Snakefrost fell into step behind him, surprised by how relaxed he was. He usually had a hard time socializing with his clanmates, having been an outcast as an apprentice. He'd only recently decided to come out of his shell, believing being confident was the way to do it. It seemed to work for Windseeker atleast. "Oh, yeah," he spoke, being pulled out of his thoughts. The memory made him chuckle slightly as he recalled how exciting it was to watch the warriors carry the rabbits into camp. "I would've killed to be a part of that patrol," he purred. "What are the odds of us finding a nest full of 'em now?"

Darkheart silently opened his eyes at the sound of a cat stirring. He watched as Milkblossom stood up and left the camp down the steps. He slowly got up and followed her out, sticking close to the lingering shadows of the night. What was she doing up at this time of night? He weaved in and out of the trees, staying close enough to see where the she-cat was going.
[ Rp: ] Milkblossom thoughtfuly looked at the fresh kill pile, What should I have today, I think a mouse will do. She thought to herself as her eyes landed on a plump mouse. She grabbed it from the pile and decided to eat her breakfast in the sun, she sat down and the sun instantly started to warm her fur. She took a bite, not noticing Darkheart following her. There were a few cats in the clearing but the dawn patrol must be out, she took another bite and smiled; the mouse was satisfying on her tongue. |

Darkclaw waited until she had sat down before emerging from where he had been watching her.
"You're up early." He commented calmly. The tom wrapped his tail around his paws as he sat down and looked at Milkblossom. The first patrols we're just starting to stir, normally cats slept later then this warrior was.

[ Rp: ] She nodded her head in greeting, "Goodmorning." She mewed with a soft purr, "I couldn't sleep." She took another bite of her prey as the tom sat down next to her, she stared off into the distance as she remembered why she couldn't sleep. She had a nightmare about the flood, she was so scared she though she was going to die; there was so much water in her lungs.
She shook her head, thats the past. "What are you doing up early?" She asked the tom.

She was slightly hungry, but knew that she should hunt for her Clan first. Taking a few pawsteps forward, Tawnyfur wondered whether or not there were any hunting patrols going out. Maybe she should just go out and hunt on her own for a bit. |

Darkheart flicked his ears forward as he listened to her reason for being up. She seemed distance and he fought down a curiousity to push for her reasons. The tom yawned.
"I'm awake because you woke me up." He replied in an even tone. The tom wasn't trying to rude, but it was the only reason he was up right now.

[Hello! I'm pretty eager to jump right into the clan, so I'll just put a starter up and see who wants to join me. I hope you all are having a wonderful day!]
Featherpaw stretched her legs and rose from her nest in the medicine den. At the moment, no cat was seriously in need of her help, and since it was a fairly nice day out, she decided she might as well go collect some herbs. Catmint was running low, and she knew how crucial it was to keep the clan through leaf-bare.
She padded down the tree and into the main camp clearing, looking around. She didn't want to be completely alone when she collected supplies- two mouths could carry a lot more than just one.
She tried to spot a cat who didn't look too busy to help her as she padded toward the fresh-kill pile.

Tawnyfur noticed Featherpaw sitting, and waved her tailtip at the she-cat, padding over. "Morning, Featherpaw!" She mewed. Featherpaw cheerfully waved her tailtip in response as she meowed, "Good morning, Tawnyfur! Are you busy at the moment? I could use some help!" |

"I'm free!" Tawnyfur purred, smiling. The tawny she-cat shifted her paws slightly, before continuing. "What do you need help with?" Featherpaw's eye lit up as she replied, "Awesome! I was about to go collect some herbs. Smallily has been working really hard lately-" Featherpaw looked back at the tree-"and I would love to surprise her by replenishing our stock! Right now, it seems we need catmint the most, and maybe some dock." She took a glance at the fresh-kill pile after she finished speaking, then added on,"you could probably find a couple pieces of prey, too, if we're lucky. Have you eaten yet?" |

