BerryPaw looked around and spotted a tree with low branches and mewed "Wanna go climb that tree?" she mewed trying to break the awkwardness again

"I-I don't know... Mom? Can I climb the tree?" Shadowkit asked, blue eyes shining, black tail swishing. "Of course, dear!" Silverflower purred.

Shadowkit climbed a couple other branches and landed next to Berrykit. "Race ya up the tree!" she purred, starting to climb higher a bit fast.

BerryKit smiled and mewed "Okay on your marks.... get set..... Go!" she started racing up the tree as fast as she could sometimes skipping branches

Shadowkit was about halfway up the 100 foot tree when she landed on a thin branch that snapped, and she started to fall.

BerryKit who was right behind ShadowKit grabbed her scruff as she started to fall sending her a bit off balance but she hung on as tight as she could to the sturdy branch she was on
