"Alright, I'll give you the first move since this is your first battle." he said, waiting for her move. Omanyte watched the Torchic carefully, ready to move in a moments notice. If the pokemon had not trained before it was most likely still pretty low leveled.

Omanyte grunted and shook itself, the embers leaving small marks but not doing much damage. "Omanyte, use water gun." he called. The pokemon shot a stream of water towards the torchic. The other pokemon was faster than his and would most likely be able to dodge.

Chasin nodded, the pokemon had good reflexes. Give it some time and the Torchic would be a master at it "Omanyte, use smack down." twisting, Omanyte flung a rock at the chick pokemon. He wanted to press the other to see if she would hold her cool in a tough spot. The rock was flying low to the ground.

Omanyte waited for the torchic to move. So far the pokemon had only attacked once. Chasin waited as well, wanting to see what she would do.

Omanyte flinched. Chasin wanted to end this soon, no by fainting her pokemon though. If they wanted to continue training than it would be best if it did not faint. Instead he said "Omanyte, use bite." the slow rock type moved towards torchic, a shadowy set a teeth appearing as it attempted to bite the fire pokemon.

"Ok," Chasin clapped "That's enough." Omanyte moved to his side. "That was good! You have talent. Given some more practice you'll have it down in no time." he offered an Oran Berry to his pokemon and said to the torchic "Would you like one as well?" while holding a blue berry out on his palm.

"So, what did you think of battling?" he asked, standing and calling his Omanyte back into it's pokeball. "I think you get the general idea, you can probably take on some wild pokemon."

"I'll come with you. My Omanyte could use a quick heal as well." he fell into step beside her as they walked back to town "I look forwards to when you challenge my gym. It should be an interesting battle."

"I'd highly suggest you get one. If you continue along this road you'll get to Lushsong forest which has grass types. But whatever you decide to do is up to you." Chasin led her to the pokemon center and walked in along side her. Nurse Joy greeted them, voice chipper. He handed her his pokeball.

Nurse Joy smiled warmly and took both of the pokemon back. "They'll be healed up right away." she said, nodding to both of the trainers. Chasin thanked her.

We could rp Aurora getting another pokemon if you want. Maybe my Team Infinite grunt is hunting pokemon and Aurora saves one?? Unless you'd rather time skip to the gym battle, either way I don't mind :3 )

Felli sat perched in a tree as her pokemon caused some havoc below. She had been sent to collect grass pokemon that had status affecting moves. Of course she had done her job, but this was boring. Jack gathered them together with Will-o-Wisp and Blair, her Lampent would knock them out with flame burst. The actions were causing quite the panic in the forest. Once they were knocked out Felli would throw a net over them. In the circle of flames was currently Jumpluff, Tangela, Weedle, Caterpie, and a couple more grass and bug types.

"Come on Jack, bring them in closer. Boss wants these guys before sun down." Jack nodded and brought the Will-o-Wisps closer, causing the pokemon to yelp in pain as they got burned. Catching pokemon with a net like this was almost cruel, and the way she was slowly forcing them to gather was also not great. Honestly she couldn't care less, but to others her way was probably looked down upon.