[ Rp: ] Milkblossom finished her food, she was now licking her paw and running it over the top of her head. She hesitated when the tom told her she had woken him up, She avoided his gaze and licked her chest fur in embarrassment. "Sorry" She mewed giggling slightly, see that the tom wasn't angry she had nothing to worry about. Once her fur was flattened to her liking she raised to her paws and stretched, she looked over at the tom and mewed, "Would you like to join me on a hunting trip?" Her blue eyes lit up with dappled sunlight. |

Tawnyfur shook her head. "No, I haven't eaten yet. I'm going to hunt for the Clan first." The she-cat smiled, as she got to her paws, from her previously sitting position. "And I can definitely help you search for herbs!" "You're a true warrior!" Featherpaw smiled, "Thank you so much for your help! I think there should be some catmint near the pond. Would you like to start there? I bet some prey will be out getting a drink as well- it's gorgeous out. Nobody could resist being out in this weather!" She stretched, enjoying the sun, before straightening up in preparation of the day ahead of her. [Edit: I think this double posted, oops. I deleted the second one.] |

I always feel bad using mobile apps.] Featherpaw padded behind Tawnyfur, feeling good about the morning. Once she spotted the prey up ahead, she felt a little too sure of herself and whispered, "I'll go for one of the mice there!", trotting quickly ahead to a spot she could begin to stalk them. She crouched, padding silently.. until she stepped on a twig, alerting the mice to her presence and destroying all hopes she had at being anything resembling a good hunter, "I think I'll stick to herbs," she whispered as she meekly gave Tawnyfur space to perform her own hunting attempt. |

Tawnyfur smiled at Featherpaw. "It's okay." She whispered reassuringly, before getting into a hunting crouch. She edged forwards slightly, before springing upwards, and through the bushes, hitting straight onto one of the frogs. Bringing it back through the bushes, she glanced back. The rabbit was still there, not having been scared off, by some miracle. "Should I go for it?" She whispered to Featherpaw. Featherpaw nodded excitedly as she whispered, "Go for it, Tawnyfur! No harm in trying! I'll bury the frog for later over here." She pointed her tail to the frog and began to back away so Tawnyfur could go for the rabbit, and watched closely. Maybe she could pick up some hunting skills by watching it be done correctly! |

(Cool. Oh also one more question, who will be Owlpaw's mentor?) Owlpaw lay sprawled out in front of the apprentices den, his tail swishing lazily back and forth. The tom was enjoying the sun on his pelt, savoring the peaceful moments before he was told to go on hunting patrol, or on border patrol, or go clean out the elder's den. __________________ Rainwind stirred in her moss nest, opening one eye to look around before opening the second. She yawned widely as she struggeled up, her hind leg stiff from lack of movement. Shaking off the clumps of moss stuck to her pelt, she wandered outside to sit in the sun, her face turned towards the warmth. __________________ Mintstream sat watching the camp, her blue fur gleaming in the sunlight. Her eyes focused on everything and nothing, drifting from one cat to another. She yearned to go out on hunting patrol, but she had no idea who to ask, so she resigned to sitting at the edge of the clearing for the moment. |

CinderBrook[Hello!! I'd like to RP with Owlpaw, if that's alright with you!] Wildpaw yawned and stretched as he opened his eyes. The sun was very warm, and he counted this as a blessing. Prey would be easy to find today, if he got assigned to it. He thought about battle training as well, wondering if anyone would be up for some practice. He padded out of the apprentices' den and stopped at the entrance once he caught sight of Owlpaw, bathing in the sun. "Hey, Owlpaw. What are you up to? Has anyone assigned work to you yet?" Sparkly Featherpaw padded up to Tawnyfur, smiling, "Great catch, Tawnyfur! You're amazing! At this rate, we'll have to make two trips!"- she pointed her tail toward the frog, hidden under some dirt-"I've started to put the frog here, if you want to go ahead and add the rabbit. I wish I could hunt like that!" Featherpaw was so happy, Roseclan had some amazing cats!

"Nope." he mewed cheerily in answer to the other toms questions, "I've just been enjoying the sun before someone comes to tell me what to do." he explained further, rolling onto his belly and digging his claws into the earth. |
