I never rped here because I really want apart of it. You guys had your drama and whatnot and I felt like I had to do my own thing. So I never came here, but now I'm just doing a bit with Celous and Nicole

It was another late night. Nicole was trying to get things done, however she found herself just staring at the computer screen with her head in her hands, just wishing that the work would disappear. She loved her job, she really did, but the paperwork, the emails and so on and so forth was driving her nuts! Why couldn't she just spend time with the students? Why couldn't she just be their adviser? But nope, she had to go and accept the job as Dean.
She found her eyes looking over at the doorway, she had left it open again, and a hidden part of her was hoping that Celous would come in again. They had such a nice talk last night while eating the cafeteria's ice cream. Celous got her to open up about Robbie and he even shared some of his stores of the wife he had lost when the twins were born. They talked about their times as students here at the school, all the fights Celous had gotten in and how much Nicole had studied and learned. They probably would've talked til dawn had Cedar not come in talking about Ashton. Celous had to go tend to his son and Nicole ended up going back to her office.

Her work was still laying on her desk, unfinished, and her chair was empty. Nicole's office was closed and locked and it was earlier than anyone would ever expect it to be. Instead of doing the direness of her job she was walking down towards the gym, her mind wondering that maybe Celous would be there.
She could hear someone working out in the weight room when she neared the gynasium and she picked up her step in search of the old fighter, but as soon as she rounded the corner and entered the door frame, she realized he wasn't here. k
Cedar was on the bench with Ashton scouting over him. Both twins looked up when Nicole entered the room.
"Dean North." Ashton was taken back wth surprise, "What are you doing here?"
The dean quickly gained her composure, "I'm looking for your father." She stated calmly, "Where is he?"
"What do you need him for?" Cedar asked putting the weights back down on the rest.
Nicole placed her hand on her hips, "Official business, boys, where is he?"
The twins exchanged a glance, "He actually went off looking for you" Cedar replied as he sat up, "Guess you missed each other."

"If he doesn't find you, he'll just come back here." Cedar stated when Nicole turned to leave, "So it would be better if you just waited for him to come back. instead of searching the whole school for him and him for you."
Nicole let out a sigh and turned around to look at the boys, "Fine."
"So you coming to the big fight this weekend?" Ashton asked suddenly.
Nicole raised her eyebrow as she looked over at the younger twin, the boy shrugged sheepishly, "What? Us Skye's gotta live up to the legacy of our father."
"Problem is Ashton and I might be put against each other." Cedar added with a glance at his brother, "We won't let the North Shadows down though, that we can promise."
"Well I expect one of you boys to bring the gold home." Nicole replied as she crossed her arms, she honestly didn't get out much so might not make it to the fights.
"Of course!" Ashton declared with a laugh, "And it'll be me!"
"Yeah, say that to the concussion you got yesterday." Cedar snorted with a teasing smirk.
"Speaking of which, how are you feeling Ashton?" Nicole asked calmly, "And shouldn't you be resting?"
"Ashton has a hard head, he'll be fine."
Nicole paused hearing the voice come behind her, she turned around and gave a brief smile seeing Celous leaned against the doorframe with his arms crossed, "Celous, you work these boys too hard. I know the fights are important to your family, but academics is important too."
"I have straight A's ma'am." Cedar smiled, "And I'm on the football team too so I think we can honestly say the only thing I'm lacking is a life."
"But you're not lacking a girlfriend." Ashton rolled his eyes, "Although, when is the last time you and Stella hung out? You might lose her if you don't spend some time with her."
"Stella's busy too, she understands." Cedar replied.
"So what can I help you with Miss. North?" Celous asked as he stepped up to the dean while his boys got into a spat. He smiled at her, "Only reason you're down here is cause you need something?"
"Yet you seemed to need something by going all the way to my office?" Nicole replied with a raised eyebrow.
"Guess we both took different elevators." Celous chuckled.
"So what did you need, Celous?" Nicole asked calmly.
The senior fighter shrugged, "Just making sure you're alright Nicole." He replied, "We did get cut off last night..or should I say early morning?"
Nicole smiled and shook her head, "I told your boys I needed you for official business."
"Well then we better go take care of it." Celous nodded, he stepped back and waved his hand towards the door, "Lead the way, ma'am."
Nicole gave a teasing smile before starting out of the weight room.

It was a stroll through the courtyard in the moonlight with ice cream in their hands. Nicole almost felt like she was back in high school as the two of them enjoyed the walk and the quietness of the night. A deep part of her was trying to persuade her that she was betraying Ronnie with the feelings that were fluttering for Celous, but her heard knew that she had grieved over Robbie long enough--for over ten years--and she found herself hoping that maybe she could get back something that was like the relationship she had with Ronnie. She glanced at Celous. He was seasoned fighter, a strong man, and man did he have the muscles to match. They had known each other for years, their meeting Nicole had been distance, cold, and detached because of her grief over her lost fiance and Celous had taken that to heart having never known her reasons, but when he found out he seemed to pull back and the two were antiquates and then slowly became friends. Now here they were walking in the moonlight and the little girl inside of Nicole was hoping their friendship could grow to become more.

Nakita paused when she took a glance at a framed photo on her desk. It was a picture of her and Vernie, when they were still together and happy, with their children. Shaking her head, she put the frame down on the desk, picture facing the desk. Standing up, she turned the lights off in her office and locked the door.
