The Luxury Ball is one of my favorites I can't help myself haha)
Cecil picked up the egg and held out the Luxury Ball with his free hand "Come on out Mimikyu." he would have to think of a nickname for the pokemon later. Maybe when it wasn't so late. In a flash of red the Mimikyu appeared and creaked in reply. "Think you can help us out-" his sentence cut off when Klover wandered deeper into the forest "Hey Klover, we really should head back before it gets darker I would hate for anyone to get lost."
As he had thought the Pikipek was quick. Echoed voice didn't do much damage now, but if that damage started to stack up it would get bad. He needed to stop that move. "Aron, use that boulder and stop that attack with metal claw." the Aron ran towards a tall rock and plodded up it's side. Once on the top it waited until the Pikipek was in attacking range and lashed out. Chasin had trained Aron to be more mobile than other rock types to mix up the gym battles a bit.

Klover looked back and said," You have a fair point but the whole reason I came out here is that way and if I don't go I might not get another chance." Angel then pulled on Klovers arm as a way to get him to go faster. Klover then sighed and said," look how about if I am not back in like fifteen minutes you can leave without me."

Quinn was just in the middle of saying 'Yes of course' and 'Helios come help again please' when the brief chaos ensued. Cecil's egg had been stolen and he had made a mad dash after it and Skip had rushed right into the dark forest after them. Quinn's usually quick acting brain seemed to stall, she was basically stopped midstride while she processed the event. After a moment she straightened up looked at Mio in her arms, who looked up at her with a mostly blank expression and then to Helios who was standing on the edge of the clearing close to where their party members had disappeared. HIs gaze intensely fixed on the darkness where the crackling fire's light didn't reach. "I...Think we better stay in camp. I don't want to get lost..." Orion had jumped up at commotion but had not really moved other than that. Calliope hadn't seemed fazed and had taken the safety of Skip's chili upon herself and was stirring it so it didn't burn. Quinn's shoulders relaxed just a little, "They'll be back soon I'm sure!" she said in a slightly rattled tone. "If they don't come back in a few minutes we can go look for them."

Sorry for the poof, I passed out. One group is walking back to their camp and the other is watching a gym battle between Chasin and Peter. I also have some open characters if you want to start another story line.)
"It's the middle of the night, we won't be leaving any time soon. We're camping there remember..." Cecil looked down to Mimikyu "If you're not back we can come and get you. Mimikyu would you mind tagging along and helping Klover find his way back?" Mimikyu creaked and nodded. Cecil smile "Thank you." he looked to Klover "Is that alright with you? Mimikyu can point us in the right direction and lead you back if you get lost."

Klover smiled and said," that is fine with me, and to make it easier." Klover then called out his other partner Rose the roselia. Klover then said," if you need to find us follow her sweet scent. With that Rose, Angel, and Klover then started off to find their potential new team mate.

(Also and Announcement. After a private conversation between the two of us, Blood will no long be a part of the rp. The water type Gym is open for anyone to take. Cascade or Sparkly? You don't really have a lot of characters so you are encouraged, Sparkly i don't think you have a gym leader yet so you are welcome to take the water gym! Spark and I have like .... 7 characters each lol and Rain has quite a few as well)

The ball shook three times and stopped. Cecil smiled and picked up the pokeball "I got a Mimikyu." he said, mostly to himself. He glanced over to the egg and put the Luxury Ball onto his belt before walking over and picking up the egg gently. He checked it over before turning back to Skip and saying "Glad things worked out." at Skips other comment he said "Oh yeah, come on out Mimikyu. Think you can help us get back?" in a flash of red Mimikyu appeared and creaked a reply, looked like it would help out!

"Congrats on your catch!" Skip grinned at Cecil, looking around with a frown. "Mimikyu knows the way right?" He asked hopefully. He glanced at his own Pokemon. "Flutter do you know the way back? you can probably smell the chili right?" He prodded, figuring his chili hungry Woobat would easily be able to find her way back, only problem would be them keeping up with her.
Holiday cried out as she was hit with the metal claw, wing beats faltering for a moment before she shook the blow off, it was the first hit of the battle so she couldn't fall now! "Use Echoed Voice again!" Peter called, hoping the loud sound with disorient the Aron long enough for Holiday to get in close and use her new move.
The Pikipek nodded and flew back towards the Aron, but learned her lesson this time and stayed far enough out of his reach so he couldn't swipe with Metal Claw again. She used Echoed Voice as she flew over the other Pokemon.

