Chasin, who had run to the store, passed by and noticed her looking around "Hello! Welcome to GraniteCape! Are you perhaps a new trainer?" he walked over to her. She looked like a new trainer. Perhaps she was looking around for the pokemon center, or maybe even his gym. It was his job as leader to help the new trainers.

"I do! I happen to be the gym leader there." he gestured for her to follow "Have you stopped by the pokemon center yet? Gotta make sure you're pokemon are fighting fit before challenging a gym." he asked, looking towards her and keeping the conversation going.

Chasin stopped, looking to her with a raised eyebrow "That's... probably not good. As a gym leader I'd suggest you get some training in before coming to challenge me." he snapped his fingers "How about this? I'll show you the ropes, if you're interested of course."

Chasin nodded "Good good, there are some low leveled pokemon around the town that I'm sure you can try your hand at." he changed their course so they were walking back out of town "So, you just started recently, how are you liking the journey so far?" when he first started Chasin remembered he was kind of slow with training and getting places. Of course he was nothing like that now, but it had still happened.

She'd watched her parents have casual battles with their friends when she was little, so she knew something about battluba, at least. Hopefully, it would be enough to carry her through until she knew something more. Sparkie chirped quietly, hopping from foot to foot in an anxious manner. Aurora quickly noticed this, and started to calm him down - He was picking up on her nervousness, and reacting badly. |

Nodding Chasin stopped and said "This should be good. If you wanted we could have a battle. I have some of my pokemon on me and I think it would be better if you got a handle on battling before fighting a wild pokemon." he assured you "But if you'd rather not please let me know. I know how stressful training can be and I don't want to push any boundaries." he meant this with both trainer and pokemon. The torchic looked to be a bit unsettled.

"Great! I'm glad." Chasin grinned and took a few steps away. He pulled out a pokeball and said "Omanyte, come on out." in a red flash his pokemon appeared. The pokemon stretched out and looked at the Torchic. "You ready?" he asked, looking towards Aurora. Omanyte, used to this kind of thing, got ready for battle.
