Thank you! Is there a ranking for Nix we don't know about yet or are they all basically the same with a few tweaks made to their stats and physical appearance?) Their physical appearance shifts to fit the theme, but it's the same other than occasional reversions to their shadow forms. Their stats are normally not tweaked, just revealed instead of hidden. There IS a hidden condition Nix-class characters can get, but it's not always the best... |

How did you come up with the idea of Nix?) At first, they were simple shadow enemies, but I wanted to do something more with them to fit the Schrödinger's Cat theme. What better thing to do than make them a paradox of existing and not existing? Also, shadows exist in the absence of light. Nix exists in the absence of existence. See any symbolism?  |

Will there be any major character arcs for the NPC's? Also, will there be more enemies types later in the game?)) Definitely! Of course! They'll all be Nix, but in different variations- such as the sleeping dragon Nix in door 6. |

I was thinking it could be about different peoples characters, through the view of the character. The over all protagonist is going to be Ilex(simply due to this story idea thing being mine), but secondary protagonist with be involved. I'd like to have someone's cat who escaped round one, and Ilex is one cat that was stuck. They will be mini-stories for each round, probably around 10 chapters per round. The first will be called Nine Lives or 9 Lives, the second will be 'Flight or Fight'. Ilex will narrate the most chapter(As again, the story was my idea, and I will be asking for help). I'll put up a story planning page in the off topic section for writing. I'll post a link to here as well, and thanks guys, you're help will be much appreciated!

There is no reason to delay our chance to exist any longer.
Let them learn the truth.
In a barren rock room, each player wakes up. Alone. A soft wind blows in from outside. A glimpse out the small opening reveals a different main room- a set of stone pillars that reach up from who knows how far down. On a large "island" sits a stone tablet.
Ilex, Shadowflight, and Stonestreak's bodies flicker a shadowy black for a moment, but everything becomes normal almost as quickly it appeared.

"I'm...alive?" Ilex gasped as she opened her eyes, looking fearfully at the area around her. "Where am I?" she asked, but remembered in a quick moment what had happened to her, well...glimpses of what did. She saw a book, a brown she-cat, and then this blinding light in the memory, only at the end did she spot two shadowed cats ahead of her, and she felt a dislike in her heart at it, but that's all before she opened her eyes once more, looking confused. She remembered who she was, what happened in her normal life, but she didn't remember everything that had happened.
It was all...fuzzy. She felt a movement on her back and looked behind her, frowning.
I don't remember having wings either...

Ilex growled in annoyance, "Take things seriously Shadowflight!" she blurted out, but looked amazed, how did she know that name? She barely even knew Shadowflight in the last game.
More vividly, she remembered another cat she spotted, "Stonestreak!" she said in surprise, she was still confused, but felt happy. Despite knowing their names, she only knew one annoyed her and the other she felt a friendly affection for(as in friend, not romance.).
