Mia flew beside Tawnyfur, seeing the black shape emerge from the volcano and flying in closer. "Nix? How do I get out of the room?" She asked. "YOU MUST FLY FOR THE SUN, AND ITS LIGHT WILL SEND YOU BACK. AN EASY TRIAL FOR AN EASY WAY OUT. WE ENVY YOU." "Thanks! I'm sorry that you envy me." Mia said, quickly turning and flying to the sun as fast as she could. What if the Nix chased her? Out of pure fear, she went speeding towards the sun faster than ever. |

Armageddidn't 𝕊𝕙𝕒𝕕𝕠𝕨Shadowflight flies into the darkness, which greedily sucks at her paws. She is still able to fly out if she does so now, though.

Ilex strangles her paws out, and took a deep breath, her claws unsheathed, she flew toward her friend and pushed her away from the darkness, instead plunging herself into the darkness, shrieking with the effort.

As Shadowflight flies back onto the library floor, Ilex is plunged into shadow.
Two twolegs sit side by side on a hill. They watch the night sky.
"Are there going to be fireworks tonight?"
"Amy, it's not even July!"
"It's almost then! They do it early sometimes, Raven!"
"Yes, but-"
"Look! The sky's lighting up!"
And everything faded to LIGHT.

Azu nods reluctantly and flies toward the sun as Mia did. He nearly runs into the skylight as well. It seems everyone is in the main room now. |

Ilex watched the scene, her eyes wide, and let off a yell, "I love you all!" she yelled, screaming the words, tears running down her cheeks, "Escape!" she screamed loudly then, falling silent as she faded with the light, only leaving her tears to fall into the shadows.

They will be free.
But the Nix have an offer of freedom to their kind. A chance to raise the number of freed beings to 5.
