He gave a sheep smile with a nod at the comment. It was when she reacted to the limiter.that he sighed. "They shojkd be eliminated-this one was plwced on before a certain someone died. Therefore the dead can't authorize usage. He mentiined something about appreciating it later but all it does is firce me to spend a little extra for a matching style." He waved a hans, Sometimes this thing feels heavy after I'm exhausted myself. I'm not in any rush to remove it. I don't bother, rather I just let it sink into my life. But anyways, it was a pleasure to talk, a s we should catch up over tea or something." He watched her to, when the door shut he let out a puff of air. "Well-" he softly mutter. mintedstar/fur(Love.it! kaito rocks <3 )

Naomi nodded as she fiddled with one of the pens of her desk. A few seconds later Aika entered the room with a rather concerned and confused look on her face. Upon seeing this, Naomi stood up and look towards the letter Aika was gripping in her hands. "What is it? What is wrong?" Aika met her gaze before sighing deeply. "I'm afraid something awful has happened. Something...terrible. One of the five families of the Arcancis Chamber, the Cyra family, has gone missing. More precisely kidnapped. They were one of the remaining families that the VDA had connections with. They also fought alongside us years ago, but now...they are gone. Worst of all, it's believed they were taken to the Swan's Fountain." "Won't they die in there? We've already seen what tragedy has occurred there." Aika nodded as she handed the letter to Naomi. "A boy by the name of Oliver wrote this letter, and somehow managed to get it out of the palace before he was found, we presume. Going off of records he is the young member of the Cyra." "How old is he?" Naomi asked as she looked up at her, her gaze averted from the letter. "He's only ten. I don't think he'll be able to defend himself for long in there, nor will most of the family besides his parents." Rosestar(Huge plot bomb coming ^^ )

James could only stand there and stare. What Aika was saying seemed impossible, almost making his head spin. They have dealt with so many gruesome and terrible things at the agency, some of which would keep any normal citizen awake at night for weeks, but an entire family disappearing, only a single voice of a child left to echo their cries, was chilling in a way that struck James speechless for a minute. "What can we do?" he finally said, because obviously they had gotten that letter for a reason.

I'm to stay in the car we would be taking to watch your feeds through camera to provide an additional pair of eyes. While I do think this is smart, we have two major problems already." "Well the first one is the effects of the blood magic on Dalton obviously, but a second? What do you mean?" "Radio frequency. Blood magic can often be mistaken with wavelengths for reasons we still don't understand. If you enter an area with large amounts of blood magic, I won't be able to do much about it." "I-I see...." Naomi tapped her finger against her chin as she tried to think of the best course of action. "I'm going to go and get some evidence and lies that might help us. You guys are better at group strategy than I am. Maybe go and discuss this with Dalton? It would be best to keep us all on the same page then separated, yeah?" She asked mainly towards James, but Aika nodded with her idea. Rosestar

((Just wrapping up an assignment, be heading to bed. )) Rowlin walked down the halls heading back to where he was originally headed in the first place. He was still thinking about what had happened moments before, but at the same time he now had more on his mind then he had. Her voice... motions...actions...... tone.....that on top of her responses. He turned down a different hallway then took a last sip of his coffee before sighing. I walked into the middle of a war zone without realizing it.. He paused outside his office then gazed behind him to see the empty hallway. "Fate sure is wired.." He softly muttered with a snicker as he walked in then headed over to his desk. There was more paperwork to organize, file, and confirm. "I-It's just like grading-the one thing every teacher hates..." He stated upsettingly. "Nonetheless; I get to read, and pretend that I'm circling corrections." He seated himself with a small smile. "B-But...I really shouldn't circle, correct, and rephrase... I'll get in trouble.." He muttered to himself now thinking about it. These people surely went to school... got the basic English skills. "How cringy can this group of files be?" He raised a brow opening up the first folder cautiously as though it were a life and death situation.

(Alright cool cool ^^ we're going waaaaay back fam) For once, it was quiet. The last few days had been tense and soul wrenching. The army as a whole had been separated, two thirds had stayed with Ryoma to march towards the seaside while only one third stayed with Aika to take refuge in an abandoned village. While this was a decent idea to keep attention away from her, Aika still felt that she had no say in it. Most of the battle decisions were made by Ryoma and Saizo and the other generals they had picked up. I've proven myself enough these past seven months, why can't we just be equal? She thought with a sigh as she gazed out to the mountains beyond them, her hair which was braided tightly against her headed now swirled and lightly cut against her cheeks from the winds around them, her steel, onyx armor which was embellished with red, white, and gold silks and strings felt rather tight from the oncoming cold. She rubbed her hands together and breathed warm air into them, almost forgetting that it was not needed. Dropping her hands to hag in front of her legs, she kept her gaze locked on the highest peak, not bothering to look back at her troops or the village. Auransky

