Spiderpaw was licking her tail clean in camp, it had gotten a mud clump in it while she had been hunting and she wa just now getting it properly clean. She heard the call for the clan meeting and raised up, padding closer.

Xenialpaw looked up with her stormy glare, a distant cat she was, sitting alone from the crowd, she was anxious to get back to her den, and spotted the other apprentices, but she didn't do much, only glance at them and back at the leader, Wishstar.

Spiderpaw nodded in approval, being mentored by the leader was a great honor, though the shecat would never prefer it herself. Way to much pressure to act correctly.

Xenialpaw sat with her normal strict stature, she wasn't narcissistic, but she...well...she was just a bit of a loner. Her ears flattened ever so slightly as she watched.

"It went well, I got two mice and a bird!" Spiderpaw bragged, puffing out her chest proudly. As much as she got into trouble she did pride herself in doing a good job on her duties. After all she did have to step up her game now that Specklepaw was leader's apprentice.

"Ok! I'll eat quickly. You want anything?" She asked, already starting to pad over to the prey pile, she loved doing border patrols. Mostly so she could maybe fight off a rouge.

Xenialpaw sighed, flattening her ears as the other apprentices began talking, she held her tongue and went back to her den, sometimes, she got lonely, despite her mentor...she just felt expendable, she was a rogue just days ago, and now she was their medicine cat apprentice, the other cats might not trust her.
