I know right. like someone needs to turn those key finders into glasses finders I would pay top dollar if something could locate my glasses for me. I would pay top dollar for that)
Claudia looked up at him as he sat down pushing up her glasses "Oh good morning" she yawned softly, still picking at her breakfast. she looked at him a bit more noticing that he was a bit sweaty and looked like he had actually woken up this morning unlike herself "What have you been up to this morning?" she asked adjusting her vest a bit wondering wether she was even going to eat the food.

"I just went on a run. Gotta keep my time from dropping too much." Akai replied. He had been taking it easy ever since he injured his arm at the shiny museum and he wanted to get back to his original time "What have you guys been doing?" he asked, looking over the small group that had gathered. At least they were all awake and aware now. Akai had left earlier this morning and no one had been out and about yet.

"Oh hey Blaze!" Peter looked up when the other trainer walked in from outside. "I didn't realize you were up this early!" She nodded to Claudia when she came and sat down with them as well a few moments later. "Morning!" She said to her and then to Akai when he came in all sweaty a few minutes later, surprised he had been up so early and running. "I was up a little late last night getting in some last minute training and we just finished breakfast!" She answered Akai's question.

OOO SPARK THOSE LOOK SOOO GOOD!!! y'all like my new Halloween icon? >:3 you can see a better version >here< sorry i didn't reply after schoollllll i'm always so tired i just have to come look at the thread and read through it a bunch of times before actually replying to anything. but i am here! I hope i didn't miss anything...i don't think our group did the time skip too? also I need pokemon go friends for the quest so if y'all wanna add me send me a dm!) "Oh! Unova! I've heard some great things about that region, though I've never been personally." She looked around the forest as they walked and talked, "I would like to go there someday as well, visiting all the regions and learning about the people and pokemon there would be exciting!" she thought for a moment, "...I can't think of any more questions to ask..heh." Quinn sighed a little at herself, she had suggested the game but couldn't think of anything else to say. "Uhhh stupid human tricks? I can do this with my finger..." she raised her had so her companions could see it and bent only the first joint on each of her fingers. |

Claudia looked down and shrugged "I couldn't really sleep last night So I have been up reading about how the stronger a pokemon connection to their trainer the better their ability to dodge, land hits on their opponents, and hit harder." Claudia said pushing up her glasses and looking up at the others.

"Looks like everyone is training in their own way." Akai replied "I'm going to go shower and change, you guys could plan for the gym battle or something. And don't worry Peter, you'll do great." he smiled encouragingly at the other and walked back towards the rooms. He entered his room and grabbed his bag before heading off towards the showers.
"Ohh, interesting." Cecil leaned a bit forwards to look at her hand. How unusual. He tested his own hand to see if he could do it, but no luck "Have you always been able to do that or did something happen?" he had heard of people breaking limbs and then being able to do weird things with them after the injury had healed.

Peter waved as Akai went to go shower before turning to Blaze. "So how are you feeling after yesterday?" She asked him softly, knowing he had taken his defeat hard from the previous day. She hoped her late night training with her own Pokemon would give her enough of an edge to try and take down Chasin on her first try. She wasn't going to tell her friends that both of her Pokemon had learned some new moves the night before because she wanted to surprise them. She was curious about what Claudia had said about Pokemon being able to dodge attacks more when they had a close bond with their trainer.
Skip mad a face of dislike when Quinn did the thing with her fingers. "Ooooh," He shook his head. "That's cool.... but kinda creepy." He shuddered slightly but smiled and shrugged a moment later. "I don't think I have any stupid human tricks like that."

Painting is like the bane of my existence. I hated it in art class and mixing paints is THE WORST I always mix too much and end up having to throw away a bunch bc I can't get he hang of mixing just what I need. And yeah my hand and very not steady. The small black lines are just me using an inking pen I use for traditional drawings lol.
Currently working on a Torchic and an Oshawott! Both are mostly painted, just have to add the eyes and mouths and paint Oshotatt's nose and then glue them together!)

Blaze nodded as he smiled up at Peter, his hand closing around Treecko's pokeball, an indication that he was ready to go whenever they were ready to go. "I'm fine, and I think I'm ready to go again.. I have a feeling this is going to go a lot better than yesterday."

Peter grinned at Blaze's confidence, it seemed he had worked something out with Treeko. "Great! We can head out as soon as Akai comes back from showering!" She told him, letting his confidence help her build her own. She hoped both of them would be able to win their gym battles that day.

Akai returned to the group dressed in his usual attire "You guys feeling confident?" he asked, picking at some food he had picked up as he walked over. He wasn't usually hungry after a run and had grabbed the food knowing he would be hungry later "When are you planning to challenge Chasin again? Or for the first time I guess. Right now?"

Blaze shrugged his shoulders, looking to Peter as he realized the question was also directed toward her. "I'm ready to go now, but its also up to you as well," Blaze said, gesturing toward Peter. He wondered if she was ready because he had already faced Chasin and it wasn't as easy as many people thought.

Quinn bent and unbent her fingers a few more times a smile on her face, “It’s something I’ve always been able to do, sometimes only a couple fingers will do it. I’m glad they all let me show off a little!” She wiggled her fingers to loosen them up and rested her hands at her sides again. “How long have we been walking? I kinda got lost in chatting and it’s hard to tell the time of day in here.”

