Greetings, Hello! I'm Momiji, but you can call me Momo if you'd like to use a shorter name. Or Nerf, since that's my display name and most people go off of one's display name for a nick-name. All of which, I sincerely do not mind in the least bit. So I've felt a bit bored as of late and I feel like making a one on one role-play with a bit of a cool plot, you know? And we've all had these moments where we're inspired to make a plot based off of a song that we're listening to, right?
The title of this thread is called "Shut Eye" which is a song by a band called Stealing Sheep. I don't know why I like this song so much, but it's pretty good. I saw an animatic with this song and kind of got inspired by it. So, this plot was made!
All I ask is that you are advanced with your writing. I like pushing my limits and making myself think about a reply. I like writing paragraphs upon paragraphs. If you think you can post at least six or more paragraphs per reply, I honestly will be super happy. But I also want you to be able to be here, be a bit active and don't leave me hanging, you know? LGBTQ+ characters are completely allowed for this, I'm all for it!
-------- Plot Character A has made a rather bad mistake. They have made a deal with the devil herself. Pulled in by the enchantress herself and pressured by those around her that had already made deals, Character A was forced in on trading their soul and being by her side for all of eternity, and in return they would be practically immortal and never aging with a new power. However, with this ability, suspicious people turn frightened and mysterious people generally are feared even more, thought of to cause all the problems. It doesn't take long for Character A to become a wanted criminal for things that they haven't even done.
In this universe, when around your soul-mate, you have dreams of them and see bits and pieces of events that have happened to them or that are happening to them. Especially if they're awake when you're asleep. The farther away they are, the small the snips of visions of them and the more blurry and black and white it is. The closer you are to them, the more vivid the dreams (and nightmares) and the more in color of them. When you finally meet them, your dreams are able to be fully in color and your dreams turn black and white again when they die.
Character B is a simple person, living their life how they wish. Peaceful, gentle. And then this mysterious stranger comes into their shop one day. Character B is intrigued, curious about this person. Their clothing styled seems vaguely familiar, like a dream. When they here Character A's voice, however, they both kind of freeze and just look at each other. The other had been in their dreams for practically all their life.
However, the Enchantress herself wouldn't want one of her dogs straying form her pack. And while bonding with Character B, Character A tells of the red-haired female with amber eyes, to beware her and to not trust her or make any deals, no matter what. If not given a deal with the Devil herself, her temper can control those of her loyal "pack".
Werewolves exist, you know. And they have a master whom they have to obey and can't think away from, since she holds the leash; their souls. We can go from wherever, but I'd just like to use this plot.
Character A: Snow Zieglar Character B: Mae Darling
-------- characters โ Snow Zieglar Forever stuck at the age of twenty-four, Snow, despite his name being quite so strange, is a rather softer male that fits his name well. Pale skin that never seems to color with a splash of lightly tanned freckles across his face graces his features that make him seem frail and soft. He has icy blue eyes that can stare right through you and very light, pale blonde hair that's soft and feathery, being trimmed vaguely medium-short in length. He's very skinny and fit, standing at five foot eight, though he seems rather frail due to his small frame and smooth features. Long eyelashes are a part of his features that make him seem almost like a porcelain doll. As a wolf, upon a full moon or his Enchantress' wishes, Snow will turn into a white-furred horse-sized canine with the same piercing blue eyes and fur soft and feathery.
โ Mae Darling Mae is a short woman of twenty-three, standing at about 5'3. She is thin and has an athletic build from being a dancer since she was little. She has long light brown hair that falls in a mess of tiny ringlet curls to about the middle of her back. Her eyes are a pale grey/blue color and are surrounded by a thick pair of lashes. Of course they aren't really hers. She wears a decent amount of makeup but she tried to make it look like she isn't exactly wearing all that much. Of course her lashes are a must. She doesn't always wear it though there are more than enough times when she goes without, she just looks a little younger with more of a baby face. She hates her baby face because she says "it makes her look twelve" but its not that extreme.

Snow Zieglar "The world seems to be in motion, yet it's still frozen." - x -
Portland, Oregon. Nothing would really normally draw the pale doll-like male to the city. But for some reason, he'd been drawn to it under a small gut feeling, a whim. For the past twenty-three years, there have been these... dreams. Snow could never explain it, it was like watching someone else's memories from childhood to adulthood. He'd get a landscape down and be curious enough to try and find it, but never really could. Now, stepping to this area... it all felt natural, almost. Like this was the place that he had finally found.
Just how old was this young man? He'd lost track, in all honesty. He'd seen the end of World War II, that was about the time that he had met the Enchantress. Due to the internal clock stopped for him however, Snow was forever twenty-four. Birthdays no longer held any meaning for him and he didn't keep track of his age. All he knew was that he was always twenty-four years old.
Taking in a deep breath, breathing in the scent and stepping off the bus, the male pulled down the hood over his head, digging his nose into the red scarf around his neck and lower part of his face. He usually kept himself hidden upon walking around, making a name for himself without ever meaning to. He'd learned to be a shadow to the world, disappearing in plain sight.
