"Thanks, your advice really helped out," She smiled as she returned Turtwig to his Pokeball. "Mind if we head to the Pokemon Center before Blaze's battle? I want Turtwig and Holiday to get healed so we can all cheer him on." She still had the gym badge clutched in her hand, not really sure what to do with it since putting it in the gym badge case wouldn't be really be satisfying to look at a mostly empty case.

Akai nodded "That's a good idea, we can all make a quick Pokemon Center run." he gestured for his Pokemon to follow him out the door and the small group of pokemon and trainers made their way outside. Chasin was already walking towards the center to heal up his pokemon for the next battle. He was thinking of new strategies as he went so he could make the next battle as interesting as the last.

Claudia was so excited but having set down her notebook for the last half of the battle she had a lot of notes to make up after Peters win. "Peter Good job you did had an amazing battle and showed a real bond with your pokemon and they both really do trust you." She said with a smile to her friend before completely diving into her book

(Okay quick pause. I don't want everyone waiting around on Flame and stalling the rp but I also don't want to deprive Flame of two gym battles since that's pretty much the point of the rp so. Flamestar96 and 🎃𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛🦇 I was thinking we should Schedule a time both of you know you'll be online and able to rp and we can magically poof back to the battle to rp it and have our characters move on so it doesn't break the flow. Does that sound good?) |

I'm just letting you know. We have given you updates on what's going on and the front page has been updated. I'm sorry you have no muse I know how that feels like. The characters are eating dinner, Chili that Skip made, and Cecil just caught a Mimikyu like half an hour before that. But the rules are clear, I understand being busy and stuff but almost two months without a response is a long time.)

"Thank you Claudia," Peter smiled at the other girl before realizing she had gone back to reading after saying that. She chuckled a little before entering the Pokemon Center and heading towards the counter to pass her Pokemon off the Nurse Joy. "Do you think Blaze will be able to win too?" She asked Akai, the other boy had seemed more confident this morning and it sounded like him and his Treeko had figured something out, she hoped.

While they were here he figured that he would get a drink "You want anything from the cafe?" he asked, pulling out his wallet and looking over to Peter before he walked over to the small table towards the left of the Pokemon center.

"I prefer to pay attention to Pokemon than myself, besides. My parents had an Eevee ranch, and when I was younger, I used to stay up all night tending to the eggs," She recounted fondly. |

He scooped himself another bowl and went and sat back down. "That's really cool that you lived on an Eevee ranch! What kinds of foods do they like best?" He asked, wanting to know for his own benefit as a prospective Pokemon Breeder.

"Yeah I noticed that too," Peter agreed with Akai. She glanced up at him as he asked her if she wanted anything. "Can I get a Hot Cocoa?" She called after him. She pulled out the Gym Badge she had just earned and looked it over again, this time not with a negative expression. She felt better after Chasin had talked to her and that she didn't have to commit to doing the other gyms, she was glad she had done this gym battle and was proud to have earned a gym badge as well.

Skip nodded thoughtfully as he listened to her talk. "That makes sense, Eevee's normally live in forests... not as dense as this one but wooded areas with a lot of meadows and spots that berries like to grow.... right Cecil?" He asked the other, not fully sure that lum and leppa berries grew in forests. He was sure about the Eevee habitat though, that he had studied.

Akai nodded and walked over to the cafe. He ordered a coffee for himself and a hot chocolate for Peter. It didn't take long for them to get his order out and he walked back over to Peter when they had both been completed "Here you go." he said, handing off the hot chocolate and taking a sip of his own drink.

I apologize for my small disappearance, I had a huge event happen this week that I put all amount of my body and soul into, so I was only online to check on a few things as well as resolve an issue involving another RP. Then as the event came up yesterday morning, I received a text from my mom stating my brother broke his collarbone....again. So the amount of stress I've had this week is enough to might have turned my hair gray even though I'm only 21. Anyways, I'm up and ready to RP and again I apologize for the MIA.)
The battle was nothing short of what Blaze had thought it was going to be, from excitement to nerve-wrecking. He followed the action closely picking up a few tips here and there, but decided to remain quiet about them until he could put them to use against Chasin. As they all got up to leave back for the Pokemon Center, he wondered how much strength, endurance, and ability would have to go into winning this fight. Though, he was happy that Treecko was on his side now, that didn't mean they were guaranteed a victory. He followed the group back silent most of the time as he didn't want to say too much as many others had already congratulated Peter, but he smiled in her direction.

(Thanks! I tried really hard to nail his expression and it was really hard to paint him as he has a lot of intricate details in his face and back. Really proud of him!!)
"Thank you!" Peter graciously took the Hot Chocolate and took a sip, getting whipped cream on her upper lip. She hummed contentedly as she felt the drink warm her belly. "So Blaze are you ready for your rematch?" She asked him, curious as to why he was being so quiet. It was really out of character of him.
"That's awesome!" Skip exclaimed, "Is that here in Shuri? Or in Kalos?" He asked, sure she had said she was from the Kalos region earlier. There was a lot to remember about his companions.

Claudia who had mindlessly followed them to the center while still writing in her notebook had just finished writing down every detail of the match between Peter and Chasin and closed the book looking up at the goop looking proud of herself a moment. She looked at the group trying to catch up on the conversation sighing in relief as she realized the conversation was just switched. Claude put her notebook away looking over too Blaze

"Yeah. I'm definitely read for this battle" Blaze said with a soft smile. Although he was quiet, he felt like mental preparation was going to also be another factor in this battle. He didn't buy anything to drink as he thought it might upset his stomach and send his nerves to an all-time high.

"Great! I'm sure you can beat him this time!" Peter nodded confidently, if she could beat him then Blaze for sure could. "We'll be cheering you on of course!" She grinned. A few moments later there was the chime of the Center that meant her Pokemon were all healed. She downed the rest of her hot chocolate(not that there was much left) and got up to go retrieve her team.

Akai noticed that Chasin had already walked out of the center and back to the gym so when Peter was ready he glanced back to the group and asked "Great! You guys want to head back? I bet Chasin is raring to go for another battle." Akai was almost tempted to ask the gym leader to a rematch with a strong team just to see how much he had grown from that last time he beat the gym leader. But this was not his day, so maybe at a later date.
"If you don't mind me asking, why don't you have an Eevee on your team?" Cecil asked. If they bred so many he would have guessed they would have gotten their hands one some rare ones. Of course it wasn't just about how rare something was, but after growing up around so many he would have thought she'd have one on her team.