"Thanks! And I think he should..." he looked at Mimikyu carefully "Speaking of him, I was thinking that I'd name him Mika. Only if that's alright with you of course." he quickly backtracked when Mimikyu looked back at him. It was hard to read the pokemons expression. Mimikyu looked as if he was considering it before slowly nodding. Cecil grinned "Thank you, Mika." Mika turned and started to move through the forest. Cecil jumped to follow so he would not be left behind.
"Don't let that attack hit you, use rock tomb once more." Aron nodded and stomped on the ground. Boulder flung themselves at Holiday. Peter still had one more pokemon and Chasin knew he needed to take out her Pikipek before echoed voice got any stronger. He also wanted to minimize and damage dealt to Aron since she still had once more fight to finish. Peter was smart to keep her pokemon away from Aron, but Chasin had planned for that and taught the pokemon rock tomb.

"Mika's a great name!" Skip agreed as he followed the Mimikyu back towards the camp. He couldn't help but feel slightly unsettled watching the ghost Pokemon almost... skitter? across the forest floor, almost a lurching movement. It was nice to know the Pokemon was on his side.
"Use Rock Smash to get through the Rock Tomb!" Peter called suddenly, figuring using the move now would be the best. Holiday's beak turned an orange-red as she sped right into the rocks hurtling towards her and broke through the attack. "Great! Now use it on Aron!" Peter called, knowing the move would be super effect since Aron was both Rock and Steel type.

It didn't take long for them to see the camp site. The light of a fire traveled far in the dark woods "Oh look! There it is." Cecil said, pointing towards the ever growing light "Good job Mika." Mika only creaked in reply and continued to walk. Cecil tilted his head, looking a bit worried. It was seriously hard to read this pokemon.
Good, she had gotten the other Pokemon close. The use and timing of Rock Smash had been perfect, Chasin was impressed. "Aron, use headbutt to counter that." Aron would take some damage, but she would also dish out a fair amount. Aron pushed off with it's small legs and used her steel clad head to bash against the small bird pokemon. The ground under her nearly cracked against the power she had used to get up.

Skip hoped Mika didn't scare Quinn by entering the camp while they were lagging behind. He also remembered that he had left the chili unattended and quickened his pace to make sure it didn't burn. "Well that was a fun nighttime adventure," He joked with Cecil as they got closer. "Let's hope it doesn't happen again anytime soon.... I'm not too fond of the dark." He smiled sheepishly.
Peter winced as the two Pokemon collided and got sent in two different directions. Chasin was making it really hard for Holiday to land a single hit and she wasn't quite sure to do about it. "You okay Holiday?" She called as her Pokemon recovered from teh headbutt. Holiday shook herself before tweeting to show she was okay. "Okay use growl!" Lessening the damage teh Aron could do to Holiday might help get them through this.

"I agree. Walking around the forest in the dark is certainly not the safest thing." Cecil agreed. He held the pokeegg a little closer to him, now feeling the darkness a bit more than before. Mika creaked waving its dark claws as if saying they'd be fine. Mika seemed to think they'd be fine and that made Cecil a bit better.
Aron was looking a bit rough, Chasin wanted to end this soon "Use multiple Rock Tombs one after the other." Aron flung one wave then added another. Aron wasn't going as fast as before. Chasin knew that Peter still had another pokemon after this and was thinking of a way to take out Turtwig as well as Holiday who was turning out to be harder to defeat than he had originally planned the pokemon to be.