He'd gone to school for medical training once upon a time and still held the knowledge, but due to his age never changing, Snow couldn't exactly go around claiming he was a school while only the age of twenty-four and expect people to believe him. Not much use came to his medical knowledge due to being hunted constantly and always blamed for things he's never done. For so long, he'd been the scary stranger that performed some sort of black magic or whatever else the people had come up with.
Maybe he'd visit the Japanese Garden first, always having a soft spot for nature. His icy blue eyes scanned over the city that was within his view and shoved his hands in his coat pocket. It was a colder day, but even so, it was the summer and he was wearing a coat and scarf. True, these were special clothing articles that kept him both warm and cool when needed. Snow let out a soft sigh and started to head down to the Japanese Garden, being one of the known things in this city.
Once there, something made him stop a little. Somehow, there was a outline of a person. Something about the color of her hair and her figure made him a little puzzled. He felt like he knew her but... he always distanced himself and didn't get close with anyone. After all, he would live practically forever. It'd be painful to get to know someone and to just watch them slowly die and age as he stood there, forever as a twenty-four year old.

(You are so good!) (Lets hope I can match up to you hehe, its been a while!)
Looking out her window the sun was out, but covered by clouds, as per usual. She had grown up in this city her whole life, knew it like the back of her hand. Right now it seemed like it was going to be a bit on the colder side, so she would put on a thin cardigan. The girl wore a short pale blue dress with white lace detailing. It was a halter top but that was covered by the cardigan mostly since is was about the same length. Her hair was down and wild as usual, she had tried to tame it a bit so her curls were that of perfection, they were just everywhere. At least she had tried. Grabbing her bag she went to the door, she didn't really have too much time before work so she would just go and be there early. Maybe that would mean she was going to get out early.
Stepping out of the door she took a deep breath, the woman was ambushed by the scent of flowers. She didn't live too far from the gardens, in fact it was basically right behind her home. Mae began walking again, work wasn't too far from her. Plus she just enjoyed walking places. Even if it was a bit of a mission. She wore her white knock off vans shoes today before she knew she was going to walk. Of course Mae had a car, what twenty three year old didn't? But she choose to leave it maybe she would use it to go somewhere farther after work and go back and get it. As she stepped out on to the side walk and image flashed across her eyes, it was that guy again.
She had seen him for so long, basically as long as she could remember. But who was he? He had stayed the same age too since childhood. This time his image was clearer than before, usually it was someone near him, something blurred near by or a really blurry image of him. But this time the image was only slightly blurred, she could see him a bit clearer than she had even seen him. But it was just the back, nothing super identifiable but still something she knew well. Now, around him it looked like the Japanese gardens. The woman worked in one of the cafes in there it was close and she made good money there. Mae snapped out of her thoughts and pushed the images away, she had to get to work. Quickly she made her way to the cafe and put on her work uniform. Which really was just her apron. It was odd for things to be so lax, but she enjoyed being able to wear what she wanted.
As she got ready she could see bits of flowers, but she was inside. And away from the ones she could see, so close she could almost touch them.
"Mae!" The voice came from behind her, it was Laura one of the girls she worked with. "Snap out of it girl, whats wrong with you this morning? Its not even ten minutes into your shift."
"Sorry, I'm just a bit distracted." Mae laughed a bit and shrugged her shoulders. "I'll work the register, that will keep me focused."
"Okay, just hoping you are okay? Cause you don't want the boss to see you spacing out ya know?" Laura was a friend of hers the two never really hung out often, it was more of that whole we are best friends at work sort of relationship. The two always took their breaks together when they could, or they would bring each other food or something. She was glad to have the other girl to help her out at work. Mae was prone to spacing out and it got her in trouble a lot, but since the blonde woman started working here she had gotten yelled at least thanks to her snapping her back into reality.
It was good to have someone looking out for you. She hadn't had that since she was sixteen. Her parents wanted to move to California were is was warmer and Mae didn't want to leave her friends and finish school. She was almost done with high school and was going to be graduating that next year so she wanted to finish everything. So she moved in with her grandparents and her mom and dad left to California after some bad fighting. Her grandparents were not all there, so Mae look care of herself in their home till after high school when she moved out on her own and was now putting herself through college. Of course she had struggled a bit, and was a bit late with getting her degree but she had gotten recently, and that was all that mattered. But now she was looking for teaching jobs, and summer was perfect because this was when most school looked for their newest teachers for the next school year.
She walked over the logged into the system and started taking orders and charging people. To keep busy would keep her focused and keep the images from bugging her too much. Today there were so oddly vivid and frequent. It was unusual. But now wasn't the time to focus on that. It was time to work and get these people their coffee and food, before complaints happened.

Snow Zieglar "Have you ever heard of a wolf who wanted to be a rabbit?" - x - A coffee shop.
