Oh no. I really, really, really, really, want to do this and have a great idea for it. But I was also going to do Camp NaNoWriMo for July with my actual novel. Now I'm torn.

Cresent - haha, I know. I do feel bad for anyone who's posted a new fic this week though. We've demanded all the attention.
Tues - honestly everything you do is so refreshing. All your contests keep me writing, and it's a much needed break from school work XD

yes, fun is good, but the problem is how competitive I am cx if I start I'll be too stubborn to stop, I think, so I'm kinda choosing whether to focus on mind games or divide my time between that and this.
(as a side note, it really is awesome that you're doing this. nothing like a little friendly competition to keep people motivated and excited to write!)

i completely understand tbh. in the end, do whatever works for you. i'd love to see what you do for this, but if you just focus on mind games, i can't complain since i'm following that, too. c:
haha, i love running contests! it started with the tuesday challenges on the old wcf, which i began in may (i think? can't quite recall) of '15, and it's gone on ever since. the challenges are on hold during july so i can focus on running this, and because i doubt folks will have time for both, but you're more than welcome to take a whack at the challenges when they return in august!

Dingoleap Ikr I'm trying to plan a 'fic, but idk if it'll just get lost in all the contest thread lol.
ᴛᴜᴇsᴅᴀʏ- I'm so excited, Tues! I'm feeling happy with my thread, since I spent a while on my coding, and I have a couple ideas for the prompts. Though I'm mostly just gonna wing it, probably, haha. And I'm going away for a week so I may have to double up if I want to finish all 31. Though tbh, with my writing efficiency, all 31 aren't gonna get done hehe. And yeee TC is my thing. How long have you been running it now? Like a year?

khdkhasjdha i'm so glad to hear it. i'm just trying to be the person that i know i've needed in the past. i wanna be the one to always comment on fics and bounce ideas and just be the general inspiration and support that i really didn't get early on. it's only been in the last couple years that i've had that, and up until then, everything i did was all self-propelled, self-taught, and that gets exhausting. support is good. i'm just trying to do that.

I agree with Dingo. The WFF wouldn't be nearly as exciting or active without you, your writing, and your contests! honestly, the Challenges helped me out during a critical phase of writing development. I don't think I'd be here now without you!

dew - funny how writing about some cats can really blossom, huh? it always amazes me, the talent on this forum.
dingo - i feel so bad for leaving that time, too. i really thought i couldn't keep up with this place, but the truth was that i just had a heavy course load, and never really needed to leave, not really. it feels good to be back. feels like home, really.
and oof, starting is the hardest part, every single time.
cres - dfkdjfksdjf i'm just gonna go blubber some happy tears over here. really, that's all i've been trying to do. i wanna be helpful to people. ;w;

wänderernope, interpret the prompt however you like, and feel free to include art! just know the art will have zero bearing on the judging. and nope, characters do not have to be canon. this just does have to be warriors related in some way, even if it's just cats, in order for it to stay in the wff.
