Sadly, Blaze didn't catch up with Akai or Peter during the whole table fiasco, arriving a few moments after they went inside to order their food. "Wow, definitely not expected to run," he muttered to himself, but he realized a girl was still sitting at the table in front of him. "Oh, hi. I'm Blaze, a friend of both Peter and Akai. Nice to meet you," he said with a shining smile.
Sorry, today has been a long day full of things I didn't expect to happen.)

Claudia had spaced out while she read when he spoke Claude startled a moment looking up at him "Oh Hi sorry didn't notice you. Your friends went inside to get food I'm Claudia please feel free to join me!" She said smiling up at him pushing her glasses up against her eyes. If you could could you grab me a coffee cake and some poke food?" Claudia asked pulling out some money from a pocket

"Yeah sure," Blaze said leaning forward so he could receive Claudia's money to purchase her items, as well as use some of his own money to get something to eat. Though, he wasn't exactly sure what type of food they served. As he walked into the diner, he quickly found a menu and decided to go with getting a cold meat sandwich, but the line for to order was a little bit long.
(Does this make any sense? Sorry I wrote this at 2:30 AM and I was very tired.)

Sam finished up talking to April before going around and making sure everyone was okay.They saw a shop keeper was having issues picking up the frame of their stand so they went over to help. "Hey can we get a hand here!" They called around, catching Quinn's eye as they struggled to help the merchant put their stall back together, grunting with the effort. βComing!β Quinn scrambled into action, Helios and Orion following closely after her. Even with her help the stand still felt much too heavy. βHey Mio!β She moved one hand from the frame to release her espurr from his poke ball. βCan we get a little help lifting this?β In a bright flash her espurr appeared before them, his eyes a little sleepy. βOkay Mio, use psychic!β |

Claudia picked her book up again quickly losing herself in the book. She had an almost magical ability to completely tune out the world in just a matter of seconds which is why she is so easy to startle. Cin had utterly destroyed the paper clumps she had been given and was now moving over to the other Pokemon. Q jumped into Claudia's lap deciding to take a nap full from tea and Claudia's earlier cake.

"No problem, I'm happy to help." Akai replied, moving to the other side of the counter to wait for his food to come out "It'll all be worth it if you guys manage to beat the gym leader. I remember having a bit of trouble with him even though my pokemon had the advantage."

Sam blew out a breath as the heavy stand was lifted out of their grasp and gently set back up into the proper position. "Thanks a bunch!" They turned with a grin to face Quinn and giving the Espeon an appreciative nod. "That makes things much easier."
"Is there anything I should watch out for in terms of his strategy or anything?" Peter asked as she waited for her food to be ready. "I'm... really nervous about this battle." She admitted.

"Since his pokemon that he'll use will be pretty low level, you probably won't have to worry too much about complex strategy. Staying calm will be good though. Don't lose your cool." Akai replied. As his food got finished he picked it up and waited for Peter to get hers before starting towards the door to the table outside.

"Stay calm, Don't loose my cool," Peter repeated to herself as she grabbed her food and followed him outside, waving to Blaze as they passed him. "Were you nervous for your first fight?" She asked Akai as she took her seat, next to Claudia and Akai leaving a space open opposite her for Blaze. She released Turtwig and set the Pokemon food she had gotten for him and Holiday down on the ground for them. They both happily started eating it.

"Here? No. The first battle here definitely isn't my first one. Remember when I said I came from another region? There I fought a couple gyms." he sighed at the thought "But my first ever battle I'd say I was. A little bit at least." his first battle had thankfully gone well for him and he'd won.

Peter nodded, feeling a little better at learning that he had been nervous his first gym battle. "How different is it in other regions?" She asked, not having traveled out of the Shuri Region before. She started to eat her food as she waited for his response.

"Gym battles are pretty similar in all regions. The biggest differences you'll find are in the order. Some regions have a water type gym first, or a different one for beginners." he said "That and the customs and people are always different. Some even have different languages." he finished off.

Claudia Was still reading when they sat down not really noticing them as they talked to absorbed in her book. Q looked at them and at her trainer realizing that Claudia was not paying attention she used her bone club to smack the book out of Claudia's hand "Huh wah" Claudia Jumped slightly looking around surprised a moment "Oh hey your back" she said embarrassed she hadn't noticed. Claudia closed her book and put it in her pocket.

