Tom: Alright. Before I suggest plot, would you be interested in playing a game with or without mechanical constructs, or as star wars calls them 'droids'.)
Sherk: Just gimme a second to write out the water boi)

AI are artificial intelligence. Human-level intelligence, but without a physical body. Their entire existence is digital, unless you wanted to download them into an empty droid-shell, I suppose. The video game series Halo features an AI system, with one of the main AI's being named Cortana.

Sherk: Mikanen - The patron deity of many water elementals and some seafarers, Mikanen is considered to be a huge scaly humanoid with circular dark eyes and long fish-like fins. At the start of the adventure, he's in the form of an elven rogue, standing about 5'6" with shoulder length dark hair and brown eyes. He's equipped with basic clothing and a leather chest-piece and armguards. He doesn't have a weapon to start with, but there's a few small shells in one of his pockets. He's usually fairly relaxed and quiet, as he prefers to go with the flow, but being out of the water is largely distressing and this entire ordeal has left him very suspicious and nervous.

Name: Hwid Gender: Neutral(she/her) Class: Monk Appearance: Hwid has taken the form of a tall female wood elf. Because of course she couldn't be an Aarakocra or something(deep down, she's just thankful she's not a Kenku). As such, looks a lot like your usual wood elf. She has dark coppery skin and dark brown hair. And gigantic ears of course. She's like a rabbit. She wears a sort of mottled brown karate gi usually, with a white belt because she's too cool for black belts. Personality: Hwid is a bit of a brat. That's the first impression most get from her. She's very self-centered, and occasionally a bit immature and petty. She doesn't like to be kept waiting, and really wishes she could still smite mortals. She has mostly only gained followers/worshippers due to false promises to her most loyal. She hasn't delivered on any of those promises yet. Because she's so fickle, she's liable to decide that someone deserves death within a minute of observing them.

Tom: Alright, so let's suggest it's quite normal for people to program and sell/purchase AI, since it's good to have an info database with you as long as you have a power-source on hand. Mechanical constructs, such as droids, are cheaper than AI, and often considered more helpful considering they exhibit similar intelligence and have a physical form. The only advantage (and what makes AI so much more expensive) is their open programing for adaptive knowledge. So lets say someone's AI picks up some information on some schematics that could lead to an entirely new industry of Droid Design. With the AI's owner being quite good at building droids, they test it out and design something that, in the wrong hands, could be dangerous. There are people who want to blank out the AI and destroy the droid, and there are others who wish to either steal the AI's knowledge, or steal the droid and reverse-engineer it.

Sure, Tom. Go ahead and send me a PM with your character, and you can include mini-sheets for your AI and Droid, if you have any. I'll respond with mine, and you can let me know if you want the roll of the Droid Designer, or of someone else.

Mikanen woke to a mix of itchy sand and cold shallow water lapping back and forth as waves lazily drifted up the slope of the beach. He sat up quickly, wet sand stuck in his hair and to both sides of his face. How had he gotten to the shallows? He didn't remember straying from the depths at all. He hadn't even been planning on a trip to the tide pools any time soon, as there had been no prayer or call for him to do so. He stood up, only flopping over again as his weight rested on his legs. That was abnormal to say the least. He should have at least levitated a little in this shallow of water... But instead as he pushed himself up, he noticed the webbing between his fingers was absent. The scales that should have laced the backs of his hands were notably missing as well. He rolled himself over onto his back, looking down at himself. All fins missing and replaced with humanoid feet? Well, he could figure these out, given a fair few minutes. Just a little practice and he'd be walking about like anyone else. What sort of deity couldn't figure out how to use feet?
It took a good ten minutes of rising and falling and hopefully no witnesses before he could stabilize himself on his own two feet. This being done, he realized the ground was far closer than it should have been. He was in a smaller form it seemed. No matter, a week of worship and prayer, and he should have the power to put himself back to normal, right? He began to walk, or more step awkwardly, toward the deeper water. The waves knocked into his knees, though not hard enough to unbalance him. As he reached waist-deep, he felt the familiar lift of the water, able to forget the weight of being on land once again. He ducked under, ready to swim away. Almost immediately after, he broke the surface coughing and spitting salt water. He'd never had this problem before. He'd always been able to breathe beneath the surface. A knot of anxiety formed in his stomach. He couldn't help but feel like something was terribly wrong here.

For the base of the plot, maybe there can be some sort of invading/evil force looking to conquer? I don't know where we'd place our characters though just yet cause I want you to suggest too x3

He'd always been able to breathe beneath the surface. A knot of anxiety formed in his stomach. He couldn't help but feel like something was terribly wrong here. OOC: Haaaa, sorry, I've been busy the last few days. BIC: Hwid awoke quickly, jolting a bit because something was terribly wrong something had happened what she couldn't remember! Her thrashing slowed as that feeling faded mostly, and was replaced by a gnawing dread in the pit of her stomach. She lay there, staring up at the clear, cloudless sky, framed by the long beach grass all around her. Suddenly filled with annoyance, she swatted it away and stood up, slipping just a bit on the loose sand. Luckily for her, her godly form was mostly humanoid(or elfinoid), and she was able to balance on her own two feet. Why was she on the ground? She scanned her surroundings and found that she was on a rather nice beach. More specifically, on the top of a dune. And there was someone else, some mortal, over by the beach. She was filled with annoyance at seeing it. Why was it not here, bowing to the god that could rip away its fragile life with a gust of wind. "Mortal!" She thundered. Or rather, tried thundering. Her mouth was so dry(had it always been this dry?) that her voice came out more of a hoarse squeak. What was happening she would smite the person responsible for this. She growled to herself, then threw herself off the dune, intending to fly down to them. If she could not roar at them, at least she could do an awesome display of powers and frighten them into either worshipping or assisting her. And she did fly-for about a second. She hung in the air, then smacked down face-first into the soft dune sand, and began tumbling down towards the guy on the beach in a rather ungodly manner: with a lot of oofs and cursing.

Smokey - I need a little more to go off than that. That sort of idea can go a lot of ways, and be set in a lot of places/times.
Sherk - I'll try to get a reply up soon. I just got back to working and schoolwork so its a little tiring right now.
