam called before seeing the dragon Pokemon nod determindly. "Okay use Draco Meteor one last time!" They watched as the orange orb formed near his chest then in his mouth and he shot it towards the ceiling where it split and several orange balls of energy slammed towards the arena.

Whenever I see an animated battle I get the urge to learn animation. It sucks that it's so hard T-T )
This was it. Percy could feel that this was the last move. They had nothing to lose "Zero use Overheat once more." Zero nodded and gathered it's remaining energy to send another wave of heat towards the dragon. He dodged maybe two meteors before he was blindsided by one. The meteors caused the dust and rocks from the earlier moves to cloud into the air. Percy had to his face to the side to avoid getting dust in his eyes.
The dust cleared to show that Zero was knocked out. He turned his attention to the other side of the field to see how Wrex had fared against the attack against him. Percy had lost but he wanted to see how well Zero had managed against the beast. Overheat wouldn't do as much damage as before but it should have still done some.

(Right???? I have like no patience to animate, like I tried a cat running animation a long time ago and i mean it looked okay for a first time animation but it took so long to make for like the 3 second animation....)
Sam was biting their lip in trepidation while they waited for the dust to clear. When it did, Wrex was left standing..... barely. The Haxorus looked to be on the verge of collapsing, only staying standing by the sheer force of will. When he saw that his opponent was knocked out he let out a weak roar of triumph before Sam took pity on him and recalled him back to his Pokeball. "Oh man, you were amazing buddy," They said to the stubborn Pokemon before going across the field to shake Percy's hand and congratulate him on a fantastic battle. "I feel so refreshed and awake now!" They grinned as they walked over.

Yeah, I made an animation and put it on Youtube a while back thinking that I'd do more... I haven't done a single one since lol)
"That was a good battle. Definitely on a different level than my gym battles." Percy replied, returning Zero to his Pokeball and shaking Sams hand. He offered the other a smile and placed the Pokeball in his hand back into his jacket. He had completely forgotten why Sam had come here in the first place after that battle.
