"Wouldn't you like to know." Lacy replied, watching them with a bored expression. She just wanted to get to the police station and plan her escape. And maybe sit down. She really shouldn't be walking on her ankle, but unfortunately she was too proud for her own good "Let's just get this over with. I have things to do."

Sam wanted to retort something about how would people follow the cause if nobody knew what it was, but they decided to save their question's for after they arrived at their destination. After a few more minutes of walking the trio entered back into the village. There were a bunch of trainers scattered around helping clean up and make sure all the Pokemon were taken care of. A few of them looked up when they saw the three enter the village and recognized Sam as the Champion and then they recognized Lacy's Uniform. A few murmers started among the trainers.
"Think you can handle all these trainers by yourself without any of your grunts?" Sam asked Lacy softly. "I"m sure they would be very happy to hear what you have to say after you and your goons tried to steal their Pokemon." They directed her to the POlice Station and took her inside.

April quickly made her way over to Drapion to make sure the Pokemon was okay. "Drapion! are you alright?" She knelt down beside the poison type, Ace sitting down beside it and sniffed the wild Pokemon. "That was team infinite." She let out a sharp hiss under her breath. She knew of the trouble Team Infinite could cause, but to what extents? Even April, who had been part of their team for a bit, could barely imagine. Once she had lifted her head and looked around, most of the smoke had cleared enough for her to see the Champion chasing after a Team Infinite member.

"Hmm it's too bad you can't throw me to the dogs, it would blemish your act." she replied. If it had been the other way around, she would not hesitate to throw him to the angry mob. Too bad they were good guys. She stuck her tongue out at a few trainers that hadn't managed to get their pokemon back.

Chasin, who had seen her walk up, greeted her "I see you've come back. I look forwards to our battle." the gym battle field was large and covered it rocks. There were boulders and rock formations scattered among them. The uneven terrain would prove difficult for some. |

Sam ignored her as they pulled her into the Station and followed Officer Jenny to a room for interrogations. They undid Lacy's handcuff's and directed her to sit in the chair opposite the wall with the mirror.
"A doctor will be in in a couple minutes to look over her ankle and to check on your Pokemon," Jenny told Sam as the Champion took the other chair opposite Lacy. "Did you need anything else?"
"Thank you Jenny," Sam smiled warmly at her. "I really appreciate your help and cooperation with this. I'm good for now though."
The Police Officer nodded before closing the door and leaving the Champion and Commander alone together. Sam dropped the smile and just looked at Lacy in silence with an unreadable expression for the longest time, making no move to say anything.

Lacy sat still as well, not going to speak first. She just had to wait for her chance. Instead she leaned back and watched the champion carefully. She yawned, obviously bored with the situation.

She took a deep breath, squaring her shoulders, and looking down at her feet. She finally looked up again, reaching for one of the two Pokeballs that now rested against her hip, hanging off of her belt. |

After a while of silence Sam opened their backpack and pulled out a fancy looking tablet and started to look through something on it in silence, now completely ignoring Lacy and fully interested in whatever was on their tablet.

Chasin nodded and brought out a pokeball of his own "Omanyte, I choose you!" in a flash of red appeared the pokemon. He stood and waited for her to send out one of her own. "This will be a two on two battle. Only the challenger is allowed to switch pokemon." the ref nodded and gave them permission to start as soon as they were ready.
Lacy tapped her palm thoughtfully. She was looking around the room. It had a single door and no windows. From what she had seen when walking in here there were other rooms nearby, but the entrance, and her way out, were a bit farther. She'd wait until a doctor set her ankle, then as soon as a chance presented itself she would get out.

After a few minutes of playing around on their fancy Tablet Sam set it down on the table and pressed a button on the screen. A projection appeared above the Tablet showing pictures and files of Lacy herself.
"Let's see," Sam touched the projection and scrolled through it. "Lacy Walker..... started your journey (Insert correct number here) years ago with your friend Lillian...." They read aloud. "Showed promise by receiving your first two gym badges in record time." They frowned as they pulled up the news article about the Earthquake at CloudyHeights Gym. "An Earthquake caused the collapse and resulting inferno that destroyed CloudyHeights Gym. Due to the swift response by Gym Leader Gale and his Search and Rescue Team there were few casualties at the scene of the disaster. Trainer Lillian (Insert Last Name here) was killed in the Earthquake along with her Pokemon team. But Hundreds of other Pokemon were saves from the remains of the building along with Trainer Lacy Walker who was looking to challenge the Gym before this terrible event occurred. She was unavailable for comment." Sam stopped reading, glancing up at Lacy to gauge her reaction.

"I see." Chasin said "Lets start out with water gun." Omanyte took a breath and stream of water shot out at the chick pokemon. The playing field was made of many rocks and boulders that could be used as shields. At the same time they could also be used as weapons. It was a good field for rock types.
Lacy gritted her teeth as he spoke. She knew she should have gotten rid of those... her nails dug into her palms and she ground out "Just another example of useless gym leaders and the police force. They never are able to protect everyone."

