Jaggedclaw was grooming himself when he suddenly heard his name being called. The white tom stopped grooming himself and listened to the rest of what Brightstar was saying. He stood up, stretching as he padded out of the corner where he had been grooming himself. Jaggedclaw headed over to the entrance of camp to wait for the rest of the patrol to gather.

Ebonypaw eyed the other cats, and walked over to Jaggedclaw, "That's a lot of young cats for this patrol, I think you would be in charge, even if your younger then Skyfall and Iciclepelt," she pointed out, waving her tail bye to her brother, Ivorypaw and sitting beside Jaggedclaw while they waited for the other cats.

Thymekit smiled as Brightstar appeared, and looked at her mother, excitedly pointing,"Mama, wook!" she meowed in a rather cute voice, the fluffy bundle of fur rolling over with a laugh as she looked at her mother, Sharpfang.

Xenialpaw sat in the medicine cat den, silently naming off herb from the top of her head, "Goldenrod, Thyme, Poppy, Horsetail, Marigold and goldenrod poultice..." she meowed, "Poppy seeds are used to help a cat sleep, whats burdock root for?" she wondered aloud.

Jaggedclaw gazed at the apprentice. As the two cats waited for the rest of the patrol to gather, he thought about the young cat's comment. He felt proud that Ebonypaw thought that he should be the leader of the patrol though he wasn't the most experienced warrior in the group.

Sharpfang turned her head towards the entrance of the nursery at her kit's exclamation. The queen spotted Brightstar standing at the entrance of the den. "Hello, Brightstar," Sharpfang meowed, "Thymekit is excited to see you." The queen purred, looking at Thymekit. Her energetic kits sometimes wore her out, though she greatly loved them.

Swiftcloud yawned, flexing her claws. I'm bored, she thought, curling her tail around her paws. She gazed around the camp, looking for something that might end her boredom. As the gray she-cat's eyes drifted by the warriors' den, she spotted Finchfall grooming himself nearby. Swiftcloud got to her paws and padded over to where the other warrior was grooming himself. "Hello," she meowed.

Swiftcloud sat down next to Finchfall. "I'm doing well," she answered, "How about you?" Swiftcloud tilted her head.
