Wishpaw padded out of the apprentice den, having no idea what was going on, looking for Dreampaw. Her light amber eyes were nervous when she didn't see him. She didn't know he was right behind her. "Who ya lookin' for?" Dreampaw asked. Wishpaw jumped. "Great Starclan, Dreampaw, you startled me!" she mewed back. "I was looking for you."

Dreampaw smiled. "Oh, really? Why?" "Because you're my closest friend." Wishpaw responded. Dreampaw grinned and crouched. "Wanna go play with the kits?" "I don't know if I have any duties today yet, but if I don't, sure!"

Smoketail immediately flinched upon hearing his leader call for him, stopping dead in his tracks. Was he in trouble for pacing around the camp entrance? As fast as he could, he made his way over to the brown and black she-cat. "Di-Did you call me, Tawnystar?"

As Smoketail briefly processed the request, and the fact that there was a mysterious burning tree in the woods. He felt a speck of uneasiness pass through him. However, he knew serving his leader and clan was more important than how he felt. "O-Of course, Tawnystar! I'll be h-honored to come check it out!" he meowed, dipping his head respectfully.
