Oh man, you're right... Aegislash is probably my favorite steel type and it is also a one of my favorite shinies. Something about Banette is just really cool to me.)
Cecil, always the explorer, had already moved the story to the back of his head. He had stopped again and was looking at some berries. Willow had gotten into the low hanging branches with his help and was pulling at a berry for him. There was a sudden creaking noise and Cecil jumped, looking around him. There was nothing there... A shiver ran up his back and he urged Willow to hurry up. She barked at him, and pulled harder at the berry nearly falling from the tree when it finally gave. As she moved back towards him Cecil noticed some movement from the corner of his eye. When he turned though, there was nothing there.

(yeah it's fun so far! Considering I wanted SAO to be a real game (aside from the dying thing) this is the closest I'm gonna get for a while lol. It's really pretty and the graphics are nice)

Quinn nodded absently, she was more worried about what was going to be in the dark than the dark itself. "Yeah..." her voice trailed off, she glanced down at Helios, "Luckily we have Helios. He can make a great big campfire when we settle down, right?" She grinned down at him, "Lava!" he shouted back at her, declaring his support for this plan. "Well, then that's settled. (Okay. Anyone else wanna add a Pokemon to their team within the woods? Remember there are a lot of fighting, psychic and ghost types in the woods along with normal Pokemon you would find in a forest like grass, bug, flying, normal and poison types! Just let me know and I'll see what I can whip up for ya'll. I know Blood wants a Leavanny so we'll be getting to that one real soon) (Could Aurora catch a Gastly?) |

Claudia nodded Listened to Blaze describe his pokemon as she put away Cin's Pokeball. "It sounds like he might just have a stubborn personality." Claudia said as she picked Q back up "Some pokemon just don't want to listen either they think their trainer doesn't know what they are doing and want to do things there own way or they just think they know better." Claudia said then thought hard while stroking Q's skull "The best thing I can suggest is to keep using him and working to earn his trust that you know what you're doing and that he can trust you." Claudia said with a shrug "But not all pokemon want to listen."

Blaze nodded, understanding there really wasn't too much advice Claudia could offer that he didn't already know. He had tried everything to help Treecko transition into the group, but he found himself barely making any progress. "Thank you, Claudia," Blaze said, glad to still get help from someone. He knew he would have to continue to work with Treecko, but wasn't sure how they could get stronger together without cooperating.

Claudia could see a bit of disappointment In Blaze's face as he nodded "I can read more about it if you want... But I know that one thing I read is that the pokemon gains more respect for you if you trust them first. " Claudia said frowning slightly as she wished she could be more helpful. "Maybe try using him for the gym battle showing him of your confidence in his abilities to beat it may help him trust you" Claudia offered to try to be more helpful. as she glanced down at Q.

Cecil quickened his pace to get back with the group. He didn't mention feeling as if something was watching them, not wanting to make them uneasy based on a feeling alone. He listened to them chatting about setting up camp and mentioned "A fire will be important. It would be nice to be able to see around us." with all the Pokémon and rumors around this place it was better to be safe than sorry "Speaking of camp, when would you guys want to stop?" perhaps it would be wise to stop when it started getting dark so they had time to make some food and set up camp.

(Sorry guys I am having too much trouble trying to focus long enough to write a response....)
"Yeah I'm glad you two have firetype starters," Skip said to Quinn and Aurora. He glanced back at Cecil and shrugged. "I dunno, when it gets too dark to keep going maybe? Or if we get tired? Its up to everyone. I did read that it's at least a two day journey just to the bottom of the mountain and then depending on how fast we climb the trail and go through the caverns it could be a three to five day trip to CloudyHeights from there." He was glad that he now had some friends to travel with as making that almost week long trek would have been nerve wracking and potentially dangerous.
Peter left Blaze and Claudia to talk about his Treeko, feeling she didn't have much to add since she was still new at handling Pokemon. She walked over and sat next to Akai. "Hey," She smiled at him.

Akai had been lost in thought and jumped a bit when Peter walked over "Yo." he replied, nodding to her "How are they doing with the pokemon problem?" he asked. They were going to be fighting the gym soon, so Akai hoped that Blaze could get things sorted out. If not, things would be pretty hard for him.

"Uh," Peter glanced back over to the other two. "I think they are working on it? It just doesn't sound like there is much they can do about it...." She shrugged and frowned. She was quiet for a little while and looked down at her hands. The rubbed her thumb over one of the cuts on the back of her wrist from the fight at the museum two days prior. It was obvious she was remembering the fight from that day as her expression darkened.

Akai noted her expression and said, trying to continue with the conversation "I think that as soon as his Treecko realizes they work better together as a team they should get along better. It just depends on if that other happens." he said thoughtfully. His own shoulder and arm was still sore from the experience. Thankfully the injuries were slowly getting better.

"Banette really likes to battle, which is pretty obvious. But he also really likes to win. So when I continued to win using my other pokemon I think he realized that if he gave a little, there was a better chance he would win." Akai shrugged "I think he was acting more on pride than not really respecting me."

Akai rubbed the back of his neck, grinned at the compliment "Thanks! I'm nowhere near the best, but I am striving to get there." he had a few pokemon, and he wasn't very far into his journey yet "You guys are getting really good as well, I'll have to watch my back or you guys'll catch up to me."

Peter frowned at his last statement. "Huh...." She didn't like the idea of competing with Akai to be Champion. She didn't even think she wanted to try an be Champion or anything like that. "I mean... I guess so..." She shrugged. She was looking forward to her gym battle but it was more as a way to prove to herself that she could be a Pokemon Trainer and that she wouldn't always need someone else to come bail her out from battles.

Noticing her apprehension Akai added, his tone joking "I still plan on being the best though. And it's not like you have to aim to be champion or anything, just going on a journey is a good experience and most kids do it." only a select few would continue with battling later in life as a gym leader or elite four member. Sometimes they would even be stationed at Victory Road to challenge newer trainers that came through.
