I think we could say they were trying to branch out to different foxes so we can have more breeds.
However, the divisions of other foxes were small so there were only a few of them, that way we can stick to the main red foxes.
Yeah they're amazing <3
it's sad that they're mostly just for coats and such.
The ranks look great 
I think we should have some sort of babbysitter rank, that way the foxes who can't really adjust to hunting and fighting etc can still have a place in the Era

So, don't you want rank names too, like, this group would probably have to establish leadership. It could relate to warriors, but the ranks would be a lot different. This is a suggestion based on the Latin language, which would make the roots of the RP more open in ways.
Princeps-Leader
Vicarium-Deputy
Medicus-Healer
Custos-Guardian-They are guardians, work against predators
Venandi-Hunter-Get prey
Minus-Untrusted Fox-Babysitters, punished foxes who have the least respected jobs
Discipulus-Student-Train for Medicus, Custos, or Venandi
Donum-Means Gift, This would be for kits.
Exspectans-Pregnant Foxes
Veteris-Elders

OOC || Armageddidn't, ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ --Tom came up with some rank names as well. I think we can find a way to mish-mash them, because they both sound pretty good. However the main thing I don't like about his is they're all named after human things.
Foxes don't really know what a sheriff is.
Besides that, I like most of them, so I'd like to find a way to keep the Veteran and Private rank somehow.
I feel as though the formal ranks- the ones based off of the latin names, will be the entire group as a whole. (besides the 'Princeps', 'Disciplus', and 'Donums', etc. as we can't divide those into class. Fox example-
Custos-Guardian // The Veteran Custos is the lead Custos. The Privates are the lowest/newest ranking Custos members, and the Soldiers are the middle ranking ones.
Venandi-Hunter // The Veteran Venandi is the lead Venandi. The Privates are the lowest/newest ranking Venandi members, and the Soldiers are the middle ranking ones.
I think there are still some other adjustments to the names we can make, but these are good bases

That could work, for the healer, guardian and hunter groups(Latin names used of course).
I think that multiple names could be natural things in Latin, and people wonder why foxes would know Latin, I mean...why would they just know English? Latin is a base and root of many languages, so agreeably, it would be the most realistic one to use, in my opinion. Of course not all names will have to be Latin, but some might be. Like Ilex(Holly), Veraque(Empathy), and Tedium(Apathy), and more! It opens a unique variety too.

I feel like they shouldn't have 'apprentices', so to speak. They'll have a rank for the foxes around apprentice age or for new foxes who need to learn era ways. That rank doesn't get much respect, as they currently don't hold an actual position in the era. They'll get to shadow the actual positions, and once it's decided what rank is best for them, they'll become privates and learn everything from the other foxes in the rank.

I don't think they'd be with the Minus.
The rank would be at zero. Minus is negative, and any other rank is positive. They're pretty much right in between. They don't have respect, but they're not hated or disrepsected either