((Oh , that faaarrrr back lol. All good-)) featherlegThe silence was a change of pace. Usually peace and quiet was all deeply desired, but in recent times of war, bloodshed and outcry, a silent day was either pending doom or the result of a massive grave. The air breezed through; it brought a cool silent song that would usually relax the soul. But, as today stands it brought nothing but a chilling fear. Rowlin blinked taking a look at the once lively village they had gone to take refuge, but even though it was now abandoned he could hear the chilling screams of not so long ago. He tried his hardest to ignore it and yet every minute they were there it just appeared to get louder and louder. He shook his head and as a result took a rather unneeded walk through this place which screamed nightmares to him. His softened green gaze inspected every detail from head to toe; and his mind imagined the once lively world which he now stood in. W-Was this really the best idea...d-did I...Am I okay with this? He wondered to himself in deep thought. He could hear footsteps of fellow knights, and allies making their way across the shadows to converse, relax, or regain their rest. It was alright, but still just being there was not the most pleasant of places.

Rolling her shoulders back and feeling a few muscles start to unravel, Aika peered behind her. It had seemed most of the troops and what remaining generals there where outside were finishing making tents or giving whatever temporary restorations they could to the houses left in the village. If I stand now, they will all come out. Or one of the generals will address me about some type of issue we have. Mentally, she felt her head shake. It's no use. It will happen regardless child. You must meet your fate. The slow, calming whirl of a voice emerged in her thoughts and then disappeared. Taking in one final moment of peace, she stood and made her way back up the trail to the camp. (Yup yup Auransky ^^ )

featherleg He continued along the trail through town just dragging his feet along the cold barren ground. It was such a scene that was driving him insane on the inside. Well "insane" was perhaps exaggerated but nonetheless a displeasure to be upon. Just in general everything out here, and there and everywhere was a displeasure right now. But-someone had to stand up for something they believed in right? He sighed now; he wasn't sure what he believed in now. He wasn't sure what he was thinking to land himself in this point in time. Was it survival, aggression, boredom, adventure, curiosity, or something far more out of reach? He shook his head now then reached in for his pocket to take out his handkerchief; "Oi-just-" He gazed at it then zoned out slightly. The hankerchief was of a simplistic color but what was stitched and embroiled on is what kept his interest. It was a lovely design made by someone who obviously enjoyed crafting. The wind alas had other plans as a powerful gust blew the hankerchief right out of his grasp. He was so dazed in the moment that it took a moment for him to blink out of it then react at the fact that it was gone. He skimmed the area frantically then caught an eye for it. It was blowing in a different direction. "N-N-No....please...come on.... not now." He quickly rushed after it. This was something he couldn't loose, not now not ever. He zoomed through silently ignoring the background, ignoring his surroundings just objectively rushing after it.

She had almost reached the top of the trail when a sudden spike of turbulence hit her, causing her knees to buckle and her arms to cross in front of her in a defense stance. After a few moments the winds calmed back to their regular speed, allowing Aika to slowly relax and return to her original stance, although the appearance of a hankerchief in her hand seemed rather...odd. Gently, she held in between her hands and studied it. She knew she liked things like this and that her mother taught her how to embroider at some point, but trying to dig past that usually lead to headaches and fevers. Still, holding something she had familiarity over for once made her smile. Auransky

featherlegHe paced faster after the object which had flown in the air. He refused to look away for a brief second, it was his drive to get it back that paced him onwards. Yet when a strong breeze blew into affect he slid a bit slowing down to keep his balance. Otherwise he'd topple over and probably hurt himself over something that everyone else may roll their eyes at. He blinked now gazing around trying to figure out where it had gone. T-There! He spotted a figure up ahead then paced in that direction. He was so captivated by the need to retrieve it that he once never considered who it was up ahead. Probably a helper, a knight, or some local. Nonetheless he needed it back. "E-Excuse me.." He called out, slowing his pace until he walked up to the girl who stood before him. His eyes glimpsed off from time to time, she was a beauty alright. But with his mind pre-ocupied he wasn't directly in the moment of who he was addressing. "T-That hankerchief.." He stated softly, his eyes trying to roll away but he kept glancing back as at the girl as a form of common curtsy. "That is of my possession , I lost it to the wind. I-I was wondering if I may-" He fumbled a bit with his words. He didn't want to say give it back directly, he couldn't it sounded rude. Besides her gaze seemed just as lost in it as he was. This was either really good or really bad. He blinked now not knowing what to say nor how to act. This snap back into reality was perhaps the worst way to do so.

