Sequoia smiled and blushed a little at Julian's words. "That's so sweet of you to say," She told him, not used to being looked up to like that. "I think you'd make a great Professor one day, especially if you really take the time on your Journey to learn as much as you can about Pokemon and the world." She walked over to the table with the boxes and picked up two Pokedexes, turning around and holding them out to each of the new trainers. "These are an important tool to being a trainer," She told them both, giving Aurora equal attention that she was giving Julian, not wanting her to feel left out. "When you point the sensor at a Pokemon it will recognize that Pokemon and and give you information on it. You can test them out in the next room with all the Pokemon you get to chose from." She explained.

Julian smiled a bit when she said she believed in him. "Honestly I will probably try to catch all the Pokemon I can! I wonder if I could catch a shiny Pokemon....." He said thinking before taking his Pokedex smiling. "I remember my brother showing me his when he first got it. Thank you professor." He said holding it tight and close, of all things to get sentimental about the Pokedex was that thing. "I can't wait to see what Pokemon we get to choose from."

Peter let Holiday out of her Pokeball, who went over to join Dartrix by the water. She thought for a moment before answering. "I dunno." She shrugged. "I think I just really wanted to see the world and make friends? That sounds kinda dumb though..... especially since the world doesn't seem as nice as I thought it would be." She frowned for a moment before looking over at Akai. "Wait you have a Banette?" She changed her demeanor at the sight of Akai's third Pokemon. "That's so cool! I didn't know you had a third Pokemon!" She grinned, excited to meet another Pokemon.

A grin spread across Quinn’s face at her Pokémon’s success. Helios landed in front of his trainer, his fires subsiding to their normal size. He looked back at her for a moment then readied himself for the next command. “Well done!” She cheered for her partner. “We got this, use ember!” The quilava inhaled deeply before launching the move. Right when the ember would have hit Nuzleaf, it disappeared into thin air. It stayed hidden for a few moments before reappearing behind Helios and striking with a powerful Feint Attack. It jumped away and geared up to use Razor Leaf, floating a bunch of leaves behind it before sending them towards Helios. |

"Confront it with Leaf Blade!"
Ace heard his trainer called out the command, the Leafeon landed on the ground after aerial ace hit, one leg gave way but the Leafeon managed to keep itself up. The leaf on Ace's head and tail sharpened and glowed a bright green. As the Drapion lunged forward with the nightslash, the Leafeon did too. The Leaf Blade and Night Slash met directly.

Banette walked over in a dismissive sort of manner "It really likes to battle, so just hanging out like this is a bit boring, but I've been trying to teach it how to relax." Akai joked, grinning down at the Pokemon at his feet. Banette rolled its eyes and swiped half heartedly at his leg.

(lol yeah I'm still trying to figure out if I should give her more personality or not)
Sequoia watched them get excited over the Pokedexes for a moment before heading back to the door to the front room and leading them to the door on the other side. "Okay, not it's time for you to pick your partner Pokemon!" She opened the door, revealing a large atrium filled with the Pokemon used as starters from all over the world. They were playing or sleeping or eating or sparring with each other till they noticed the trainers entering. Most got excited for the idea of getting picked but some seemed dejected and sure they wouldn't. "Take as long as you want to pick your partner, it's a difficult decision and there are a lot of wonderful Pokemon to chose from." She took a step back to allow the two new Trainers to pick their partners.

Julian walked around at the familiar Pokemon he knew from helping the professor a bit. He knew he wanted a fire type starter but didn't quite know which to choose. Soon he finally came to the decision and walked up to Litten holding his hand out to it. He knew from experience that the Pokemon has to choose you as well as you choosing it. So he awaited to see if Litten would walk over to him.

GUYS I JUST CAUGHT A SHINY BUNEARY I've been wanting one for ages! And it has limber, which is a plus!)
Banette seemed to like that idea and nodded, cackling in agreement. Akai grinned and dug his toes into the sand "It could really give you a run for your money." the pokemon loved to battle, but also didn't know how to hold back and would also go for a win even when they didn't need to win.

