Ilex nodded, and gulped, a guilt was following her, and it was weighting upon her the more she thought about it, because perhaps, and in her mind, was she worse then Purity herself? She thought about then more, pondering her thoughts countlessly in her head. Had Stonestreak's, Shadowflight's, Epona's, and Brindlemask's lives been her fault? As she remembered her arguement with Tinnicus, she realized that perhaps they were, she decided to betray Brindlemask, even if the other she-cat had done the same, she might have prevented her death. The other three could have been saved had she not been so selfish to get the others out, and she kept wanting to blame Ourity, but was she really to blame? The whole reason all of Round 3 might have been stuck is because she decided to fight Shadow! She had convinced herself Ourity was the true enemy, but in reality, was that true? Purity had destroyed worlds, and that was true, but she aimlessly took away the chances of other creatures for herself and for others, even though in the long run, more creatures could have been saved had she not been so foolish. She looked down silently, stepping silently, and lost in her own thoughts, her thoughts becoming haunted with guilt, and small crystalline tears forming around her eyes, even her breath started to evaporate shakily from her, as she realized that for so many needless deaths, that perhaps she was to blame.
(I've been wanting to go into her thoughts a little so, enjoy?)

Ilex blinked, and looked up, a little surprised, she did kind of fade from reality in her thoughts, then she processed what was said. "It's..." she blinked the tears away, "It's nothing, I just am nervous, I guess," she said with a shrug, and sat down, offering a fake smile to her friend.

She wasn't really worried about the ginger she-cat's abilities, she could feel something else was digging at Ilex...
But now was probably not the best time to mention it.
