...and that was what Purity saw.
Her left wing is even more damaged. She knocks the cats nearby away again, but is forced to shake her head to dislodge Shadow. It doesn't work, but the wolf is too busy hanging on to claw at her eyes.
A beam of white light strikes Larkwing, and another hits Tawny. A burning sensation comes from where they were struck. It's less like something was burned off, and more like something was... gone.

"Larkwing! Tawnyfur!" Ilex screamed, her eyes turning blue for a moment, wide with shock. However they quickly burst into a bright white, and she teleported beside Purity's face, aiming a beam of shadow at Purity's eyes, hissing in anger.

What is this? It doesn't exactly hurt... But it doesn't feel right either... Larkwing thought as she rose to her paws, from where she had been fell on her side.
She shook her head, the adrenaline in her body slowly going away the more she thought.
I can't think right now... I need to fight. The brown she-cat thought, throwing herself forward to try and sink her claws into the snake's right wing.
