Ilex lands and looked down, then looks up, if she found out the source, she could come back and get the others. "Guy's I'm going to check ahead!" She yells out. She then began walking ahead.

Ilex squints, trying to keep her sight. She opens her wings and flies toward it, but cautiously.

Ilex backed up. She wasn't about to get herself killed, her eyes narrowed, and softly she called swiftly, "Purity?"

The glow expands, and a massive serpent towers over Ilex. White, feathered wings extend and reach far enough for those on the mountainside to see. Black eyes stare directly at Ilex.

Ilex shrinked back, and looked up. "This is not good..." she whispered, and opened her own wings, turning and flying back toward the way she came.

Ilex' fur was bristled, her eyes filled with anger, but dread crawling into her pelt "We don't have everyone with use, we should have stuck together..." she whispered.

Zhi opened her paper wings, following the path Ilex had taken.
She cut quickly in the air, like a paper plane, keeping herself up everytime she dipped by flapping her wings widely.
The Topi Aiza landed behind the orange winged she-cat, mind ready to fight, even if it might not be too effective in this case...
Her claws seems slight more pointed, and her horns seemed to have curves out in a ram style to bash anything if needed. Even if it didn't do much, Zhi was prepared to do what she could to help. It was... What she wanted. Larkwing had said that was what mattered most, didn't she?

Purity slowly blinks, but doesn't do anything. She knows fully well where everyone is. She just watches. And waits.

Ilex looked back, and offered a light smile to Zhi. Finding her confidence once more, the young she-cat padded forward, looking up at Purity. Gently, she closed her wing, folding them to her body, sat down, and closed her eyes. Around her, darkness gathered, wisping along the ground, and circling around her. Forming a dome of darkness around herself, she flew upwards, the darkness following slightly after her, and opened her wisping wings of shadow, her fur stained a darker color, and when she opened her eyes, they were once again a glowing white. This time, her eyes were brighter than before, and the darkness scattered out quickly, fading into the air, and she looked now, at Purity. Her eyes faded back into a light glow, and she narrowed them in Purity's direction.
She then gently flew downwards, landing by Zhi, and sitting. "Thank you-" she whispered to Zhi, offering the paper creature a small smile. She was thanking her for giving her confidence, if Zhi was prepared, Ilex should be too. She turned her head forward once more, and moved her tail, which also was now made of shadow.

I've already failed miserably... I doubt even this could make up for what I failed to prevent back home... The brown she-cat shook her head, as she unsheathed her claw.
"Perhaps diplomacy could work momentarily? Instead of leaping into the fray?" Larkwing suggested, agreeing with the newcomer.
Who knows? She might reveal something important...
