Blaze nodded toward Claudia's advice. Although, he and Treecko didn't see eye to eye nor did the Pokemon seem to trust him, Blaze still planned to use him for the gym battle especially when he had a type advantage over the Rock Gym. "Yeah, trust me, I want nothing more than to help him with his personal goals, but like you said," he murmured. "Trust has to go both ways to work together."

Peter nodded and smiled a little shyly, glad that he wasn't judging her or anything for not being competative about Pokemon battles. She had known a lot of kids growing up who were super competative about it so it was nice to not have that pressure. "Yeah, journeying just sounds fine to me." She admitted with a sigh of relief.

Akai stretched out and asked "So when do you think we'll head to the gym?" it would be nice to see Chasin again, and watching the battles would certainly be interesting with what was going on. Akai couldn't even say for certain who would win, especially with Blaze. He of course would cheer for them, but the trainer was at a disadvantage with his typing since Treecko would not listen to him.

"Do you think we could have a snack break between now and when we set up camp? I can walk as long as we need to but I just need one snack break at some point." She sagged her shoulders a little bit, "I can do anything as long as I'm not starving." It was true, she could run off of little sleep but if she was hungry it was all her brain could concentrate on. "I agree though, I think we should stop before it gets too dark. We want to be able to see still when we set up camp. Fire is nice but its not ideal lighting." Quinn did not see well in the dark, she was worse than most people. "Anyway though, we have plenty of time to get to know each other. We grouped together so quickly all I really know about everyone is the basics!"

"Uh well I want to challenge tomorrow," Peter told him, glancing over at Blaze. "I don't know if he wants to wait till tomorrow too or go today though." Something seemed to be on her mind and she looked back at Akai with an almost confused expression on her face.

"Works for me either way." Akai replied "What are you thinking about?" he asked, raising an eyebrow and looking at her somewhat skeptically. He waited for a reply, a bit confused himself at this point.

(It's cool my replies haven't been amazing today lol. I've had a lot of trouble focusing on things today)
Peter opened her mouth to say something but closed it and thought for a moment. "I guess I was just.... wondering why you are going out of your way on your own journey to travel with us?" She said slowly, as if she wasn't sure of her wording. "I mean don't get me wrong its been amazing and I really like travelling with you so far... but I dunno. It just seems like you are really passionate about becoming champion and I just don't want to hold you back...?"

Go around in like a circle and say a random fact about our selves? Do like a game of asking each other questions? uhhhhh?" He wasn't really sure how to get to know such a large group of people like this. |

" Claudia said before looking down at Q a moment. Q was looking up at the two trainers with curiosity. "When I first tried pokemon battles with Q here I used to think that she was just being stubborn rather than just not liking to battle. It wasn't until after I failed at challenging a gym that I realized she didn't like battling." Claudia said gently petting her pokemon's head

(Not much Sparkly, the group just started their journey into the forest and are just getting to know each other)
Peter nodded, satisfied with his answer. "Okay, I just wanted to make sure we weren't holding you back or anything." She turned a smile to him, a genuine one. "I've really liked travelling with you so far Akai. I hope we'll keep travelling together for a while."

Akai grinned and nodded "I hope so to. Travelling with a group is way more fun than travelling by myself like before." Akai was a social being and being by himself was fine, but travelling with the group had been a good change. He stood and stretched, offering Peter a hand and said "Should we get going?" they couldn't sit around all day.

You up for it?" his Pokémon had been playing nearby and at the mention of exploring they came over looking interested in the idea. Akai grinned at them and waited for Peter to agree before they headed out.

(As I told Sparkly a couple posts ago you tired boy lol The group just left Lushsong town and are on the route towards teh mountain and are talking about how they will have to camp out in the forest that night and that they are trying to get to know each other)

Akai considered his options, there were not a ton of places honestly, the biggest draw being the gym "I was only here for a little while, so I don't know many places... we could always just look around if you wanted to. I'm sure they have some fun places to get a drink or a snack. Maybe some cool stores to." he suggested.

(That moment when you walk into your classroom 30 min early and its pitch dark and no one is in there..... Last week the class wasn't even unlocked and now its open but no one is in here lol)
"That sounds like fun," she responded cheerily. "Just walking around and seeing the city sounds relaxing after all the battling we did today." Holiday landed on top of Dartrix's head and looked at him upsidedown with curiosity. "Just uh... no museums okay?" She joked.

"Just asking each other questions works for me," Skip shrugged and glanced to see what the others said. He was trying to think of questions he wanted to ask his new comanions as well as think of interesting things about himself that would tell the others about himself.

Akai snorted and nodded "I have to agree with you on that. I don't want a repeat of the last one. My arms hasn't even healed up yet." as they walked they noticed some different stores and shops "If you see anything interesting we can stop. I'm looking to." there were a few that caught his eye, but none that inspired him to stop or anything.
"I am happy to participate in anything you guys decide." Cecil replied, glancing over his shoulder every so often. The noise was still bothering him. Shaking his head he turned his full attention to the group, also thinking over what he might ask them. Starting with the basics would be good he decided.

She looked down at Helios as they walked "I picked a fire type because my dad always told me it was a powerful typing, its true, but like all types it has it's own weakness. I picked Cyndaquil because I was born in Johto and I imagine if I had stayed there to take my journey I would have picked it there." She smiled broadly, "But most of all I picked Helios because he just stood out among all the others."
