"Hello!" Professor Sequoia greeted Aurora. "I'm the Pokemon Professor! You can just call me Professor Sequoia if you want though!" She held out a hand to shake Aurora's, her hands were warm just like her personality but calloused to show the years of work she has put in taking care of Pokemon. "Are you ready to start your Pokemon Journey?" She asked her.

(If you want! i was gonna make a temporary character for her to travel with but with Julien here I might not need to if Sparkly is up for ur charries to travel together. He still gotta get his starter from Sequoia at some point before travelling tho xD)

Also if either you and/or Sparkly would like to claim a gym leader or elite four spot that would be cool bc I would like to close the rp eventually xD the available spots are the ground type gym and the Dark type Elite Four member)

Julian was on his way to the lab in the town. He had dreamed of this day since he was five and had always pretended to have a Pokemon. Sometimes 'borrowing' one of his parent's or brother's Pokemon. Now was the day he could get his own. But which typing would he pick? And what Pokemon would he pick. Well only time will tell. Soon after being lost in his thoughts he walked into the door of the lab. "Ouch!" He said before rubbing his head, then opening the door before heading in.

wait. 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 YOU HAVE A POKEMON RP AND YOU DIDNT TELL ME???) you can join with one and don't really have to rp them unless plot demands it or you have a challenger. There is a current plot going on with the Elite Four kinda but it doesn't have to be activley rped. You can also create a Team Infinite character or two lol. This just gives you more options to rp and explore the land in case one of your characters are frozen in an encounter or on the other side of the region. You don't have to actively rp them unless they are needed. If that makes sense. It just makes it easier for me to not have to rp a thousand characters) |

The Drapion too the hit with a hiss of pain. Before Ace could jump away it grabbed the Grass Type in it's claws and used Poison Fang again, releasing the Leafeon before it tried to use Energy Ball again. It was smart it seemed and was learning April's fighting style. April smirked, it seemed as though the Drapion is even more skilled than she expected. However, she still felt determination washing over her in waves. "Jump away Ace and used Swords dance, again!" The Leafeon nodded and jumped several feet away, just skimming the Poison Fang attack. However, from the purple coloured bubbles that appeared for a moment, it seemed as though the Poison Fang had done some damage. Ace narrowed it's eyes as the translucent blue swords spun around it once more, covering the Leafeon in a reddish aura; raising it's attack sharply once more. |

Professor Sequoia nodded encouragingly to Aurora. "Then if you'll follow me really quick we'll -" She glanced up when she heard a thunk on the front doors and saw Julian rubbing his head as he entered, she suppressed a soft laugh. "Hello Julian! Are you here to help me feed the Pokemon or are you starting your adventure today?" She asked with a smile.

Julian smiled slightly turning a bit red from embarrassment. "If you want I could help you feed them. But yeah today I am finally starting my journey. I'm so excited but rather nervous as well." He said walking up to them. "Professor Sequoia thank you for helping me get so far." He said before turning his eyes to the girl. "Hello. I'm Julian. You getting your first Pokemon as well?" He said as he put his hand out to shake.

The Drapion realized it had to finish this battle quickly otherwise the Leafeon would be able to take it out with a few solid hits with it's raised attack. It reared back, preparing an attack, before shooting purple venom towards Ace. The Venoshock would do extra damage if Ace was poisoned but still hurt him regardless. The Drapion then lunged towards Ace without a second's chance to crush it between it's jaws with Crunch. It didn't have time to aim it's attack though so it might be easily dodged.

"Hmmm," Peter nodded thoughtfully. She could understand enjoying watching her Pokemon grow and get stronger but she wasn't sure if she, herself would find the same things to be her favorite part about being a trainer. She guess she just had to wait and see though. She nearly tripped as they reached the Beach and the grass abrupbtly ended and sloped into sand a foot down. She caught herself before falling and managed to hop down the ledge and sit on the grass to take her shoes and socks off, feeling the sand on her feet for a second and giggling at the feeling.
Turtwig jumped down the ledge and started running around in the sand excitedly.

"I'm glad to hear that you can finally start your adventure Julian," Sequoia smiled. "Come on you two, let's get you both set up for your adventure and then you can pick out your starter Pokemon!" She went to a door off to the right and opened it for them to enter. It was an office that was completely neat except for the desk, whcih was covered in papers and books on Pokemon and thousands of notes. On a table off to the side were some boxes that contained Pokedexes for new trainers.

April hissed harshly under her breath as she tried to think before the Drapion could knock out Ace. Dodging too many times would just tire Ace out, and the poison will be draining it's energy. "Ace! I need you to be as quick as you can." She called out to her Leafeon, who nodded in response.
"Now! Aerial Ace!"
The Leafeon let out it's cry, white streaks appearing around it as it launched quickly into the air, dodging most of the Venoshock as it charged with lightning speed straight at the Drapion. April sharpened her gaze, hoping it worked out, if it did - Ace should dodge the Poison Fang in the last second and land the Aerial Ace.

Julian followed, his heart pounding as a smile grew on his face. Sure he'd been in the office area and Pokemon habitat area countless times. But this time everything was different. This time he would be getting his Pokemon and going on his journey to possibly beat the champion. "Professor. One day I hope to be a Pokemon Professor like you. Actually that's my dream. You've been such a huge inspiration to me." He said to her as they walked.

(It was a Crunch but they do the same motion xD)
The Drapion was still trying to Perform Crunch but now it's jaws were closing around air since Ace had dodged. It didn't even have a chance to try to avoid the Aerial Ace and took the attack head on. The Drapion staggered and seemed about to fall, but it shook itself and fixed it's eyes on Ace. The dark aura surrounded it again as it used Nightslash, but with how tired the Pokemon was it didn't have much strength behind the attack.

"What about you?" he asked "What inspired you to become a trainer?" Akai followed suit and took off his socks and shoes, setting them aside so they would stay clean. Dartrix flew over to the water and landed so the waves could wash over it's talons. Akai pulled out his other pokeballs and called out his pokemon so they could enjoy the beach as well.

A grin spread across Quinn’s face at her Pokémon’s success. Helios landed in front of his trainer, his fires subsiding to their normal size. He looked back at her for a moment then readied himself for the next command. “Well done!” She cheered for her partner. “We got this, use ember!” The quilava inhaled deeply before launching the move.
