Hornetwing leaned his head back against the rough bark of the tree trunk in contentment and breathed heavily out of his nose with a sigh. The tom slumped further against the tree, looking up to watch the trees leaves sway throughout the breeze and closing his eyes against the blinding sun overhead. His whiskers twitched in irritation as the breeze tickled his muzzle and turned his head downwards away from the wind. Hornetwing's eyes turned to his sisters laying form to his left side and watched her shift in between sleep every other minute and fidget trying to find a comfortable way to lay. Recently, Morningstem hasn't been sleeping all that well and he could tell that it was really wearing her out by now. The tom just hoped that he could help her in any way soon.

Hornetwing turned his head when he heard the she-cat set toward the bottom of the tree and nodded his head at her greeting. He curled his tail away from where it laid over his paws to drape over Morningstem's own front paws and close to her eyes to act as a barrier from the sun. Closing his eyes again, Hornetwing considered quietly in is head what Flarestorm said before speaking up lowly. "It is. But, Morningstem was to tired to make it towards the dens. So here we are."

Mistdream shook her head. "No. I think this is a one cat job." she said, not to be unkind. In reality, the warrior might just get in the way. It would be much quicker and cleaner if she just carried everything up. Plus, she didn't want to inconvenience Pearcloud, not after Mistdream forgot about the tail. The medicine cat felt like she had to be extra nice to make up for it. "I'll carry up the stick." She said biting the stick.

Owlpaw lay stretched outside of the apprentices den for the second time that day; following his successful hunt with Wildpaw. He didn't feel the pressing need to fulfill his roles, as no one had come to tell him off. So instead he dozed happily in the dappled sunlight, his mind clear and worry free. >> Ooc << >> RP <<
Goldendawn had just got back from a patrol, he entered the camp and looked around at all the cats, Hornetwing and Flamestorm sat talking by the base of the tree, while Mistdream talked with Pearcloud, it looked like she had a good harvest. The tom smiled, only to frown when his eyes spotted Owlpaw, the tom was dozing off in some dappled sun, He padded over to the tom, blocking the sun from the toms fur, He cleared his throat, It wasn't like there was any danger threathening Roseclan at the moment, he didn't blame the tom for lounging around but there is still a lot of things that need to be done. “It was fine.” He replied. At her teasing, Oakfrost rolled his eyes and hit her side with his tail. “The squirrel darted into a bush and I wasn’t about to let it get away!” He defended with a small chuckle. The warrior picked out one of the small sticks in his fur and tossed it to the side. “I’m just glad it wasn’t a bush with thorns... I got lucky.” He added with a small sigh of relief before flopping over to his side. Mintstream laughed, "I suppose you did." She turned to look back around the camp again, her eyes lighting up with amusement before she mewed "But I think I could have caught it before it got into that bush." The warrior flicked her tail against Oakfrost's ear to show that she was only joking. |

"Oh, hello Goldendawn" his jaws spread in a large yawn and he sat up to face the warrior, "Is something wrong?" The young tom knew that he was going to be told not to lounge around, but he wanted to stall for time. Plus, it wasn't like he could get in any real trouble. |

(Hi I’m back  ) Flamestorm gave Morningstem a small look of pity as Hornetwing explained what had happened. “Oh...” She mumbled. The she-cat paused, giving a thoughtful look as she seemed to be considering something her head. “Is she having trouble sleeping? Or just tiring herself out? Either way you should have her talk to Mistdream. Maybe she can help her with something. Plus I just saw that she got back from doing whatever.“ She advised with a shrug. Pearcloud blinked and gave a small nod. “Oh ok.” She said before handing the stick over to Mistdream. She took a few steps back to let the medicine cat leave but paused and gave her a reassuring smile. “Uh, if you every need help with collecting stuff or something again, I’ll be around!” Pearcloud meowed before turning and beginning to pad off. She liked being able to help out in more ways than just hunting and fighting. |

Mintstream rolled onto her side, resting her head on the ground and looking at the other warrior. Laughing softly at Oakfrost's remark, "I was out fishing this morning," she gave her paw a quick lick, "which requires more skill than catching a squirrel, if you ask me." ( brambleflight) |

Wishpaw padded in a random direction. She was bored. She waited for her mentor, messing with some grass for no reason. Her fur was rumpled, but she didn't seem to notice. She was too preoccupied with the grass. Her almost-yellow eyes were intent on the grass.

"There's nothing wrong." The tom mewed, "It time for some training." He smiled, flicking his tail back and forth. Goldendawn had been neglecting his duty to train his apprentice. It been so busy the past few days, he looked around camp, seeing who else would like to go train with them. He spotted Pinepaw and Honeyshine, he padded over to Honeyshine and mewed, "Hey Honeyshine would you like to take Pinepaw training with us? He flicked his tail towards Owlpaw, He noticed Wishpaw's mentor was out, while the she cat called to her apprentice she called over to Wishpaw, "Wishpaw!"
Honeyshine dipped her head in greeting, she had just finished her meal when Goldendawn came over. She looked around the clearing for Pinepaw, once the apprentice was spotted she called over to her, "Pinepaw come over here!" She smiled at the tom, awaiting the apprentice's appearance. |

"Thank you for all your help." The medicine cat said around the stick. She would have dipped her head if not for the fear of getting dirt on the cobwebs. She watched Pearcloud leave with a small smile. Once the she-cat was out of ear shot, she sighed. Being with other cats was a new thing for the previous loner. She couldn't help to relax whenever she was alone. Then again, being around other cats was new for most of her clanmates. She just seemed to struggle with it more. The interaction with the warrior, no matter how short, was a good step for the she-cat. The medicine cat wanted to make sure she spoke with her clanmates and bonded. She wanted for everyone to feel comfortable with her. She sighed again. She had a long way to go. With that thought, Mistdream turned and started to walk up the stairs and hoped none of her clanmates were on them. Her and the stick took up most of the space.