"Oh I don't know," Sam commented as they turned back to scrolling through the articles and files. "It was a terrible accident and I'm sorry for your loss. But it wasn't Gale's fault. It wasn't the Police's fault. Lacy, sometimes bad things happen and we can't protect everyone. I understand that you are upset and angry with us for the loss of your friend. But that isn't any reason to hurt and endanger others. Whatever your cause is, whatever Team Infinite's cause or goals are. It isn't worth what you are putting the innocent people of the Shuri Region through." They pulled up articles and videos of Team Infinite Grunts and Lacy herself wrecking havoc all over the region and the aftermath of those attacks of trainers distraght at the loss of their Pokemon and people trying to help those injuried in the attacks. "So I seriously doubt this is all about getting revenge for your friend. So just save me the trouble and tell me what you and your group of fanatics are up to."

"You're right on one point. I no longer think that you can save everyone. That's the basis of our belief. Only those of us who have joined Boss will reap the rewards." she could feel a drop of blood fall from her hand, her nails digging into her palm as she tried to keep herself from lashing out and strangling the Champion. It was a low blow, even for her.
Omanyte hissed in pain as the flames burned against it's shell "You seem to have gotten stronger. I'm glad." Chasin said. He ordered Omanyte to pull back and fire another water gun. The stream of water shot towards the chick but missed and hit a rock. It seemed the embers had done some damage after all.

Sam sighed heavily and shook their head. They made a mental not of everything Lacy had told them and decided to change tactics. They pulled up a picture of the Commander's friend. All smiling and happy, taken on the day she picked her starter. "Was she nice?" Sam asked softly as they looked past the projection at Lacy. "Your friend Lillian. Was she nice and kind to others?"

"She was." Lacy sighed, then glared at them "Emotional manipulation is not the correct way to get me to want to talk." not that she was planning to talk. Lacy reached out and took the picture from them anyways. Her face was unreadable, but there was a slight quiver in her hand.

"I know," Sam agreed and sat back in the chair. "That wasn't my plan though. I just wanted to know if she was nice." It was tragic that something so terrible had happened to such a happy and kind trainer and Sam felt extremely empethetic.
There was silence for a moment before there was a knock at the door. Sam turned off their tablet before the door opened and a kind looking doctor entered the room. "Oh hello Champion! I heard there were some injuries that needed to be tended to." She said as she stepped inside with a first aid kit.
"Yes thank you Doctor. Lacy and her Charizard fell through the canopy." Sam explained as the Doctor went over to Lacy.
"That looks painful," The Doctor sympathized as she looked at Lacy's ankle. "Please keep your hands on the Table while I set this and wrap it for you." She ordered as she opened her kit and got to work tending her wounds. Sam just sat in the chair and watched quietly.

Lacy nodded and waited until the injury was set and wrapped. There was no point in denying medical assistance. She'd need to be able to walk if she were going to get out of here. That and the pain, no matter how high her tolerance, was starting to get to her and she'd much appreciate if it stopped. Or at least wasn't as bad.

Blaze smiled once the town came into view and they walked into the Pokemon Center. He turned to Shadow, pulling out his pokeball, and gave him a nod as to assure him that it was okay to relax now and get inside his ball. The Houndour nodded before allow his trainer to put him inside the pokeball. Blaze then handed it over to Nurse Joy, to help get Shadow back to full strength after the grueling fight with the Sandygast.
Blaze walked over near Peter and Akai and taking a seat in a small one person chair, listening to their conversation without interrupting. He began to wonder himself exactly what his next move was on his journey. I know I need to challenge the gym, but I don't know if I'm strong enough to do it, Blaze thought while staring off in the distance.

After a few minutes the Doctor got Lacy's leg all set and bandaged up. She looked up at Lacy as she sat back when she was finished. "I'm going to give you a shot for the pain. It'll numb your ankle so walking will be difficult till it wears off."
"She's not walking anywhere for a while so that won't be a problem." Sam spoke up and pulled out Lacy's Pokeballs from their bag. Handing over the one that held the Charizard.
"Any other injuries that you need taken care of before I treat your Pokemon?" The Doctor asked Lacy.

Lacy shook her head, eyes following the pokeballs. Ok, so far it seemed like her plan was set. She'd get out, find her pokemon, and escape. Problem was that she had no idea where they would be kept. Mentally huffing she just crossed her arms and waited for them to leave. The shot was numbing her leg, that would be a problem.

"Okay I'm going to go take care of your Pokemon then," The Doctor smiled at Lacy and took the two Pokeballs and left the room.
"Thank you Doctor," Sam called after her as the door closed. When it was just the two of them again, Sam sat back in their chair in silence for a couple minutes, lost in thought. They looked a little tired, after traveling all the way from the Pokemon League to jump straight into the Fall Festival and haven't been able to rest since the day before. "Listen, in a couple hours, Officer Jenny is going to come in here and charge you with a bunch of criminal offences pertaining to tonight and all the other crimes you've committed since joining this Team Infinite. I imagine even the International Police will want to get involved as well and you'll be locked up for a very long time and you'll never see your Pokemon ever again.... you get the point." They finally spoke, voice flat and factual. "There's nothing I can do about this unless you give me some useful information on your group of criminals. I can get you a shorter sentence, make sure your Pokemon go to a good home and I can even get you privileges in prison. But only if you cooperate with me right now." They stood up and put their tablet back in their bag. "I'm going to grab you some food and water and let you think this over for a couple minutes." They told her before exiting the room and locking it behind them.
