Rattlesnake's paw only just brushed against Silverkit nose. "Ha!" he said. "Got you!" Only he forgot to start running now that he had caught her.

Silverkit took her opportunity, now that she was it, to dart in at Rattlesnake while he was still idle.

Instead of running, Rattlesnake froze. Which did no good of course because Silverkit was heading right for him.

Silverkit dashed up to Rattlesnake and lifted a paw to tag him with, smiling mischievously.

"'It' again," said Rattlesnake, laughing. "Want to go back to the Home?I'm getting tired and I thought maybe you could show me around."

Silverkit skidded to a halt; she had begun to run away from Rattlesnake. "Sure!" she replied. She was a bit tired too, to be honest, even though she hadn't been running her highest speed. She began to pad back to the edge of the forest, where the lake was, to head back to the cavern.

"WindClan. We lived on the moors, with lots of space to run and stuff." Larkdapple replied. She followed her gaze into the pond. "Why?"

"Just wondering," Snowkit replied. She could recall faintly hearing about someplace called WindClan; usually in the stories and legends about the great five Clans Maplestone would tell them. She thought she saw a fish in the lake for a second, and looked closer to be sure. "What was it like?" she asked.

(How far are the clans from the mountain? Is it only a day travel or does it take several moons to get here?) "Relaxing, being on the moorland, and safe, because I knew I had a clan that had my back. But also dangerous. During leafbare all the prey would go shelter in the woods, but WindClan's strong enough to survive. But there's lots of room in the moor, which is what I always liked about being in WindClan." Larkdapple replied, gazing at the pond in a daze as she recollected her memories.

(I'm guessing it would take a few moons to get there.) "That sounds.. intriguing," Snowkit mewed quietly, gazing at the small lake's edge. Near the middle, she saw a trout swim up and gulp down an insect that was bobbing on the water's surface. "Could you tell me more?"

"Hmmm... well, there were three other clans that lived as WindClan's neighbors. ThunderClan, RiverClan, and ShadowClan. ThunderClan lived in the trees, RiverClan by a river, and ShadowClan in the marsh. WindClan chose to live in the moor because of the wind, open spaces to run about and such. We grew up with the Warrior Code, which were basically the basic rules a warrior followed. It was a little chilly in WindClan, especially during leafbare, but at least there's plenty of fresh air. Have you ever seen a moor?" Larkdapple wondered if Snowkit knew about other places other than her mountain home.

Snowkit thought for a bit, trying to remember. "Isn't a moor kind of like a mountain? Except it's mostly flat?" she asked, trying to picture it in her head. She remembered seeing one once, she didn't quite remember where.. What she remembered was a relatively large expanse of land with no trees, just a few bristly bushes and some hills.

"But so was Tigerstar, wasn't he?" Darkkit asked sorrowfully. "He was intelligent and amazing, but he did bad things with his power.." "Yes, he was," Hailstorm mewed. "But Tigerstar was power hungry since he was a kit. You're a very thoughtful and kind kit."
(That's all I could come up with cx)

"Yeah, in a way. Except there were different plants, like heather or grass. And rabbits." Larkdapple replied, envisioning her old home. It was a while since she ate rabbit.

"I've never tasted rabbit," Snowkit stated. "Does it taste good?"

(Now I kind of want to try rabbit just to see what WindClan cats eat all day) "Really?" Larkdapple was surprised at first before realizing there probably weren't many rabbits in a mountain. "At home it tastes a bit like the moor, if that makes any sense. While I was coming here I caught a rabbit nearer this mountain and it had more of a, um, mountain-y taste. They're good to eat, but at the same time they're kind of cute."

(XD I think my sister's tried rabbit before for a science experiment. She might've been allergic to it though, I dunno) Snowkit gave a soft chuckle. "I wonder if those fish taste mountain-y," she mewed, glancing back at the water. "I guess we'll have to find out."

(What did she say it taste like? Also, poor bunny. ) Larkdapple chuckled, trying to combine RiverClan and the mountains. "Have you eaten fish before?"

She began to pad back to the edge of the forest, where the lake was, to head back to the cavern. (I'm back! ) Rattlesnake padded after the she-cat. The way she smiled every now and again reminded him of someone. He gave a retched laugh. He must really be tired if he was thinking about her again. He attempted to forget, every chance he got, the way she had left, heartbroken. He shook out his fur, trying to push her face out of his mind. Shamelessly advertising my new comic: Ƥσιѕσηιηg тнє Sєα

Silverkit emerged from the forest, aware of Rattlesnake following her. She spotted Snowkit and a she-cat she didn't recognize sitting by the lake, chatting, and she considered greeting them until she heard Rattlesnake laugh at something from behind her. "What are you laughing at?" she asked him quietly, guessing it was probably just a funny looking squirrel in the trees.

"Well, let's find out," Larkdapple smiled and got ready to catch a fish.

Snowkit crouched by the water, a paw ready, waiting for a fish to come near enough for her to catch it. She knew that she was only a kit, and that she shouldn't be able to hunt at her age, but she'd seen Maplestone catch fish, so she was willing to try.

Larkdapple scanned the pool for fish. She wondered if her hunting form was even right. Oh well, she wasn't a RiverClan cat. A fish came pretty close, but Larkdapple wanted to leave it for Snowkit.

Snowkit saw a fish swim by her and she shot out her paw, her claws unsheathed, and she hooked the fish onto them and scooped it out of the water a little sloppily. She gave it a quick killing bite to keep it from escaping. She looked back to Larkdapple, her fur fluffed up in embarrassment of the messy catch, and mewed, "I guess we can find out now."
