(lol Spark I totally had to go back and check my messages to remember what the egg was gonna be xD)
Peter threw out her Pokeball, remembering what her Pokedex had told her the day before about Chasin's Pokemon and hoping she could win with her strategy. "Come on Turtwig!" She called as her partner Pokemon popped out of his Pokeball. He looked much more confident and stronger than he had with his training session with Akai and Banette the day before. She took a deep breath, "Here goes nothing." She mumbled to herself before calling out her first command. "Use Withdraw!" She wanted to give Turtwig a chance to last in the battle since he wasn't the fastest Pokemon. Her Pokemon pulled back into his shell and raised his defense.
"I hope we get to see it hatch!" Skip told him as he started to prepare the chili ingredients for dinner. "I've always wanted to see an egg hatch!" His Pokemon were still wandering the clearing, Clove keeping an eye to make sure they didn't go to far.

Haha I’m the same. I keep forgetting what moves I gave Chasins Pokemon.)
Raising its defense was a good move considering that his Pokémon were physical hitters for the most part. Deciding to keep his distance he called out to Omanyte “Use smackdown!” the Omanyte shot a rock towards the withdrawn Turtwig. If Chasin let Turtwig get too close his slow moving rock types would be at a disadvantage, especially against a grass type.
Cecil agreed, resting his hand on the smooth shell. You could tell it was alive, there were small movements. He was excited to see what was going to come from the egg. The warmth of the fire was nice and he couldn’t wait to get some food.

(lol yeah and I just checked and Turtwig's base speed is slower than both of Chasin's Pokemon so they do have the speed advantage, even if just slightly lol)
The rock hit Turtwig's shell, injuring the Pokemon but not by a lot as it wasn't very effective. "Use tackle!" Peter called, wanting Turtwig to get closer to the Omanyte.
Turtwig popped out of his shell and ran towards the water/rock Pokemon with his head down, ready to tackle into it.

Won't be online until later like four hours or so. I have my brother's football game I am going to. Besides there wouldn't really be too much to contribute to the RP since Blaze is just watching at the moment. I might post once about something he sees, but again won't be until later.)

”Omanyte use water gun at the ground.” the water rock Pokémon aimed a water gun at the ground in front of Turtwig. The dry dirt ground soaked up the water fast and it was turned into more of a mud. A mud with large rocks around it. One wrong step and a Pokémon could slip and end up smacking into a rock.

(its okay Sparkly, we all have busy lives. I'm not gonnna penalize people for having school and stuff. Just make sure you catch yourself up bc I'm not gonna do it every time)
"Careful Turtwig!" Peter called as the ground infront of her Pokemon became slick. He tried to keep running directly at the Omanyte but a rock in the mud tripped him and he slipped to the side and hit one of the bigger rocks. He shook himself and stood up and faced the other Pokemon. "Use Absorb!" She called. Turtwig focused for a moment and he and Omanyte both glowed green as the grass type absorbed some of the Omanyte's health.

Omanyte winced as his strength was drained. Chasin knew his Pokémon had the disadvantage here and ordered “Omanyte use withdraw.” the water rock Pokémon retreated into its shell and raised its defense. It wouldn’t help against that Turtwigs absorb but he could minimize the damage for physical attacks. He wanted to stick to his long range attacking for as long as he could.

Claudia was watching from the stands clutching her notebook quickly writing down every detail of the battle she was witnessing having a hard time focusing on the battle its self-wanting so badly for Peter to win. Claudia smiled as she watched Peter she looked much more confident than her battle with Akai the other day.

(Its okay! I understand Blood no worries, i jsut can't summarize everything everytime so i'm just gonna ask everyone to keep up on their own if they can. Obviously if its like more than 2 pages of activity between ur last post i'll summarize but other than that its your responsiblity)
Skip frowned a little and looked up towards Cecil. "Hey do you know if Spelon Berries grow around here? I'm fresh out and those are the perfect ones for the chili, their spiciness is just perfect."

