Skystar rolled her eyes at the tom. "ANYWAYS," She said. "Everyone stay on your guard. We don't want to be taken by surprise." She hadn't noticed yet that Morningwind was gone.

Bearclaw sat near the entrance of camp, his good ear flicking as there was a faint breeze, his green eyes scanning camp as the cats move around, as he sat watch
Stormpaw was laying in her nest in the camp thinking about her brother. Still trying to get over loosing him she rolled over on her side looking out of the apprentice den with a sigh

Skystar and her patrol were still out by the border, on the guard.
(Who wants to be the fox? I plan on it taking one of Skystar's lives so she only has seven left.)

Bearclaw watch Adderflame burst into camp screaming about a fox, he jumped to his black paws and quickly ran over to him, "where was the scent found?" He asked quickly "was it fresh?" His voice trying to hide the panic
Stormpaw jumped at the word of fox and quickly scrambled to her paw and made her way out of the den into the center of camp

Sundapple flicked an ear, the only physical sign that she was worried by the news. She hoped there was just one, and not any others that might be lurking about. Perhaps they could overpower it by their size in number. "What do we do? " She asked.

Bearclaw shook his head to clear his thoughts to take control of the situation , "we must protect our camp, who's all still in camp?" He asked his voice showing urgency "we must gather all able paws to defend camp if the need arises" then looked at Sundapple "could you figure out who is in camp and gather them?"

(Well, I've actually been thinking about making another character since people have multiple so this seems as good as time as any to make them lol)
Queen- Silverfeather - Female- A small and lithe silver she-cat with dark silver paws. Her eyes are a dark blue.- Quiet and soft-spoken but has a bit of a stubborn streak. She is very protective of those she loves or cares about and wouldn't hesitate to defend them, be it with words or claws.- Her previous mate died of deep wounds that were a result of a border skirmish with the neighboring clan that got too out of paw. She misses him dearly and is trying to move on. - The younger sister to Sundapple and mother to Pepperkit.Surprisingly,she only had one kit in her litter. -Rainsplash
Kit- Pepperkit - Male- A thick-furred silver tom with black flecks all over his pelt.Eyes are a dark brown.- Pepperkit is very enthusiastic and can't wait for the day he can become a warrior, even though that day is far away. Very clever and likes to attempt to sneak out of camp, although not always successful.Is currently 5 moons old. - N/A - Mother is Silverfeather and aunt is Sundapple.-Rainsplash

Silverfeather poked her head out of the nursery, whisker's twitching. There appeared to be something going on and judging by the sense of unease in her belly, it wasn't good.
Pepperkit came to his mother's side, peering curiously outside. "What's going on?"
"I don't know." She replied. "I want you to stay here while I go see."
"But-"
"No buts. Do as I say." She said sternly and left the nursery. She gazed around camp, wondering who she could ask. She saw Stormpaw not too far off and made her way over. "Hello." She mewed. "Do you know what's caused this commotion?"

Wishpaw sensed something was wrong. "Dreampaw, do you feel like something's suddenly off?" she asked her best friend. "Yeah... I wonder what it is..." Dreampaw murmured in reply.

Stormpaw quickly turned to the queen fearing about loosing other clan mates she responded quickly "I heard scent of foxes quickly back to the nursery I'll protect you" her words came out trembling and ushered her back toward the nursery

Silverfeather nodded, about to do just so. She glanced back to the nursery, glad to see Pepperkit had indeed stayed inside but was watching the group of cats with curiosity. Figuring it wouldn't hurt him to come out for a minute, she flicked her tail, beckoning him over.
Pepperkit's eyes brightened happily as he dashed out. In his haste, he nearly crashed into Dreampaw. "Sorry!" He squeaked, taking a step back. "What's going on Dreampaw?"

Hollypaw walked out of the medicine cat den, walking to the other apprentices and sitting,"What's the matter?" she asked, tipping her head. Her heterochromia eyes watching her peers gently, but concerned. Bramblewish padded up to Hollypaw with irritation gleaming in her eyes. "There will be injured cats, you shouldn't fight. We just need to stay near the area with some herbs so after the fight we don't have to run from camp to where the hurt cats are." She explained a bit more gently, her panic subsiding. |

Silverfeather relented. As much as she enjoyed taking care of Pepperkit, she missed being a warrior. Her kit wouldn't be a kit forever and soon she'd be back to her duties. She glanced down to see Pepperkit watching all the bigger cats discussing the situation and his eyes wide in fear. She leaned down and licked one of his ears. "Lets go back to the nursery." She said,guiding him in that direction.

Stormpaw turn to follow Sundapple "I'll stay with you to protect both of you" she said trying to keep her voice from showing how nervous she was about the situation as she followed the two cats
Bearclaw shook his head, "ok we must be prepared if the fox makes it to camp before leaving the territory" his claws flexing as he thought "any ideas?"
