"That's kinda how I feel," Peter nodded and glanced down at the Pokeball with her Turtwig in it. "I just don't really see the point in needless violence you know? But then again, I've never battled before so I don't even know if I'll like it or not." She put the Pokeball back in her bag and looked at Germain and Audra. 'What kind of pokemon is that?" She asked. "Oh, Audra?" Germain looked up at the bird perching on his shoulder. "She's a Chatot. I always like flying-type pokemon, and my dad had caught her awhile back and never trained her that much." He shrugged slightly, adding, "I guess he just thought I could take better care of her than he could, and she gets to take care of me too in his place." "Oh a Chatot?" Peter hummed as she pulled out her Pokedex and aimed it at the Pokemon. Chatot, the Music Note Pokemon, It keeps rhythm by flicking its tail feathers like a metronome. It imitates human speech. "Cool," She nodded and put the Pokedex away. "I don't really know much about the different Pokemon but I wanna learn about them!" |

(Tbh I was going off more in the anime how they battle than the games. The Anime doesn't stick to the whole switch battle scheme.

(And moves like sunny day and others that just add boosts in the anime really don't take that much time to set up even for slow pokemon

(The only reason I keep the counter for myself is that I do not want to be caught using a turn counting moving forever. That is not fair.

That's why i was thinking of stratigies which you can't really do in the games like the ones ash thinks up etc XD) |

(I approve of battling like the Ones in the show more than the ones in the game. In the games its really boring and tedious to battle tbh int he show it looks so much cooler bc you can do so much more with the Pokemon's moves and abilities)

April put one hand to her hip, the other holding onto the handle of the pokepuff basket. "Aw come on. I've seen your performances before!! They're way better than some of the others I've seen!" Although she spoke with a calmer tone, there was still the hints of irritation across the experienced trainer's face.

Akai stretched and continued with the rest of the group. He would have liked to move faster but said nothing as he looked around the area. Route 1 felt longer than when he came back along it.

When the Pokemon went down Sera called back Ace. She wanted each of her pokemon to battle, so seeing Mawile she called out her tank Camerupt Blaster. Just in time to take the attack. It didn't hurt her much because of her ability solid rock. "Remember when I said five out of six were for speed? Meet my tank Blaster. And Blaster Use sunny day!" she called out smirking happily She knew she could this round with an earthquake but she rather drag it out a bit. So she watched as Blaster summoned a harsh sun light into the room. "Now use Lava Plume!" With the boost from the harsh light, she watched as her pokemon brace itself as it pulled lava from the ground and sent at its opponent. (5) (Unfortunately I have to go for the day ;-; Sorry to leave in the middle of a battle.) Laurel let out a small curse under her breath as Holly was hit, a rare outburst for her. The mawile was flung upward, reeling from the attack. "I really hate how you keep switching out your pokemon," she called. "Maybe I'll do the same!" She pulled Holly back before throwing out a different pokeball. "Nightshade! Teach him a lesson with Shadow Ball!" The Mimikyu leaped out, shooting the ball of shadow straight for Blaster. (And yeah, that's all fine! I just haven't seen much of the anime, so I was mostly going off games. Does what I wrote sound about right?) |

(The performances are decided byt eh crowd right? Yeah, April doesn't knowmmuch about them XD)

(Hey its cool I have to get my car anyway from the shop)
She let Blaster take the shadow ball before calling her back. "I'm keeping things fair. Besides this is to help you get hotter in battle. Blaze come on out!" she called out as she threw a pokeball and out came her best pokemon in her opinion. The Blaziken stood tall and seemed to be smirking Down at the little ghost before her. "Blaze Shadow claw!" she called out." she knew this attack wouldn't hurt the other pokemon but at least its disguise would go down.
