Lionpaw was sitting by the stream, having run from the camp as well, exhausted, his paws sooty, streaks of soot and ash in his usually white and orange pelt, his extremely fluffy tail (it is a glorious tail) spread out behind him, watching the surface of the water.

Rivermoth and Lightningjumper were patrolling near the stream, the brother and sister duo kept their claws unsheathed ready for anything. "Lightningjumper, go check closer to camp." Rivermoth ordered, her brother quickly doing as he was told racing away. The she-cat slowly lifted her nose from the ground as a familiar scent drifted towards her as the crept closer to the stream. The white and orange apprentice caused her to jump as she finally noticed him. "Lionpaw, are you alright?" She meowed slowly making her way to sit beside him.

Adderfall sunk to the ground, his shoulders hunching over into themselves and instead of looking towards his clanmates at the riverside, the tom concentrated on puffing deep breaths of air into his struggling lungs. Squeezing his eyes tight, Adderfall suddenly started to cough and continued to wheeze and shutter until more ash fell on landed onto the ground.

Darkstalker sat down beside him, breathing heavily, as Ravennight rushed over to them, the last of the honeycomb in her jaws." Here.", she said, giving some to Adderfall first, then the rest to Darkstalker." I'm glad you two are here, Grimstar is missing.", she said, worry in her eyes. |

Adderfall accepted the honeycomb from Ravennight and perked up his ears at the she-cats nervous declare on Grimstar's current situation. Slightly coughing one more time, the tom shifted his gaze from the ground back towards the burning forest and then turned his head to meet Ravennight's eyes. "Did anyone see which way he ran?" Adderfall asked slowly, his voice scratchy and broken from the smog.

Sorry for not posting guys. Work got in the way. Anyone who replied to me could you please repost?) Grimstar shoved up when the branch was being moved by both Sagewhisper and the small female. When he had enough space he wiggled free and panted heavily, his body quivering lightly. Grimacing he licked at his rumpled fur before turning to the pair. "Thank you...both of you. Sage are the others safe?" He turned his attention to his clanmate with worried eyes. He hoped everyone had made it out alive, fires were dangerous and when they had to scatter like that it made him worry for the safety of his family. |

Rowanheart let out a snort, ever so subtly leaning his head on his denmate's shoulder. "Yes, I suppose I could," he mused. He smiled softly at that, his tail swishing happily, purring softly, his eyes closed. He was happy to lay there and relax with his denmate, despite the fact that the land around them was practically covered in soot and smoke still hung in the air. Adderfall clicked his tongue in distaste toward what Ravennight told him and curled his tail around himself, closing his eyes to think to himself. Sagewhisper was a capable cat when he wanted to be and the tom didn't doubt that he most likely didn't fall victim to the flames when he left the riverside, but Adderfall wasn't sure if the other found Grimstar or not. Also, it would to dangerous to send a search party out to find the missing cats as the fire still burned and didn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. "I suppose it would be best to keep everyone here right now.." Adderfall thought to himself before opening his eyes and looked back and forth between Darkstalker and Ravennight. "It would be best to stay here for the time being.." He spoke slowly to hopefully get his point across the best he could while his brain recovered from its daze and grimace before continuing. "If Sagewhisper hasn't returned with Grimstar or not by the time the flames have settled, we can send out one search party.."