"That's really cool," Peter smiled, now wanting to go to another Region to see how they do things. "What region are you from Akai?" She smiled at Claudia when she zoned back into the conversation. "Hey! We were talking about gym battles and other regions! I'm gonna battle the gym here tomorrow so I was asking Akai about it because he already has two gym badges here!"

"Definitely not as many as I would hope." Akai replied, setting his food down and sitting down. He gave his pokemon the food he had gotten for them and the three of the dug in "Oh, and I'm originally from Johto. My family moved to Alola when I was really young though so I don't remember much from there."

"You've been to two other regions?" Peter asked in amazement. "I only grew up in Peak Town so I don't have much experience with anyplace outside of there and the surrounding fields. I can't imagine what other regions are like! Pictures and videos from the Alolan region look fake to be honest!"

Claudia nodded "that's cool I'm still not sure if I'm going to try any gym battles I don't like watching Q or Cin get hurt though Cin does like battling. Back in Kanto Q and I tried to challenge a gym, but she just sat there ignoring everything The leader told me that some pokemon don't like fighting unless they have to." Claudia said petting Q's head gently smiling at her cubone.

"Alola is great. I loved it there." Akai agreed. Turning to Claudia he said "Well, there are a lot of job options out of battling. I think the gym leader is right. There are plenty of pokemon who have different personalities." Blazes treecko, for example. Some liked to fight, some ignored commands, some would rather not. They were a different as humans.

Claudia Nodded "Yea I am interested in trying to become a Pokemon Professor someday, but you have to learn a lot about pokemon before you become one." Claudia said smiling softly as she gently traced the small cracks on Cubones helmet looking at her companions as Q relaxed enjoying the pets.

Finally, Blaze reached the counter and first ordered Claudia's small requests of a coffee cake and pokefood. The girl behind the counter nodded as she repeated the order, then told him the total. Blaze handed over Claudia's money that she gave him, before receiving the change back. Blaze then ordered himself a cold sandwich, and some pokefood also for his pokemon. After paying for his order, he only waited a few minutes for both to finish then headed back outside carrying two trays.
Blaze set down Claudia's stuff in front of her, also with her change on the tray as well, before taking his seat opposite of Peter. He released both Shadow and Treecko from their pokeballs, who sat behind him eating out of the pokefood bowl he set on the ground. "Kalos region is very extravagant with their gym battles, with themes coming into huge advantages for some types of pokemon," Blaze mentioned before taking a bite of his sandwich.

Claudia said smiling at Blaze pushing up her glasses picking up Q setting her on the ground next to Cin and setting the Pokemon food down for them Claudia picked up a fork taking a bite of her cake listening as she watches everyone's Pokemon as they ate interested in how they interacted with each other.

Blaze acknowledged Claudia with a nod and smile, before turning to Akai. "No, I mostly went and watched a few of my friends battle," Blaze mentioned. Although, he loved home he wanted to go on an adventure where he wasn't worried about having to go home to check in with his mom.

Peter listened as she heard them all talk about other regions and what it was like there. "So do you guys have any Pokemon from the other regions you didn't bring along?" She asked the three of them. She had heard that some Pokemon Trainers that traveled to other regions would leave their Pokemon with a Professor in that region to start anew in another region.

"I left most of my Pokemon with the professor." Akai replied. Luxio had insisted on coming along and Banette felt it would not get enough battling back at the professors place and had tagged along as well.

"What other Pokemon did you have?" Peter asked him with interest. She had almost finished her meal, hungry after the battle practice from earlier. Turtwig was already done with his meal and he was sniffing around the table and going to hand out with Akai and Blaze's Pokemon.

"Oh, not too many." Akai replied "For a while I didn't even go on a journey so I had limited time to get some before we moved again." Luxio bumped his hand and he took a sweet he had gotten from a bag and offered her one.

Peter nodded as she listened. "Still sounds awesome! Do you like the Shuri region so far? You've seen more of it than I have." She admitted with a shrug. She had read and learned about all the different cities and biomes in school but she had never been to them. She was excited to see the Lushsong Forest up close.

"It's nice." Akai confirmed "I love the nice weather here. As far as I've gotten at least. The beaches are also nice, but I must admit they are no where near as beautiful as Alolas. Though that could just be because I used to live there." he still missed Alola a lot. Perhaps he would go back one day.