He set the egg on a small blanket he had pulled from his bag and set near the fire "Come on Willow, help me sniff them out. The forest is full of berries so it shouldn't be hard to find some." Willow barked in agreement and jumped to perch on his shoulder.
You thinking he should meet Mimikyu?)

(I was more thinking maybe Mimikyu could "steal" the Egg for a little because it wants to help the egg hatch xD and then befriends Cecil? Up to you tho as it will be your Pokemon. I think a similar relationship between the pokemon that hatches and Mimikyu that Hawlutcha and Noibat/Noivern had in the XY show would be cute)
"Great! Thank you!" Skip called after Cecil before turned to Quinn. "Hey do you think Helios can help me get this to boil? I need it to get just a bit hotter." He asked her and her Quilava.
Peter frowned, as long as Omanyte was in the shell she couldn't use Turtwig's new move effectively and she wanted to make sure his hit landed with as much force as possible so she needed him to be close to the other Pokemon. "Turtwig use tackle!" She called, she may not to a lot of damage but Omanyte might get thrown around and knocked off balance enough for her to get a chance to use her new move.
Turtwig used the sturdiness of the rock he had run into to spring off of and tackle into the Omanyte's shell, hopefully at least tipping it sideways.

Good point, to make things easy I'll just rp it for now!)
Cecil had found the berries he was looking for and was walking back to their small camp. Willow was holding a few on their stems from her mouth and Cecil had a couple in his own hands. There was the sound of a snapping branch behind him and Cecil turned so fast Willow almost fell off his shoulder. There was nothing there... Cecil shook his head an mentally chided himself. The figure from before must still be on his mind. Entering the clearing again he walked over to Skip and handed him the berries "Here you go, I hope they are good enough." the berries weren't exactly in season. He glanced over his shoulder and saw a pokemon standing beside the egg. Nearly jumping out of his skin he yelped "Wh-what are you doing?"
The Pokemon looked like a Pikachu, but as he got closer he noticed that it wasn't a Pikachu and was actually a Mimikyu. The Mimikyu looked up from the egg and let out a creepy sounding cry. A claw slipped out from it's disguise and wrapped around the egg. Cecil realized what was happening a split second too late as the Mimikyu picked up the egg and made a mad dash for the forest. Cecil ran after it, following it into the dark woods.
Omanyte was knocked on it's side. It had taken some more damage from the attack. Now that it was close Chasin ordered "Omanyte latch on, use bite." the pokemon came out of it's shell and lunged for Turtwig. Now that he didn't have a choice but to fight close Chasin was hoping that the attack would land and maybe force Turtwig back.

"These are perfect!" Skip took the spicy berries and added them to the pot. He was about to thank Cecil for the hard work when the other yelped loudly. He looked over at the egg and froze. "Woah that's a-" He started to say in awe before the Mimikyu grabbed the egg and ran. "Hey!" he stood up and whistled to his Pokemon. "Flutter! Follow that Pokemon!" He ordered, know his Woobat would have the best tracking senses of his team as they followed after Cecil and the Mimikyu into the forest. Forgetting about the warnings not to get lost in the woods.
"Now Turtwig!" Peter ordered a split second after Chasin finished his order. "Use Razor leaf!" With the practice the grass type had the night before he was quickly able to whip the twig on the top of it's head to send razor sharp leaves flying directly into the face of the lunging Omanyte.

