(Typo? How does ShadowClan miraculously become Slytherin with one slip of your fingers? CX) (Yeah, you have good points Smile, but Warrior Cats wasn't based off of Harry Potter, was it? So the Clans aren't going to be exactly the same as the Houses. It is fun to debate though. ) "Okay.." Darkkit mewed reluctantly. He started in the direction of the waterfall, leading the direction for Hailstorm, and willed the shadows beneath his paws to disappear. He saw them shrink, but slightly. That's not going to be enough, he fretted silently.(The long awaited post!) "Is something wrong?" meowed Hailstorm, as he tried to match his pace with the young cat. I hope I'm not putting him under pressure, he worried, suddenly stopping to think.

Daffodilstar padded after Goldenkit quickly, trying to keep up. Envy burned bright as she saw the kit unfold her tiny wings on the way down. I wish I had wings! Gliding was so much faster than walking.

"Yes, I think we should," Maplestone replied, turning to pad over to Fishkit. She approached him from behind, and quietly sat down a few tail-lengths away from him to wait for him to finish. A small grin lit up her features, knowing what would soon happen.
Fishkit had just finished gathering the thorns for Blazekit's nest. He was tired of the ginger kit getting on his nerves all the time. A bit of a prickle might convince him to stop complaining about "playing fair". Fishkit turned around to pad back into the den when he was sure no one was looking, planning on stashing the thorns beside his nest where he could hide them in Blazekit's later. But as he began to pad away, he noticed Maplestone sitting in front of him, looking rather smug. He yelped in surprise, dropping the bundle of thorns in his jaws.
"Now, what were you planning on doing with those?" Maplestone asked Fishkit pleasantly.
"I... I..." Fishkit stuttered, glancing wildly around for a way of escape. It was no use. He'd been discovered. To change the conversation and avoid answering Maplestone's question, he asked one himself. "Who's that?" he demanded, looking sideways at the new cat standing near Maplestone.
"Pleasure," Yewkit mewed, watching the sparks dance brightly along the she-cat's pelt. Yewkit didn't wonder why she was named Goldspark. She didn't know anything else to say, though, so she decided to be clear right then and there. "Are you here to adopt me?" she asked.
(They were going to have a fishing lesson, remember? c:) "No," Darkkit replied, tearing his gaze away from his paws and back to the trail ahead of him. I can find another way to fish with shadows in my paws, he told himself fiercely, pushing Wavekit's skeptical voice out of his head.
Goldenkit smiled when Daffodilstar reached her. The golden she-kit couldn't help but notice that Daffodilstar seemed a bit envious, although she couldn't imagine why. Why would anyone be jealous of me? she wondered. Other than my wings, I'm just a normal kit... Not like Silverkit or Frostkit, who have really cool powers... And my wings aren't even big enough to fly with. I can see why someone would be jealous of Ravenpaw, but not me. She remembered how the black apprentice could fly really high, but she could only glide short distances. Maplestone doesn't even think my wings will grow much more. I might never fly like Ravenpaw... She pushed these thoughts away and turned to the fresh-kill pile. "You can help yourself!" she told Daffodilstar brightly, looking for a piece of prey to pick for herself.

"Yeah," Darkkit replied. They'd reached the entrance to the cavern, where the waterfall thundered beside them, spraying mist onto Darkkit's fur. A narrow stone pathway led down to the ground below, where a large pine forest was growing beside the lake. Darkkit started down the wet path, padding carefully so he wouldn't slip. When he neared the bottom, his paws sank into the layer of fallen pine needles on the grass. He turned to see if Hailstorm had followed.

Daffodilstar shook off her jealousy. Leaning down, she took a scrawny crow off the pile. It's better that I leave more for the youngsters.

Daffodilstar was super interested in Goldenkit's wings. She just didn't let it show. Sneaking glances at the wings from the corner of her eyes, she smiled at Goldenkit. "How are you?"

Maplestone360 (Hi, sry this is late. I was on a trip over the weekend) Larkdapple swallowed up the last of her water and stood up. "Is there a rule against wading around in the pool? It would be nice to get some water between my fur."

"No, there isn't," Snowkit replied, suddenly realizing how nice it would feel to take a small swim. She placed a paw in the water, and a lightning bolt of cold shot up her foreleg. She shivered, placing her other paw in the water as well. At least it isn't freezing, Snowkit thought. The water was cool, but not too cold. She'd get used to it after a while.

"Yep," Silverkit replied cheerfully, letting her gaze flicker around the cave, watching as the other kits began to wake up and poke their heads out of their dens. "And I didn't even have any nightmares," she added. "Do you usually have nightmares?" asked Rattlesnake, flicking an ear in slight concern. "If you do, one of the cats in my group can probably help..." He suggested it to be helpful, just in case it was a problem that Silverkit wanted to worry about. (?)

(oh look they added ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Just wanted to test them out) Larkdapple followed Snowkit, flinching at how cold it was. But she quickly got used to it and dunked her head in, letting the cool water swirl around her. When she popped her head back up droplets of the pool splashed everywhere.