Was that where this girl of mystery was going to? True, his dreams had been becoming more vivid in color, but they weren't really... in color, like the world around him was, but it was getting closer to that. Everything was pulling him towards here, but he had no idea what. Like an internal compass, bringing him here.
His feet slowly walked around, his icy blue eyes looking at the flowers and beautiful scenery around him. Ah, how he loved the smell of nature. Snow was... someone who really just loved the peaceful nature of wildlife. How fitting for his name to be Snow, right? Everything was just... beautiful and he loved it. Which was why he loved being in areas that held lots of plant life around them.
A little parched, but nothing that much, his feet pulled him in the direction of a nearby coffee shop. The same one that he had watched the girl go into. Curious about her, he hiended up eventually going into the coffee shop, pulling his scarf down a little. While he wasn't one that you'd think to be a wanted criminal, he found himself being one, nonetheless, for things he didn't do. So he was on his guard, even at this shop here.
Walking up to the counter, his icy blue eyes went over the menu, no minding any of the workers until he was decided with what exactly he wanted. Snow hesitated for a bit before pulling out his wallet and getting out a ten dollar bill, looking back down at one of the workers.
Mouth open to speak, his words never came out as his eyes fully focused on the girl in front of him. He had no idea who she was or even her name, but... this was exactly the girl that he had been seeing for twenty-three years whenever he closed his eyes. He even recognized her scent, one of the perks of being part wolf indeed.
"I-... erm, I'd... like a caramel mocha with whipped cream and... uh... a doughnut?" his voice seemed quiet, but gentle, as it normally was, holding a bit of stammer it in, which wasn't normally him at all. It was strange and... weird, after all. Seeing her, recognizing her fully. Was this why he was brought here?
He had no idea, in all honesty.

Mae was busy righting things down and had gotten focused on filling people's orders. It wasn't packed but there was a decent amount of people. So she was scrambling to fill her half of the orders wihch was the food, lucky for her not everyone ordered food so Laura was doing most of the work. Things cleared up for a few minutes and she was able to lean against the counter and relax. She closed her eyes for a few seconds and the outside of the coffee shop flashed across her mind. Why was that happening? The girl knew that she could see somethings he saw but why was he seeing her coffee shop. First the flowers now this? What was next he was just going to walk in the front door. Yeah right, everywhere she had seen had been really far away, at least she assumed it was after all the weather was never anywhere close to where she was for the most part.
Opening her eyes she heard the little bell ring from over the door alerting her that people were entering. She had worked here for a number of years now and had become used to that sound. Never really paid any attention to it if she was being completely honest. The girl moved to help Laura who looked like she was struggling a bit filling the last few drinks. She pressed a few buttons and the coffee machine turned on "You gotta hit them in the right order or it wont do what you want. The thing is picky." She whispered to the girl not wanting the person looming over the glass to hear that his barista didn't fully know how to work the machine. After the drink poured and finished she handed it to Laura who then mixed everything in. She left her to handle that she knew Laura was good at that and memorizing the drinks and what not. So she wouldn't bother her with that sort of thing.
Once back at the register she looked up ready to smile at the costumer who had waited for her to return, but she froze. It was the man of her dreams. Literally. It this why everything had become to vivid in color recently? Lucky for her he spoke, the same voice she had grown to know her whole life basically. He had looked the same since day one. Her heart was stopped and she was unable to move for a good bit of time. Then she felt the sharp jab in her side. Mae snapped into reality and smiled nervously at him. "Oh- yeah! Of course, uh for the doughnut would you life the classic glaze, chocolate or strawberry?" She asked finally able to get the words out thanks to Laura bringing her mind out of the clouds.
So many things ran through her mind, like all the things she had seen, all the plant life the different places and different things. Growing up seeing someone and now having them right in front of you. Just like they had always been there. It was weird, but it was almost like she knew him. Like they were old friends. This was all really weird for her to think about. Mae had almost thought he was just a dream and not a real person, something she used to distract from the real word. But here her was in the flesh. Everything she had seen had been his life, and now nothing flashed across her vision, but him sort of. This time he wasn't a blur or a figure. He was real.
The girl tried her best not to stare at him after all wouldn't that be a little weird? More since that was the first thing she had done. If anything had been in her hands it would have been like a scene from a movie and been all dramatic. Of course this seemed like a scene from a movie. It was almost surreal like it wasn't happening and that this was just another one of her dreams. Maybe she hadn't actually gotten out of bed today. But that couldn't have been it, after all Laura hit her pretty hard in the side not too long ago. So she just smiled once more as he deiced which kind he wanted. For some reason she was worried about making him feel odd or making things weird. Like it genuinely was a concern of hers now. It was like her high school crush walked in and suddenly she was hyper aware of what she was doing. "My favorite is the strawberry. Its not super sweet to the point where you can eat the whole thing." Mae's voice was happy, but soft since she was nervous. "That is just my preference though." The girl laughed a bit, very obviously nervous.
(sorry it is short D: )
