Heh yeah most of the hard ones as you said I'm going to try metaphoring my way out of. maybe you could use the definition instead of the word? tbh when I first thought of your world and pier, I thought of Ceto making a bridge out of water. Either for herself or for other cats to look out upon. Showing them how she lives/suffers, or maybe out of necessity to take them away from some sort of land trouble like a fire. hopefully that can give you a little bit of an idea? or at least inspiration. A bridge out of water...interesting. :'O I jotted down a few things at work. Thinking of a pier and its function. It is a bridge from land to sea, from one world to another. A pier anchors itself and it is also a place for people to gather and fish. It's something that hold itself over the water but hangs from the land. Thanks Brownie. ^^'

adding you guys thanks ^-^
and np I just saw that and that's the first thing that popped into my head. luckily for my plot, I can just have a normal pier and it'll work as a setting easily xD

only one more day of waiting folks! get hyped!
Pretty sure I'm going to do Lucy's tale first; she's a great intro to how this world works and where it walks the line between realism and more a sci-fi/techy

will do ;D mine will be titled the prompts, so it shouldn't be hard.
and an announcement for everyone: technically I have three of these done, but I'm going through the reading/editing phase to make sure everything's just the way I need them to be. I've been just throwing down words, and honestly my first drafts made little sense. They'll be posted when they're done. I like one of them kinda hate one that one's still in huge amounts of edit. I'm thinking of splitting it up into two because it's so. so. long. and actually pretty plotless, since it's a backstory. rippppp I love the third. I don't even have characters it's just to random cats, a first person narrator and a second person other. They are nameless, colorless, genderless. I don't even know how I want to make them, or if I want to give them names at all (I actually wish I can leave it ambiguous, and clear it up in another short when they look back on the past might do thatttttt) But I might get points off for character even if these are probably my two more relatable
The hardest part is choosing which one to put to each prompt, since most of them can work with multiple. But I know it's important, because maybe this one is a tie with Tidepools and Pier, but maybe the other one is Pier and Sharks but then I can't find something to go with Sharks if I chose that one Tidepools and Pier and you guys catch my drift.
