"Thanks Commander," Drake nodded, glad he had done at lease one thing right. He watched her head towards the Boss's door before he decided to stop moping around and go get some rest.
There was no response from the other side of the door, but there was the sound of a soft click as the door unlocked for Lacy to enter.

Lacy took a deep breath and straightened her stance before she walked in. Saluting she said "Sir. I apologize for the inconvenience." she was prepared to get yelled at at this point.

Granite Cape was the closest port when coming in towards Kalos, thus it was only fitting to see boats constantly docking and then shipping off again, carrying cargo, visitors, and in this case, new trainers. Nina held tight to her bag, her Fennekin balancing shakily on her shoulders, sniffing the air to taste all the new, exotic smells this region had to offer. Already it was looking a lot different than home. Nina was having an inner panic attack thinking about what to do... She had been studying pageants for so many years now but she was finally going to do her first one... And all by herself on a completely different side of the world, for that matter. She rubbed her hands gently across the smooth surface of the egg poking out from her bag. The ship came to a stop, letting down anchor and opening up the gates to the pier. People began to file out behind her, chattering amoungst themselves. No time like the present... Nina took a deep breath and began to follow the crowd, a small blonde headed girl stepping out into the new world of the Shuri Reigon.
(I just realized how awesomely similar Cecil and Nina are. XD They're both from the Kalos Region, and both have eggs, and are both kind of bad at making conversation. They're gonna be swift friends. ^W^)

Ohh they'll be a great duo haha)
Cecil walked through the town, eyes on a paper in his hands. He had heard there was a doctor here who made medicine from herbs. Cecil wanted to visit and see if he could convince them to teach him a bit. Willow, his Vulpix, sat perched on his shoulders. She was looking around him, keeping an eye out so he didn't accidentally walk into the water or into a pole.

Allumer radiated with excitement, unlike her trainer all too happy to explore this new, strange world. The Fennekin promptly leapt from her shoulders, landing on the cobblestone surface of the docks and taking off. "Wh- Allumer!?" Nina stiffened, calling after her but she had gone tone deaf to the sounds of her trainer. What a great start, 2 minuets on the ground and she already lost her Pokemon! She was going straight in her ball whens he got her hands on her. "Allumer come back!" She ran after her, politely trying to work through the throngs of people. The small Fennekin ran, glancing behind her to make sure Nina was trailing far behind when her small body collided with something hard. With a tiny oof the Fennekin toppled over, looking up at what she had run into, a boy with a little fiery fox on his own shoulder.

Cecil stumbled and nearly stepped on the pokemon that had just run into him. Twisting quickly he stepped to the side and regained his balance, the small paper fluttering from his grasp. He even managed to avoid cursing. "That was close," he looked down to the pokemon that had run into him "Are you alright?" he asked, his polite nature taking over.

Obediah was sitting at his desk, the box with the key sat before him. He didn't look up when Lacy entered, just jestured to the chair opposite for her to sit. "So Sam showed up." He spoke in his deep voice. "I didn't think the Champion had the time to leave the Pokemon League since they are constantly training."

Allumer pushed to her paws, giving her long sandy fur a shake. Just as she raised her head and was about to yip to the other trainer, Nina burst fourth from the crowd and swept her arms around the little Fennekin, lifting her up off the ground. "There you are!" Her accent was unmistakably Kalosian. The small Fennekin squirmed in protest, wailing and kicking it's legs. Nina straightened again, a bit red in the face, her eyes met with Cecil's and she jumped back a bit as if she hadn't even noticed him there. "Oh! Pardon, I was just chasing after Allumer, here. Sorry if she disturbed you..."

"It's not a problem at all." Cecil insisted. Willow jumped from his shoulders and grabbed the paper on the ground, then walked back to him. "Thank you Willow." he said, smiling down at her and taking the paper from her mouth. Turning his attention back to the trainer he said "You're from Kalos, right?" it was pretty obvious. The accent, the pokemon. It made sense that she would be from his home region.
"I wasn't expecting them to make an apprentice either. It seems that they know little of us though." even with their title of Champion they had not figured out what Team Infinite was after. The just showed how good her boss was at planning and executing his master plan.

"Good," Obediah finally look up at her. "I heard you fell. You are not too injured are you?" He was way too cool and calm, a stark contrast to how Drake had said he was. His dark eyes were focused and calculating as he looked at Lacy. He was glad to hear that they would have more time to gather the keys before any of the Pokemon League members were onto them, making it easier to steal the keys from the gym leaders.