Helios retired back to the campfire, though he kept a close eye on the space where the rest of the group had disappeared. Quinn has sat down next to him, but was mostly watching Mio. He had found a stray stick and stone and was making both levitate. Occasionally Quinn had to remind Calliope that she couldn’t put any random berries into the chili.
As the mimikyu entered into camp Helios leapt to his feet and took a defensive position, his fires flaring to life. Almost as quickly this reaction had come up it faded and Helios relaxed, his fires died slightly to small blazes. “Uh...hi?” Quinn said nervously, even though her Pokémon didn’t seem too worried she wasn’t too sure.

Cecil picked up his pace and said "Ah, wait up. I apologize for startling you." he gave Quinn the basic run down of what had happened in the forest "And so, Mika here will be joining us on our journey. He's really interested in keeping the egg safe." Cecil shrugged, unsure why the pokemon had taken such an interest. The egg seemed happy with the whole situation, moving occasionally. And Cecil was happy to have another friend. He was sure Mikas knowledge of forests would help with his botany.

(I feel like I just took a nap, but I was watching Markiplier's stream instead lol. I think it was the mimosa's I had this morning lol)
"Dodge them Holiday!" Peter called, she was worried with how many rocks that would be for her Pokemon to dodge, but Holiday was fast she had to trust her to dodge them.
Holiday was visibly tired, she was able to dodge the first two waves of Rock tombs but the third caught her by surprise and she was knocked out of the air by the rocks. When the dust settled the Pikipek was knocked out on the ground.
"Holiday!" Peter called, this time remembering to stay in the trainer box and not running to her Pokemon.
Skip made his way back to the chili pot when they reached camp. "Oh! Thank you Calliope! I was worried it was going to burn!" He reached into his bag and took out a PokeBean that fairy type Pokemon tended to like a lot. "Thank you so much for helping me! This is for you!" he held it out to the Clefairy.

"Good job Aron, let's keep this up." Chasin called out to his pokemon. Aron was looking a bit worse for wear, but she'd be able to put up at least a challenge for the trainers next pokemon. The ref called Holiday unable to battle. This was the finale, one more fight to see if she would win her badge. Akai had been watching quietly up to this point but called encouragingly "Keep it up Peter."

Akai's call of encouragement snaped Claudia out of her own spell of silence. She had been so intuned to writing what she saw down to the last detail that she had forgotten that she was here to support Peter "Come on Peter you can do this!" She called setting her notes down the cheer on Peter. Q looked a bit shocked when Claude set her notebook down the ground pokemon had rarely ever seen Claude watch a real trainer battle without her nose pressed into it like it was yesterday for Blaze's battle.

Quinn stood up and waved slightly, “Oh, hi!” She repeated, “its okay I wasn’t surprised too badly.” She tilted her head a little and looked at Mika, “ah so you just wanted to help!” She smiled, “Running off with other people’s stuff isn’t usually the way you do it but I guess we got that sorted out!”
With much glee and arm-waving Calliope accepted the pokebean, making excited sounds. She sat down near the pot and ate the bean happily, appreciating the reward.

Mika creaked in response and reached up to take the egg from Cecil. He walked it over to the fire and placed it back on the blanket it had been resting on before this whole thing went down. Cecil just smiled and walked over to where the food was being made "It smells delicious, I'm excited to try it." now that they had a bit more time Cecil called out Soleil. The water pokemon stretched and greeted the group.

(You've awakened my obsession, I shall not rest easy till I am caught up and even then I won't rest. I hope you are happy :/ xD)
(I will say, I wish they would do more with Rowlet. I was really excited with the episode Ash caught him and was hoping they would have a stronger bond and that he wouldn't just be the butt of the jokes for being alseep all the time :/ It's such a waste of a great Pokemon. I do think it's adorable that he's claimed Ash's backpack tho.)
Peter returned Holiday back to her Pokeball and looked down at it sadly for a moment. "You fought really well Holiday," She said softly, feeling like she had failed her Pikipek after they trained so hard the night before. "Take a nice rest." She put the ball away and took out her other one. She took a deep breath, feeling a little better that she could hear her friends cheering her on. "Okay Turtwig, let's give it all we've got!" She shouted with determination as she threw her Pokeball.
Turtwig appeared on the field, looking ready to fight some more. Peter furrowed her brow and looked at the Aron, it looked tired she hoped her and Turtwig could knock it out before Turtwig got too tired.
"This opponent is a hard hitter Turtwig," Peter warned her partner. "He's faster than you so let's start with Withdraw and lessen the damage he can do to you!" Her Pokemon nodded and withdrew into his shell, raising his defense.
Skip smiled, glad that Calliope was happy with the treat, he took the next couple minutes to finish putting the rest of the Spelon berries in the chili. He put the lid on it to let it cook for a little while, no longer needing to stir it as it cooked, and went to finish making the rest of the dinner.
A short while later Skip called to the others, "Dinner's ready!" The chili smelled amazing and was paired with some bread rolls (that were cooked up with normal Pokemon food logic) and toppings to put on the chili as well. He had the food set up on a tree stump near the fire so they could grab it and find a seat. He had also placed out bowls of Pokemon food for all the Pokemon to share.

