"That's really cool." Drake smiled at her. He then thought of his own mother who was dead. He looked a little sad but shook his head, tryikg to cheer back up.
Kyle nodded his head, blushing still. "Sure." He said. "I'll see you then." He told her.

"No I'm fine." Drake looked at her. "I was just thinking about my mom. She died a few years ago." He let out a soft sigh.

Kyle knocked on her door. He took a breath. He was wearing khaki pants and a nice shirt. He hopped this date went well. He was been wanting to ask her out for so long.
Drake nodded his head. "Sighing. Yea it was rough." He said. "I'm ok now. I know she's watching me." He looked at her.

Bella had gotten a cone so she had eaten that. She wiped her mouth with a napkin. He was very sweet and really nice. She liked that about him, how open and excepting he was.

Hannah had been lightning quick to text Drake, as he usually did not like calling. The text was short but fearful, after she had gotten a terrifying call.
'Come to Dorms right now, Yvon's been hurt, oh god, just come on.' She texted, eyes misty and mouth quivering as she waited and paced outside the dorm, the car keys in her hand. She then texted the same thing to Blossom, knowing how rough this was going to be.
Yvon had awoken once in the night, when red and white lights blared with loud sirens. His vision was blurry and his jaw was white hot with pain. He moved his head an inch or two to blink blearily as ge spotted...was that Esmerelda? Oh god, the car...he gave a choked and weak whine, trying to move to see if the poor kid was okay, but pain won over as he fell unconcious again, his last sight being the legs of medical teams coming to help the two college students.

Drake opened his mouth to respond when his phone went off. He frowned and pulled it out, reading the text. He paled a little before looking at Bella. "I'm sorry I have to go. My brothers been hurt." He told her. "I'll see you later?" He asked, standing to go.

Hannah paced as she held in her tears. Everything was alright, oh god let it be alright! The surgeon student knew medicine, never feared the worst injuries or pain because she could fix it...but this was family now, it hurt more. She hoped Drake would come meet her soon.
beep. beep. beep.
Everything sounded thick in Yvon's ears, as he shifted from sleep to awakeness. He had an oxygen mask on, an ache in his side and a burning in his jaw. He heard voices above him but was so overwhelmed by the noises that he slipped back into darkness...

Drake headed away from Bella. He headed for the dorms, wondering what was going on. He walked inside to see Hannah. "What's going on?" He asked her. She looked worried so he know this was serious. Oh no not again... He could go through this grief again...

"Hit and Run. Esmerelda and Yvon were walking back from the nearby town, and...and some sick person rammed right into them, and drove away...They're alive but in critical condition, come on, we gotta go to the hospital." Hannah explained quickly, hugging Drake tightly and pulling him towards her car.

Drake just looked at her, feeling a little numb. Yvon was hit by a car? He let Hannah pull him to the car. "Is... Is he gonna die?" He croaked softly to her. He couldn't die... Please don't die.

"He won't. Oh god, please, he won't die, you hear me?" Hannah half prayed half assured her little brother. She had a faraway look in her eyes as she added.
"He's...he's tougher than you'd ever think." She floored on the gas, speeding towards the hospital.

Esmeralda still hadn't woken up, having lost a lot of blood. There was a large gash on her face, covering her left eye.

Drake nodded slightly, sitting in the car. "He won't die..." He trailed off, looking out the window. He closed his eyes, forcing himself to stay calm for Hannah's sake. He could feel his hands shake though. If Yvon died Drake would never forgive himself. The last thing he did to his brother was punch him.

Yvon was pale and down for the count, the doctors working on both him and Esmerelda. He also had an injury to his face, horrible scrapes along his right cheek, and some of his ribs were cracked. His internal bleeding was the critical part though, and it was a race to stabalize them.
Hannah skidded up to the hospital, getting out and calling for Drake to follow her. She frantically entered the hospital and asked where her brother was. She was directed to the hallway and waiting room, as her brother and Esmerelda were in surgery. She sat down, hands on her eyes as she whispered to god to let her brother live.

The doctors started racing around. Esmeralda's heart had stopped, their machines beeping like crazy. The girl was on the edge of life and death, and the doctors were frantically trying to save her.

Drake jumped out of the car, hurrying after his sister into the hospital. He walked into the waiting room before sitting sown next to Hannah. He let out a shakey sigh, looking at her sister. "He'll be ok." He said softly.
Quinn was already sitting in the waiting room, having gotten the call that her sister had been hit as well. Her face was red like she had been crying. She sat with her knees to her chest. She was waiting to hear news about Esmerelda.

Hannah looked at Drake, pulling him close to her as she whispered.
"I know...I know he will...oh, poor Esmerelda too..." She looked over at Quinn, not allowing herself to cry as she spoke gently to Quinn.
"They both will be okay...we have to have faith that they will be saved..."
Yvon's vision blurred in his mind, catching glimpses of his mother and of his father, of Esmerelda too. He thought weakly.
'Fight, girl. Don't...don't give in just yet...'

Drake let her pull him close. He hugged Hannah, hoping and praying his brother would be ok. He closed his eyes, wishing the doctors would tell them some information.
Quinn looked towards Hannah and Drake. "I hope so." She said miserably.