Claudia stretched a bit as she pushed her mainly untouched food towards Cin who devoured in an instant. She looked a bit out of it. "Whenever you guys are ready," she said softly pushing her glasses up as she gently pets Q's bone helmet

Akai nodded, agreeing with Claudia "When you guys both win we can celebrate and then head out tomorrow or something." he suggested. Akai was ready to get out of this town, the place was quite frankly a bit creepy to him after all that had happened. The key in his pocket seemed cold against his hip. Mentally pushing the thought away he took another bite of the food then offered the rest to Ampharos and Dartrix who were nearby.
"I believe we have been walking for an hour or so. Perhaps it's time to take a break and stop for the night." Cecil glanced down at his pokedex for the time and then back to the group. Vulpix had gotten bored of walking long ago and had perched on his shoulder, watching his back as they walked through the forest.

(I finished Oshawott and Torchic!  I'll post pictures tomorrow bc I'm really tired and don't have good lighting but I'm SUPER Proud of them! Torchic looks the best which is funny bc its like my LEAST fav starter bc I detest Blazekin lol. I also really like the colors for Oshawott especially his body) "I'm ready!" Peter nodded and stood up. "Do you mind if I challenge him first? I don't want to loose my nerve." She asked Blaze as she gathered her things and recalled her Pokemon into their balls. She wanted to challenge the gym while her strategy was still fresh in her mind and her Pokemon were all pumped up. Skip consulted his map and nodded in agreement with Cecil. "We are a good way through the forest right now so stopping for the night wouldn't be a bad idea." He glanced around to see if there would be a good spot to set up camp. "It looks like the trees thin over there if we want to make a camp over there." He pointed a little ways ahead. |

"Sounds like you're ready to go." Akai tossed the wrapper into the trash and shoulder his bag, ready to follow the group out as they made their way to the gym. He was pretty positive Chasin was awake as he had seen the gym leader earlier on his run. He gestured for his pokemon to follow them as they all headed out. Even Banette was interested enough to come out of his pokeball and watch the whole thing go down.
Cecil nodded and walked over to the small clearing. It looked like this place had been used as a camp before as there was already a small fire pit dug out into the ground "Willow and I would be happy to grab some wood for a fire." he suggested. Cecil called out Soleil as well so he could stretch his fins.

Quinn nodded, “Alright that looks good to me, when everyone is ready Helios can light the fire for us.” She reached around into her pack and called out the rest of her Pokémon. Quinn scooped up Mio, who was prone to wandering and handed him a leaf to keep him distracted. “We can help do that or help with anything else?” She looked around, the site was pretty clear of rocks and looked flat enough.

Cecil returned not soon after with an arm full of branches. Willow held one or two smaller ones in her mouth "Could you get Helios to start the fire?" he asked, placing the branches by the circle of rocks and setting them up. He made sure it would hold then took a step back for the pokemon to start it up.

Claudia Smiled softly and got up to follow them picking Q up and holding her in her arms while Cin followed closely behind. She looked forward to the gym battle she hoped that it would help to pick her up out of the mood she had been in. As they started to walk she looked back at Cin and wondered whether she should try training with her maybe even battling with her.

Blaze placed his hands out in front of Peter, gladly stepping back for her to go first with her challenge. He didn't mind doing so because it might also give him some insight into how Chasin is using strategics for the battle. "Its fine with me, hope you do great," he added.

"Thanks," Peter smiled at Blaze before leading the way out of the Pokemon Center and heading towards the Pokemon Gym. She didn't talk much as they went over, which was out of character for her. She was very nervous about the battle and was preoccupied with her thoughts. She stopped when they arrived at the gym, which wasn't very far from the Pokemon Center, and looked up at the sign that signified the building was a Pokemon League Official Pokemon Gym. She stood like that for a few moments before glancing around at the others nervously.
Skip was rummaging through his bag while the others got the fire ready. He pulled out a notebook and flipped through it. "I was thinking of making dinner tonight," he told the others as he looked at the recipes he had written down. "Any preferences?"

Claudia Walked up to stand next to her putting a comforting hand on her shoulder "You have a strong bond with your pokemon regardless of the outcome of the battle they will see it as a great learning opportunity. Your pokemon trust you Peter I think you will do great. and I look forward to learning a lot from you today" Claudia smiled at her as her glasses sliped down her nose she pulled her hand off Peters shoulder to push them up.

"Yes, of course, Helios? Would you do the honors?" Quinn ceremoniously stepped aside so her quilava had a clear path to the unlit campfire. He walked forward, igniting the fires on his head and back. Heat washed over Quinn as he walked past. "Just don't completely incinerate the sticks okay?" she added as an afterthought, to which Helios gave a slight nod of acknowledgment. He blew out some fire and the kindling was devoured by the flames, but the bigger twigs and sticks began to burn slowly. "Thank you!" she exclaimed, Mio gave a sound of agreement from her arms. At Skip's words, she turned to face him. "That's so nice! I don't mind though, I'm not a picky eater!"

Akai nodded in agreement when Claudia spoke "Trust your training, you prepared for the battle." when they walked in Chasin was waiting for them in front of the field. It looked like he was expecting the group to be back today as well. "Welcome back trainers." his voice boomed across to them and he had a confident grin on his face.
Cecil clapped politely as the fire was lit. When Skip spoke he turned to him and said "I don't mind either. Thank you for making the food, I appreciate it." Cecil would normally just eat some berries or something simple he had stashed away in his bag for the night. It would be nice to have a meal.