"Losing is a part of being a Pokemon Trainer right?" Peter shrugged, although she didn't like the idea of losing and having her Pokemon get hurt. "Besides...I trust you to not hurt my team... too much." She looked at Akai, he was Banette's trainer so she trust him not to let the ghost Pokemon be too unfair.
She glanced up whens he heard Holiday calling loudly. The Pikipek was playing chicken with the waves that were coming in and running back and forth to avoid the water. She looked like she was having fun. Turtwig was nosing around in the sand, pushing the wet sand near the water into a mound and trying to build some sort of sandcastle.
Peter grinned and rolled up the legs of her pants to her knees. "Come on Akai! Last one in is a Slowpoke!" She called before running for the water.

He was always really nice and seemed really determined to be the best. Which was great because this Litten wanted to be strong and great. "Litten!" Julian smiled like a fool when it pressed it's head against his hand. "I promise not to let you down Litten!" He said excitedly as he picked it up to hug. Finally he got his first Pokemon. And his first Pokemon was so adorable and seemed to have a fierce spirit as well. Huge bonus! After hugging Litten he set it down to await Aurora's choice of Pokemon. But he couldn't help smiling still at the fact he got his first Pokemon.
(want me to make the form for Litten?)

Ultra Sun. I'm so bad at shiny hunting cause I have very little patience so I'm surprised I got one. The nature isn't great, but I'll survive.)
"Hey! No fair, you got a head start!" Akai smirked and dashed after her. He was a fast runner and managed to hit the waves at the same time she did. Water splashed onto his legs but he didn't mind. Banette wandered off to find some shade as the rest of his pokemon played in the water.

(I think I got a shiny Pancham on accident while level grinding or something. And i have the Shiny Tapu Koko from that event but thats all the shinies i got. I just beat the game last night so I'm gonna complete to Pokedex now.... probably import all my Pokemon from Pokemon Sun to Pokemon Ultra Sun to make it easier lol)
(yes if you could make a form that would be awesome, remember Litten is only level 5)
Sequoia smiled to herself as she watched Julian chose his starter. She grabbed that Litten's Pokeball and went over to hand it to him. "Congrats on chosing you Pokemon!" She said as she handed him the Pokeball. "I'm really proud of you for starting on your journey!" She paused. "And since you are going to be making your way to GraniteCape City for the gym there I assume I was wondering if you could deliver something to a friend of mine there."

Peter laughed as they splashed into the water together, splashing water on Holiday and causing her to screech in surpise and shake herself dry. Peter gasped at the cold water and couldn't help but dance in place to try to warm up. "Jeez that's freezing!!"

Julian took the Pokeball smiling. "Thank you professor. I will make sure Litten grows strong and stays happy." He said then thought for a second when she asked the request. "Sure who is it for?" He asked as he put the Pokeball away in his bag since he didn't want to put Litten in there just yet.

Ace was thrown backwards but landed on the ground, it was visibly weak but managed to keep it's footing. As the Drapion collapsed to the ground, Ace's battle posture relaxed. "You did it Ace!" April praised, rushing forward to the aid of her own Pokemon.
"Leaf-Leafeon." Ace responded, having an almost purple hue since it was poisoned.
April's gaze lifted up towards the Drapion and she walked over. "You alright Drapion? Thanks for the great battle." She smiled.

Helios Grimaced after the Feint Attack, Quinn had to take another step back from the battle, it had gotten a little close to her. Helios’ heat was overbearing in battle. “Fire up! Tank the Razor Leaf!!” His flames grew, burning hotter and higher as he took up a grounded stance, bracing himself for the impact of Nuzleaf’s move. (Do Pokémon understand commands like dogs or can they actually just understand human language) |

(A few weeks ago i was sos hunting for a jynx in ultra sun to complete the pokedex because i want to get the shiny charm to shiny hunt for some legendaries. I ended up running into a shiny smoochum XD)

(sparkly. how about Aurora and Julian see each other in the next town/city and decide to travel together then? and if anyone wants to. on his journey there their character can run into him. or if Noble wants he could encounter a wild pokemon.)

(I think they understand human language. At least in the show they all seem to have basic if not complex understandings of what the people are saying)
The Drapion lifted it's head and looked up at April, "Dra... Drapion!" It responded, tired but overall very happy with the battle. It was bummed it hadn't won but also very happy it had been able to have a battle with such a strong trainer. It tried to stand up but it fell back down, still too weak to move much. But that didn't seem to bother it much. It congratulated Ace on it's victory.
Nuzleaf growled in frustration as most of it's leaves just burnt up in the heat surrounding Helios. It tried again but this time whipped up another whirlwind to prepare for the Razor Wind move again. It wasn't paying attention in it's focus on making a strong attack.