(Oh. Major whoops. Thank you for reminding me or I might never have replied to that. ) "Not all the time, but it always bothers me when I do," Silverkit replied. Her nightmares were always strange. Most of the time they involved running away from some sort of threat, but never being fast enough to escape. She hated those ones particularly. Silverkit shook her head to clear the thought. Snowkit followed Larkdapple into the lake, the water both weighing down her fur and lifting her up. She paddled around in a circle as she adjusted to the wet chill, and let out a mew of surprise that quickly turned into a laugh when she was splashed straight in the face.

Maplestone360Larkdapple smiled an evil grin as she watched Snowkit get attacked by water drops. She dunked her entire body under and swam over as close as possible to Snowkit, ready to launch a full-out water attack. However, part of her fur was peeking out of the water, and she was having trouble keeping from bobbing up.

Snowkit squealed as she saw Larkdapple coming after her, and she ducked under the water to swim away. She felt rather clumsy as her limbs flailed through the water, and she knew she wouldn't be able to outswim Larkdapple for long.

Larkdapple popped her head out of the water and slapped the water with her paws, creating a huge splash. She spotted Snowkit scrambling to get away and bopped her on the back with her nose after she caught up.

Snowkit flinched when Larkdapple sent a wave of water in her direction, sending her paws up in front of her face involuntarily to protect herself. As the splash came crashing down, the droplets froze solid and dropped into the water around her, swerving to avoid her head. Whoah, Snowkit thought, watching the ice drift downwards to the bottom of the lake. How did I just do that?

Larkdapple's eyes widened as the water froze into ice and swerved to avoid Snowkit's little head. It was a fascinating sight to see the objects seemingly move around on their own, as if a wind was carrying them in a little swirl around the white-furred kit. "Woah... that was beautiful! How'd you do it?"

"Yeah," Fishkit replied, looking Ambermist in the eye. "What're you here for?" he asked him, all the while nudging his pile of thorns behind him. Maybe if Maplestone forgot he had them, he would still be able to hide them in Blazekit's next later. His gaze didn't move away from the other cats, though, so that his eyes wouldn't betray his actions.
"I... I don't know," Snowkit admitted, looking down at her paws that had seemed to direct the ice on their own. "It was sort of a reflex," she added, feeling rather bemused.

Daffodilstar nodded, gulping down a piece of her prey. "I'm doing well." She snuck a glance at Goldenkit's wings. Leaning down, she picked at her prey some more. When she looked up at the kit, her whiskers were twitching. "Aaachoo!" The feather dancing on her nose had made her sneeze.

Silverkit shook her head to clear the thought."Nightmares bother everyone," said Rattlesnake, dipping his head so Silverkit couldn't meet his eyes. He was reminded of Inkpaw, the kit that he had let into his group... He had nightmares almost every night because he dreamed of things to come. He looked up again, tilting his head. "What are the plans for today?"

"Yes, I am." Goldspark sat down beside Yewkit's nest and streched herself. Then she tried to find a way out of the silence that had taken place. "Er... so, what is your power?" Goldspark mewed feeling awkward.

Goldenkit smiled when she saw Daffodilstar sneeze. "Feathers do that to me, too, sometimes," she mewed, looking at the crow the bigger she-cat was eating. Which is quite often, since... Goldenkit glanced back at her wings, which were covered in feathers. She shook the thought away.
"I don't know..." Silverkit mewed, thinking about it. "Maybe something that can help us get to know each other better," she suggested, tilting her head. There wasn't much more to know about her, other than the facts that she was fast and she lived in the Home pretty much her whole life, but Rattlesnake...? "Can you tell me more about your group?" she asked him.
"Well— Uh— Maybe," Fishkit replied, looking Ambermist up and down. "I don't know if you're fun yet," he added. At least if I'm adopted I won't have to be around the annoying kits anymore, he thought to himself. But I really don't want to be adopted by a boring old kittypet or anything. He hoped that wasn't what Ambermist was.
"Oh, um..." Yewkit started. She didn't think her power was interesting, but Goldspark would have to find out sooner or later. "I can... control plants," she admitted, not meeting Goldspark's eyes. Her power sounded rather stupid now that she was saying it out loud. She resisted the urge to sigh.

Anyway, we have a large number of cats, almost forty. A good many are Gifted, like myself. The remainder are usually normal or powered cats. We have two cats with wings, my adopted son Patch and a rather pretty young she-cat that I think he likes." He chuckled a little. "I and Dream keep them all together and they are all really nice..." He trailed off, looking into the distance. "I think you'd like a lot of them if you met them," he said, snapping back to the present.

"Yeah," Goldenkit admitted, smiling sheepishly. "They make me sneeze almost every time I try to clean them." It was a bit annoying, really. Goldenkit wished her nose wasn't so sensitive.
Silverkit closed her eyes and imagined the scene Rattlesnake described, with the many cats and the two with wings, and how she might like them if she met them. She let a small purr escape her throat. "That sounds wonderful," she mewed wistfully, a small grin creeping up her face.
Fishkit smiled, a little mischievous smile that meant he'd just had a splendid idea. "I like to play tag and hide-and-seek," he replied, flicking his tail gleefully. The thorns could wait, for now. He knew what to do.
