"As you all know this past Moon has been nothing, but death to all of us, but I am glad to say that this plague has finally passed us. Thirty seven of our friends and family have left to join Starclan amongst the stars and I do pray that will be it for quite a few Moons." Bramblestar started looking over what was left of the clan. "Tonight I shall sit vigil at the burial grounds. If anyone wishes to join me they may."
Pitchstar was up in a tree branch watching from a distance. "Oh this makes my life so much easier." He chuckled.

(Welp, I just got my self banned from the old forums. I kindly posted my opinion on the shutdown and they pretty much just gave me a giant a$$ middle finger in response. I was trying to explain why they should stop disabling links to this site and how everyone was gonna lose their friends bcz they can't get linked here. Don't know about either of you, but they just lost all of my respect.)

Rabbitheart looked up at Bramblestar, "I'll join you." He declared calmly. His new home, his new family, almost wiped out in a few moons. It's hard to think about it.
Flinttail looked around, whilst paying respects was the right thing to do, she wondered how many others would?

I was trying to explain why they should stop disabling links to this site and how everyone was gonna lose their friends bcz they can't get linked here. Ashfur stood up and Tigerwillow joined her. "We'll join you as well."
Stormshade stood up and gave a small nod.
Bramblestar smiled and nodded to everyone who announced they'd join him. "Then tonight we shall sit our vigil as a clan. All of us. Dismissed." He announced leaping down from Sunrock.

Elkstride || Dusk || Camp
Elkstride gazed up at Bramblestar from his spot close by Sunrock, feeling exhaustion seep into his bones. Thirty-seven. The number hit him hard, and as the deputy of the clan he felt powerless to stop the onslaught of disease as it struck the clan, unforgiving and restless. So many clanmates he cared deeply about gone, just like that. Although, he was thrilled that the sickness spared Cedarspark, and the clan had a few medicine cat, Ashfur. He briefly glanced towards hi brother, who sat close by Coyotetuft, a somber expression upon his face.
The tom almost offered to go with Bramblestar, but sided against it, figuring that he should stay at camp in case something happened to go wrong. |

I bet the real reason behind the shutdown is bcz Harper Collins was done paying the money for a barely used website. Kind of like mmorpgs like how Disney closed Pirates of the Carribean Online, Toon Town, and Pixie Hollow.) |

(Technically speaking your breaking the rules by posting links, but I don't even care anymore. I'm only furious because I was using those last two days to hopefully get in touch with one more friend, but nope.)
Bramblestar made his way towards the burial grounds and Ashfur and Tigerwillow followed behind him.
Stormshade stayed behind and watched the cats who went to follow the leader.

Rabbitheart followed behind everyone, feeling slightly it off place despite being the first to say that he would sit. 'It's so strange.' he thought, 'So strange that so many of us have gone.'. he looked forward, all the more reason to remember them, for who they were, and what they achieved for us.
Flinttail padded quickly behind the first cats, her usual excitable expression buried deep within her. She looked almost dead herself, expressionless, blank. She was always happy, and now she is not.

(Alright, I have to head out now. I got a 5 hour drive I have to take out of state. I'll try to get on later hopefully.)
Bramblestar stopped and sat down in the center of the burial ground. He'd witnessed the slaughter of a clan before, but this was one that couldn't have been prevented.

--- [ Elkstride, & Cedarspark || Dusk || Camp ]Elkstride watched as their new leader left for the burial grounds, followed by Ashfur, Tigerwillow, Rabbitheart, and Flinttail. He almost considered calling out to the medicine cat and asking him to stay at camp, but decided against it. Everyone needs their time to grieve.
The deputy turned and watched the remainder of the cats that stayed for the time being, Stormshade, Coyotetuft, his brother, and a few stragglers. His chest felt heavy as he thought back on Bramblestar's speech, still flabbergasted at just how many clanmates they lost within the last moon. They lost more than half the clan, and even then they were still rebuilding! It was insane!
Momentarily shaking himself out of his shocked state, he decided to speak up before Bramblestar fully left, "I'll make sure to keep the clan safe!"

Bramblestar had given Elkstride a nod in thanks for watching the clan before heading to the burial grounds.
Ashfur padded over next to Rabbitheart and sat down leaning against him. "It's been a week since I've noticed any more symptons of this plague. I hope I was right when giving my brother okay to tell the clan it was over." She sighed and leaned against Rabbitheart wrapping her tail around him.
Stormshade glanced around making sure she wasn't being watched and slipped out of camp. She made her way to the river and sat down at the bank lapping up some water.
A small dark chuckle echoed from behind Stormshade and out of the shadows padded Pitchstar. "Well, well. How is my favorite niece doing?"

Rabbitheart leant into Ashfur, "You are right, I hope you know that." he whispered. "There's been nothing for a moon, thanks to you." he said. He wrapped his tail around her.
Flinttail remained motionless, only looking at the ground.

