She smirked softly as she pulled a pokeball out. She tossed it softly in her hand. "Alright then. Ace Likes get this place lit up!!" she shouted as she tossed the ball and her Talonflame appeared. She swooped up and did a roll in the air before calling out at the other pokemon. Ace then settled to a steady level low to the ground but not touching it. "I had a feeling you'd do that," Laurel laughed. Ace could easily take out many of her pokemon with his resistance to Fairy-Type moves. "Alright, Iris," she called, determined not to just give up. "Let's hit him with all we've got! Disarming Voice!" The florges eagerly complied. Although the move itself was somewhat weak and halved by Ace's resistance, it always hit, no matter what the opposing pokemon did to dodge. |

Sorry for the late reply. I would like to rp my own starter dragon, if that's okay.)
Tatsumi looked around the room at the Starter Pokemon wonder which one was right for him. "I want a Pokémon that well rounded against other types and that's happy go lucky. A water type I what I'm looking for." He said getting to the Pokémon eye level, Oshawott was cute and seemed strong but it wasn't the right one, he noticed Froakie the frog Pokemon didn't seem to be paying much attention to him unlike the others and was focusing on something else. "I'll pick him." Tatsumi said pointing at Froakie who looked at him with surprised hopping over. "Fro?"

"Ace take the hit then whip up a tailwind!" Sera called out smirking softly as she watched her Pokemon take the hit before flapping its wings causing the air around her to twist and turn. With that speed boosting move on her side she waited for her trainers next words. "Alright Ace, Steel wing!" Sera called out
Ace flew up her wings spread out as her wings turned to metal, she then dropped down heading right for the florges. with Steel wing being a priority type move boosted by tailwind it was no surprise Ace was moving swiftly at the other pokemon

"It's alright, Iris!" Laurel called encouragingly. "We can do it! Let's try something a bit stronger!" Iris quickly prepared for the attack, shooting the glowing ball of energy out in sync with her trainer's shout. "Moonblast!" |

April smiled and nodded, "I remember when I was a new trainer back in Alola," She petted Ace, who chirped happily. "Welp," She sighed, propping her sunglasses back on the top of her head. "That was a great battle, I guess I would probably see you around. Good luck in your upcoming gym battles!" April picked up the basket of Pokepuffs she had made earlier off Ace who was looking after the basket while she battled.

"Dodge and go for Acrobatics Ace!" she smiled watching as Ace spun out of the way before dazing back and fore. Heading right for iris. She knew this move would hit as well. Speed and power for most of her pokemon were her tricks. "It's alright. Most people forget about my fiery speed. It's mostly because only 5 out of six of my pokemon have it." she said smiling
(Nah Ace just has high accuracy attacks I think she's the only one with both attacks being high)

As I've said before if you have a stronger team then you either need to start over (as most do from different regions) or skip some gyms in order to keep it fair. It's not fair for you to have a fully evolved Primarina and go against the rock type gym that is meant for trainers that are weaker. So she either will say she has a certain amount of gym badges or can't have Pokemon that strong.) |

Peter heard footsteps from behind the group that were approaching rapidly. She stopped walking and turned and saw Germain running towards them with his two pokemon in tow. "Hey what's the rush!" She called and laughed as he ran up. "I-uh..." Germain slowed to a halt in front of the other trainers. Scratching his neck awkwardly, he offered a small smile. "I sorta realized I was getting left behind. I mean, I don't really have anyone to travel with. I mean..." He sighed, inwardly hating his socially awkward self. "I thought I could maybe group up with you guys? If that's alright?" "That's fine by me!" Peter smiled and nodded. "The more the merrier! It can be dangerous to travel alone anyways!" Her tone was friendly and welcoming to Germain. |

As if sensing her urgent tone, the florges managed to barely inch out of the way of the attack. It was at moments like this Laurel wished she had more status attackers on her team instead of just attacks. If Ace were poisoned or frozen or asleep or paralyzed right now, that'd make it a heck of a lot easier for her. "Moonblast!" Laurel cried again, hoping the attack would hit this time. "Just 'cause you're fast doesn't mean we can't hit you!" |

(2) (Tailwind has a four turn boost I'm keeping track of when its ends)
She was quiet, while she knew Ace could dodge the attack the point of this battle was to help her friends pokemon out. She didn't want to beat them up too badly, nor did she want to be easy on her. Ace sensed this as she ducked her head under her wings as she took the moonblast and was hit down to the ground. Shaking it off she stood up. "Ace use roost." Sera said smiling watching as the pokemon heal itself a little.