"Block those leaves with mudslap." the Aron twisted, a splash of mud coming from the ground and knocking the leaves aside. Aron was getting slower, one or two more attacks would probably finish it "Let's finish this. Use headbutt." Aron burst through the mud and lunged towards Cherubi.
Lacy was slightly unsettled, he really was acting different than she thought he would "I'm fine sir." she insisted "I can move out whenever you need me." she could go on another mission, easy. The stone cold reception however made her think that he was much more mad than he was letting on.

"No I want you to rest for a few days." Obediah shook his head and turned his attention to the box on his desk and opened it up and pulled out the key. "I'll have another important mission for you in a couple days. We need to lie low for a little bit after the embarassment that was the Fall Festival." His voice hardened for a moment before he changed topics. "The Vine Key," He held up the dark green key that looked like it was covered in vines and leaves. "THe ancient text says that if it's used with the other keys it will unlock the power of nature." He set it back in the box and closed it. "Of course it's useless without the power of Pokemon from Lushsong Forest." There was the anger.

"I can go and hunt some right away. Please let me, to make up for my mistake at the festival." Lacy said again, insisting that she should be put to work. It was her failure that made the Fall Festival mission go wrong. It only made sense for her to make up for it.
Aron flinched and at Chasins command used metal claw, using the closeness to slam Cherubi into a nearby boulder. The leech seed took affect and it was injured further.

There was a large explosion and as the dust cleared Aron was still standing. She then took a step and collapsed, no longer able to stand after the powerful attack, "Aron is unable to battle. Challenger Aurora wins."

"No," Obediah spoke firmly, offering no argument for the matter. "I need you at full strength if I can use you. Besides, the Lushsong forest is going to be crawling with Police and Rangers so we have lost our chance to capture any Pokemon. Instead we need to place Grunts along the routes to try and catch any trainers off guard that may have caught Pokemon in Lushsong and take their Pokemon."

"Very well." Lacy nodded and stood "I'll let Drake know." the grunts were probably bored already, no having something to do and being forced to hang out around here. Some good ol' thieving would get their blood running.

"Good work on making sure the Key got back to me," Obediah told her. "It took precednece over everything else in the mission and it's good that you recognized that. I'll want you to write a report on what the Champion said to you and what happened to you after you fell but it can wait till tomorrow. Go get some rest Lacy." His voice was almost kind as he spoke to her. She was his top Commander so he did favor her a little.

(nothing like rping while at work) "No!" Sam hissed in pain as they were forced to let go of Lacy. They watched her fly away as they fell towards the ground, face filled with sadness and disappointment for a moment before they turned their attention to the fact they were plummeting towards the ground with no time to call a Pokemon out for help. They closed their eyes and braced themselves to hit the hard ground of the village. "Quick Lucario! Psychic!"
A voice cried out. The bipedal Pokemon nodded and pointed it's arms up towards Sam, it's eyes glowing a deep pink colour. Metres before hitting the ground, the Champion was quickly wrapped in a sharp, deep pink aura - the power of the psychic managing to slow their fall until they stopped a foot before the ground. Lucario lowered it's arms and used it's psychic to gently lower the champion onto the ground, before it's eyes returned to it's natural reddish colour.
April quickly rushed through the crowd, with her leafeon just ahead - ignoring the bewildered shrieking of the somewhat crowd.
"Dear Arceus, what happened?" She asked rhetorically looking down as Ace stepped forward and sniffed the Champion for any injuries.

Sam opened their eyes when they felt the familiar psychic energy surround them. They blinked in surprise when they landed softly on the ground and looked up at the Lucario with confusion for a few moments before looking at April. "Oh! Is this your Lucario?" They asked with realization before realizing April had asked them something. "Uh..." They slowly stood up and faced April. "I was uh.... chasing that uh... Criminial and made a poor life decision." They offered sheepishly in answer to her question. "Thank you for your quick thinking and for catching me before I faced the consequences of my poor life decisions."

Lacy nodded and turned, leaving the room. Once out she sighed and made her way to her rooms. That went better than she thought it would. Once in her room she called out her Aegislash "Good work today." she offered the pokemon some pokeblock and sat down on her bed.
Chasin clapped and walked over to her "Congratulations, you deserve this." he held out the Marble Badge. The ref watched as the exchange was made.