Cecil almost tripped over four separate branches as he chased after the Mimikyu. It wasn't so fast he couldn't keep up, but it knew the forest better than he did. When he finally caught up he found the Mimikyu gently setting the egg down on a small nest made of grass. That was... unexpected. "Are you trying to hatch it?" he asked walking closer and keeping his pace slow. He would have been incredibly winded if not for the fact he was focused more on the pokemon in front of him. Mimikyu turned to him and it's fake head tilted to the side. Cecil would by lying if he didn't think it was slightly unsettling.
It nodded and tapped the egg gently with it's dark claws. Cecil let out a sigh of relief and plopped down "Oh thank god. I thought you were going to eat it or something." the Mimikyu look scandalized and shook itself as if to say it would never consider that. "I appreciate it, but I'm going to need it back. We're not going to be in the forest for long..." the Mimikyu looked sad. Jeez it had gotten attached pretty quickly...
The Omanyte managed to land the attack but was blown away by the leaves. It crashed into the ground and was knocked out "Omanyte is unable to battle." the referee stated. Chasin nodded and smiled to Peter "That was great timing. You and Turtwig work well together." he returned Omanyte to it's pokeball, thanking him for his work. Chasin then pulled out a greatball. "This is my next pokemon." in a flash of red appeared an Aron.

Klover and his partner Angel walked up to the group and said," wow that Mimikyu seems to really love that egg of yours." He then smiled and said," hey here is an idea why don't you take it with you, that way it could stay with the egg?"

"Whoooo!" Flutter called as she caught up to Cecil and the Ghost Pokemon. A few moments later Skip appeared, out of breath and panting. He glanced between the other trainer and the wild Pokemon. "Oh good, you aren't fighting." He gasped as he doubled over with his hands on his knees.
Turtwig was injured from the bite but was still standing when the Omanyte fell. When it was annouced she had beaten his first Pokemon Peter was shocked that she and Turtwig had actually done it. "Th-thanks!" She called back to Chasin when he complimented them. "We did a lot of training last night to prepare for this!" She was surprised at how tired she felt already and she was only like halfway through the battle. Turtwig had to be exhausted. "Turtwig return!" She called, wanting to give her partner a break as she recalled him back to his Pokeball. "That was amazing! Thank you! Rest now." She then pulled out her other Pokeball. "Holiday its your turn!" She threw the Pokeball and her little Pikipek appeared, flapping her wings and flying around the arena.

"Klover might have a point." Cecil looked to the Mimikyu "Do you want to come with me?" the Mimikyu tilted it's fake head again. It thought things over before looking back to the egg and nodding. Cecil was a bit surprised it had actually agreed and a small smile graced his features. He patted around his pockets since his bag was left back by the fire and he pulled out an unused Luxury Ball. He held it out to the Mimikyuu and let the Pokemon tap it with it's claw. The pokeball shook twice before stilling.
Chasin watched the Pikipek fly for a moment before he said "Let's start out strong, Aron use rock tomb!" the Aron stomped on the ground and large rocks were flung towards the flying pokemon. If it hit Chasin knew it would lower the swift flying pokemons speed and give his Aron an edge. Not to mention it could open up the bird pokemon for another attack. Aron was more mobile than Omanyte so Chasin wasn't as worried to let her get close and personal in a battle.

"Wow you caught it!" Skip grinned, glad the whole event had ended without any fighting that would have put the egg in danger. He stood up and looked around with a frown. "Hey you think you could let it out so it can take us back to camp... I can't remember which way to get there......." He said sheepishly.
"Dodge it Holiday!" Peter called, hoping she could duck under the rocks before they hit her. She breathed in relief when Holiday came out of the rocks unscathed. She didn't think they would happen next time as the aron seemed to have great aim. "Okay use Echoed Voice!" It wouldn't do much damage aginst the steel/rock type but hopefully help them go on the offensive.

Klover looked back at Skip and said," why do you think anyone would be fighting?" Klover then looked back at Cecil and said," well of course I am right." This made Angel shake her head at her trainer for saying stuff like that. Angel then pulled on her trainers arm as a way to get his attention, and when she did she pointed farther into the forest. Klover looked the direction Angel was pointing and asked," is the Leavanny Angel?" This just earned a quick nod from Angel to which Klover said," then lets go." Klover and Angel then walked farther into the forest, forgetting how he was not supposed to wonder to far.