Ashfur smiled and gave a quick sigh. "I want to talk to you tomorrow when the vigil is over. Theres something I've been meaning to tell you."
Bramblestar blinked looking over to where he had burried Foxflame. Tigerstorm sat next to him following his gaze. "I know it wasn't the plague that took him, but it still feels like it."
Stormshade stopped mid lap of the water and turned around to face Pitchstar. "I'm your only niece flea bag."
"Now, now darling. Theres no need to be rude." Pitchstar smiled sitting next to Stormshade. He glanced down at the water to look at his reflection, but only saw Stormshade's.
Stormshade followed his gaze and sighed. "Your worse than Tigerstar and Scourage put together. Why don't you just tell me what it is you want now and get it over with." She growled.
"Why, I want step two of course. I want you to take out Ashfur." Pitchstar meowed. "It would make the clan quite vunerable. And I'd prefer you do it quick. I would hate to have you kill kits."

(I'll keep under control until Pitchstar decides to steal my computer. XD)
Bramblestar laid down and stayed vigil until dawn began to arise. When it did he sat back up to address the clan. "Let the fallen never be forgotten." He meowed before beginning his way back to camp.
Stormshade raised an eyebrow and looked back at Pitchstar. "She's baring kits?"
Pitchstar lapped up some water. "You don't have a problem with that do you?"

Rabbitheart stood up slowly. He sighed, "It's been a while since I last sat vigil, and I don't miss it, but I do miss them." he sighed once more, then he looked at Ashfur, "I don't want to sit anymore, I don't know if I want to lie down." he paused, "I don't know what to do...." he looked down. "I don't know anymore...."
Flinttail stood up sharply, 'vigil's over, now we need to think of the clan! Hunting! We need to hunt' she thought quickly. She walked, excitedly, back to the camp. 'Maybe someone wants to come with.'

Tigerwilow blinked as Flintail ran off and followed after him. "Hey, what put you in a good mood?"
Ashfur nuzzled Rabbitheart a little worried for him. "You could be a father." She meowed looking up at him.
Stormshade blinked and glanced back to the river and stared at her reflection. "You questioning my abilities?"
"That's my girl." Pitchstar meowed swiping his tail over Stormshade's muzzle.

Rabbitheart looked at Ashfur, "I know." He meowed. "I know my herbs and I know my medicine. But most importantly, I know you." He wrapped his tail around her. "And yet I still don't know what to say..." He paused, no words came out. He was in deep thought, "I... Love you." He meowed.

"Good mood?" Flinttail questioned. "Not a good mood." She meowed, "But a determined one!" She ran into the camp. "Anyone want to go hunting?" She asked at the empty area. A waft of sadness surrounded her. 'It's empty... They've died...' she thought. She shook away the feeling.

Ashfur smiled and nuzzled Rabbitheart. "I love you too. I love you more than the sun, the moon, and the stars." She meowed backing off to look him in the face. "When I said you could be a father you understand I'm telling you I'm pregnant right?"
Tigerwillow smiled and gave a nod. "I'll join you." He meowed to Flinttail following her gaze to the vast emptiness of the clan.

Rabbitheart looked back at Ashfur "Of course." He meowed, slightly confused. "Why wouldn't I think that?" He asked. "I've done medicine cat things before, I've told you that." He meowed. "But this is fantastic!" He exclaimed softly. He looked ahead, "Let's get back to camp, is more comfortable there."
"Okay then, let's leave." Flinttail meowed very quickly as she immediately left and ran off into the woods.

"Okay, I wasn't sure. Not thinking straight." Ashfur smiled and gave Rabbitheart a lick on the cheek. "Probably a good idea. Let's get going."
Tigerwillow ran after Flinttail and followed her into the woods. "Hey Flinttail. Remember to check what you catch. We don't want any accidents after what just happ..." His voice came to a halt as he slammed into something and fell to the ground.
Stormshade fell to the ground and groaned laying there stunned. "Why don't you watch where your go..." She blinked when she realized she had run into Tigerwillow. "Oh, I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention."

Rabbitheart walked back to camp, unsure how to stand. He half leant into Ashfur, embracing her warmth, but half stood up, letting her lean into him. He didn't know what to say, he didn't know what to do. He didn't know anything. So he walked.
Flinttail called back "Ashfur was pretty clear on what to..." She stopped as Tigerwillow stopped. She turned around and saw two cats, dazed and not on their feet. Flinttail laughed at the scene. "Both of you should watch out!" She called. Then she looked at Stormshade, "What are you doing here?" She inquired.

(Your fine. Glad you like the idea of the clan. It's a remake of Mountain's clan from the old forums.)
Ashfur stopped by the Medicine Cat den when they reached the camp. "Do you think you know enough enough to help the clan out while I'm resting wben the time comes? If you need help Bramblestar knows a little bit about medicine from when we traveled here to Auroraclan."
Tigerwillow stood up and shook himself off. He rolled his eyes at Flinttail and looked over at Stormshade. "Same question."
Stormshade shook herself off and stood up. "I left the clan to get some fresh air." She meowed sitting down licking her paw and running it over he forehead.

Flinttail accepted Stormshade's answer, briefly. "Ah right. So, how long have you been out here?" She asked, hiding her interrogation.
