𝕊𝕙𝕒𝕕𝕠𝕨 nebIlex's plan could work. The shadow-hawk sees them, but doesn't swoop down. The group's Speech is tested... Speech skill revealed! Stonestreak: Speech 1 Ilex: No Speech skill The hawk doesn't notice them at first, but upon Stonestreak yowling with all of her will, it screeches and dives down. Unfortunately for it, in its blind rage, it strikes the treetops and causes another statue to fall. It shatters, glowing with a bright light, and the duo finds themselves in the main room.

Heavystrike tilted his head slowly with a guarded look on his face. "I see. Who would you two be, then?" He asked, accepting the fate given to him. "I'm Allie, and this here is Emigo," the yellow-eyed cat mews. The blue-eyed cat, Emigo, nodded. "Sorry for the rush, but we must get your trial underway. Look up there." A shadow appeared above the main room. It seemed to belong to a large bat. It hissed at Heavystrike, narrowing its white eyes that stood out from its shadow-like body. |

Heavystrike had little time to respond to the shadows introduction, he squinted up to the other creature above him. The tom waited for the bat to make the first move, putting his weight on his hind legs. (What are my options?) (Each battle, you have two options: strike with full force or do a more accurate attack. The former is stronger, but less accurate than the latter. When the enemy attacks, you may be prompted to use more energy to dodge.) The bat screeches and swoops down.
Heavystrike's Jump is tested...
If he uses more effort, he can dodge the attack. |

Bramblewish squinted. What should she do? She would be better off just staying in a corner and observing the fight, but she decided to step in. Carefully stepping over to move behind the bat, she calculated what she could do but then pounced straight on its back with her claws and teeth.

Bramblewish slid off easily, but shook out her fur. What could she do? Bunching up her muscles and putting every ounce of strength she could into it, she pounced once more. This better work... I didn't think about it properly like I always do.

The bat screeches in pain as Bramblewish's claws connect. It is still on course towards the tom, although it is hurt. Bramblewish just has to wait for it to finish its attack.

Bramblewish didn't want to do anything more or get herself hurt, so she ran away to a corner and hid. Best to wait and see if this tom needed any more help.

Larkwing's fur flies up upon hearing the loud screeching from outside the Library. The brown she-cat unsheathes her claws as she runs out, her eyes widen as sees the bat, about to attack another cat.
'Spirits, what can I do? I'm too far away to get even a decent hit...'

Heavystrike stared at the she-cat in shock and nodded to her respectfully. He turned his attention back to the trial, he lunged at the bat with his claws out. skill score revealed! Heavystrike: Strike 1 The bat claws at its foe's face, but that's nothing compared to the damage it takes. It screeches in pain and falls down. Any kind of attack will kill it. |