Hearing a voice call out directly in front of her, she turned her gaze up to see what she would presume to be one of more recent recruits in front of her. Processing the information and how he was reacting to the situation, she nodded and handed the handkerchief back to him, the smile already vanishing from her face and returning to the more blank and defensive look she usually held. "Here are you. I don't believe we've met due to recent events, but you must be one of the new recruits correct?" Auransky

He dialed Dalton's number, feeling slightly guilty as he did so- after all, Dalton needed his rest, but there was no doubt that they would need everyone here, or at the very least, his insight. Even in his weakened state, he was a brilliant detective. "If only we could leave Dalton in the car to watch over everyone instead," he mumbled, just as soon as Dalton picked up. "Hello?" "Hey Dalton, you're on speaker. Aika is here too, Naomi just left the room. I hate to do this to you, but we have a situation."

"Both Doctor Mori and Agent Calhoun have requested that we re-enter the Swan's Fountain. About two days ago there was a kidnapping at manor of the Cyra family, one of the few remaining contacts and allies the VDA still has within the Arcancis Chamber. The whole family is gone and was taken into the frozen palace almost directly after the kidnapping. We know that one of the members of the family, Oliver Cyra, might still be alive off of a letter we found outside of the palace, but he is the youngest and presumably the weakest since he is not fully trained in defensive magic. As part of the mission, they're requesting we rescue and escort as many of the family members out as possible. However, they are only allowing you, James, and Naomi to enter the facility. There's also one thing I forgot to mention-," She said mainly towards James,"Calhoun's secretary will be joining you all while I observe the camera and radio feeds that will be on your armored suits. Apparently she's extremely well trained for these types of operations. So, what do you think Dalton? Do we accept this?" If we don't, they might turn the whole family, or at least attempt to.Rosestar

His eyes widened in relief as the handkerchief was soon returned to his possession. There was a wide smile that just spoke of joy, and appreciation. "T-Thank you so much, I couldn't even begin to imagine what I'd do if this was-well....out of my eye." He began with a tiny nod. Something changed in her when she returned it; was it her expression, her stance, tone, or all of the above? It wasn't pleasant, rather it was overpowering to an extent. He blinked now putting it away then tilted his head ever so slightly. "I truly do not believe we have met." He agreed with her. "Whether it be our activities, roles, ranks, or just timings ever so off; it truly depends." He added. He crossed his arms at the thoguht, "New recruit..." He softly repeated then softened his gaze, "Something like that-" He stated then nodded once more, "I-I am Rowlin, Willow..." He knelt down out of pure habit. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." He stood back up then backed away with a greeting smile. . featherleg

She nodded back, her eyes only momentarily glancing at the handkerchief before returning to his. "I'm glad it could be returned then. Honestly, I believe that it could be a combination of all of those, but that's just my view." Once he has stood back up, she bowed back in return and then addressed herself. "I'm Princess Aika Hakuryu, the leader of the troops currently here and one of the three spearing head this rebellion to regain power, reign, and peace in my hometown and kingdom that was taken. I apologize for not introducing myself earlier to you or your men, but I thank you sincerely for aiding in these trying times." She then bowed deeply before going back to her original stance. featherlegRowlin nodded, "Aye... this is something most precious, but while precious to me it means to the world to someone else." He shared lightly. "For this I hope to give to the one whom rightly it belongs to." He gazed over at the girl who spoke before him. Her voice serious, and definite. It was clear that she had class; but when she introduced herself he blinked blankly now. She said what I think I herd- He tilted his head ever so slight. "W-Well isn't this quite the most off of meetings. A-Actually no..." He waved a hand to clarify. "It appears that my ....mmmm... luck so to speak has landed me in a rather unique opportuntiy." He next let out a sigh of relief. "So glad this chance meeting is a fair one, and not one demanding for bloodshed." He lightly chuckled, "My-lady there's no need to thank. It's a cause of life and death. It's based on belief for just and peace. And while there are two sides of the coin, my people believe that this was the way to go. So there goes all the people fighting for what is believed to be right by all. So in a way as to whether we have morally agreed, disagree, or are terrified that has no say over the voice of the people." He shared.

A light chuckle escaped from her lips. "Most people I've met within these past few months have been by blade and blood, usually a comboniation of both." Her face seemed concerned for a moment, as if she had remembered something, but then castes it aside. "I'm glad there are people like you to fight alongside with that mindset. I fear not many do, even in this troop." She closed her eyes, her arms crossed on her stomach. "What's even more concerning is our lack of knowledge, both of the enemy and ourselves. You may serve and fight for my cause, and yet you didn't even properly know who I was until now. This cannot happen anymore. If you and the rest of the men here have put in trust in me, I must do the same." Auransky