I agree! From the opening I think they're going to focus more on Rowlet this new season. I have a nasty feeling they'll never evolve him though :\ )
If she was going to defend they'd start strong with an attack "Aron use headbutt." his Aron shook itself as if trying to shake away the exhaustion it was starting to feel and dashed forwards. She slammed her head into the Turtwigs shell, sending the pokemon skidding across the field. There were rocks behind it and if it didn't react fast enough it might end up smashing into some rocks. Aron may be low on health but it's attack was still strong. In the stands, Akai thought that raising her Turtwigs defense was the right move. Turtwig had the upper hand here. Aron was tired and low on health. Turtwig just had to out last the rock pokemon to win this.
"Thank you for the food Skip." Cecil said, walking over and taking a bowl for himself. His pokemon echoed his thank you and all gathered around the bowls of food Skip had set out for the pokemon. Vulpix looked excited and dug it without any hesitation. It seemed that she was less jumpy around the group and had gotten used to them. Soleil also started to eat but with less gusto and more grace, rolling his eyes at the smaller pokemons antics. Mika was slow to join the group, more focused on the egg.

(I was really hoping that the dartrix from the recent promo pics before they released that new opening was Ash's rowlet evolved but nooooooo it's Hau's.... which is great bc I love Hau but it kinda makes it seem less likely that he'll evolve if they already have a regular Dartrix on the show :/ unless they make Hau not a regular and more like Gladion which would kinda suck. But i hope you're right and they do focus more on Rowlet this upcoming season)
"Turtwig use Razor Leaf!" Peter called and her Pokemon popped out of his shell and dug his feet into the ground to stop his skidding, he stopped a hairwidth away from a rock and faced the Aron before letting loose an array of leaves that went flying towards the Aron.
"No problem," Skip shrugged as he dug into his own bowl of food humming happily with the taste. It wasn't too spicy and had just enough kick to make it taste good but not too much that it was too bitter. His pokemon joined the other's and began eating food as well. Flutter was scarfing down food almost as fast as Willow. Clove ate slower and Basil seemed to be going between the different food bowls to find the best bits for himself.

I'm only a bit sick of Ash rarely evolving his pokemon. I know his whole thing is 'winning with weak pokemon', but still. I won't even start with how mad I was when he lost in the last pokemon league. I refused to watch the final episodes because of that haha. Greninja should have beat the Charizard easily. I just want Ash to win and be happy.) I finally finished up a bunch of school work so I'm gonna get some sleep. I have classes all day tomorrow.)
"Tear those leaves up with Metal Claw." Chasin ordered. Aron slashed at the leaves, a few made it though her defense and caused some damage to the rock pokemon "Quickly, follow that with rock tomb." Chasin knew he needed to break up the Turtwigs line of sight. There were already many boulders laying around after the earlier fight but not enough. Aron flung some boulders towards Turtwig. Some went straight for the grass pokemon while others lodged themselves in the ground around Turtwig. The attack was strong but left Aron open to another attack.

Quinn and her Pokémon joined the others for dinner, all offering up many thank yous. Quinn sat down next her friends and began eating her own food. “Mmm!! This is amazing Skip!” She ate with greater enthusiasm, the flavor was amazing! She was sure she had never tasted anything so good. After a little bit of eating she asked: “Have you been cooking a long time?”
