Poppysun noticed a tom cat entering the camp, and glanced at NightBringer, flicking her tail and meowing that she'd be back in a second. She padded quickly over to the cat. "Hello, may I help you?" she inquired softly.

Poppysun noticed a tom cat entering the camp, and glanced at NightBringer, flicking her tail and meowing that she'd be back in a second. She padded quickly over to the cat. "Hello, may I help you?" she inquired softly. Applepelt caught sight of the she-cat right before she spoke to him. He blinked in greeting as he thought over his words. "Hello. I've been told that there are kits here that need a home. I was hoping to provide a kit with one." He hoped that he answered the proper way, unfamiliar with how this was usually handled. He had heard of such places, but never been to one. |

Poppysun blinked kindly at the tom, "Of course, that would be wonderful!" she meowed, "All the kits here are in need of a permanent home, and all have such unique personalities. Is there anyone in particular you had in mind?"

Is there anyone in particular you had in mind?" Applepelt glanced around the area until his gaze landed upon a small brown tom playing in the dirt. He wasn't sure what it was about this particular kit, but he felt drawn to that one. Flicking his tail towards the kit, he spoke quietly. "What can you tell me about that one?" |

Poppysun followed the direction of the toms tail pointed at Thawkit as he played in the dirt. "Ah, that over there is Thawkit," Poppysun began softly, "he's quite shy, and doesn't warm up to new cats very easily. It's mostly because of his wings. He's scared of them." Poppysun turned her head back to the tom sitting beside her, "I'm sorry, I don't think I caught your name." she meowed gently.

Poppysun turned her head back to the tom sitting beside her, "I'm sorry, I don't think I caught your name." she meowed gently. "I am Applepelt." the tom replied with a small nod. As he listened to the description of the kit, he almost changed his mind. But he couldn't, and he wasn't sure why. "Would it be okay if I met with him? Maybe we can see if we have anything in common." His clanmates had always said that he was quiet to the point of sounding timid himself, so maybe he could keep from overwhelming the new kit. |

(pearlkit, emeraldkit (those two should be rped by the same person, theyre siblings) blackkit, ashkit (just for fun, no one is looking to adopt her currently so its not needed to rp her) and mottlekit.)

"Of course," she meowed at the tom's request, "just try not to frighten or upset him." Poppysun flicked her tail as a signal for Applepelt to follow her, and headed over to the kit. "Hello Thawkit, this is Applepelt, he came here to meet you." she purred once they reached the young kit. Applepelt followed quietly, thinking over what he could say. If the kit frightened easily, he would have to be careful not to come across as overwhelming or loud. Luckily, he was usually neither, so hopefully it wouldn't be a problem. He stopped next to Poppysun and sat back, wrapping his tail around him. "Hello." |

Snowdapple walked back into the cave. She looked around for Smokekit, Dovekit, and Elmkit. Smokekit stretched his legs, comforted by the warmth of his siblings lying next to him. He lifted his head as a shadow appeared in the entrance of the den, recognising the she-cat from the previous day. Nudging Dovekit and Elmkit to wake them, he stood up cautiously and picked his way over the other kits. "Hello," he mewed as he reached Snowdapple. Elmkit sprang to his feet as Smokekit nudged him, having already been awake. He looked around, confused for a second until he saw Snowdapple in the entrance with Smokekit heading towards her. He stepped lightly over Dovekit as she woke up, flicking her with his tail. Dovekit opened her eyes groggily, watching as Smokekit left the den through half closed eyes. She got up and yawned loudly, before following her brother. Applepelt followed quietly, thinking over what he could say. If the kit frightened easily, he would have to be careful not to come across as overwhelming or loud. Luckily, he was usually neither, so hopefully it wouldn't be a problem. He stopped next to Poppysun and sat back, wrapping his tail around him. "Hello." Thawkit looked up as the two cats approached him, taking a few steps back and realizing self consciously that he was covered with dirt. "He-hello." he stuttered quietly, looking at the ground. |

EmeraldKit tilted his head, and thought about what the older cat said. the fact that she said she wouldnt split them up put him a bit more at ease, and he decided, reluctantly, to at least be more civil. PearlKit nudged her brother, and then looked at StealthCreek. "can we play moss ball?" she mewls excitedly.
BlackKit purred softly, and nodded. "id love to race!" she got to her paws, prancing around excitedly. "where are we racing to?"
AshKit, not seeing any berries, frowned, and backed out. glancing around, she sees some berries, and wanders over to investigate them, hoping that this was the right bush. ✯ [ I'm back ]
"Of course we can," Stealthcreek purred. She looked at Emeraldkit "would you like to play?" |

Smokekit sat down a few mouselengths away from Snowdapple, fixing her with his soft stare and mumbling a faint greeting. Dovekit shook her head to clear it of drowsiness, stretching her legs in the sunlight. "Hello Snowdapple," she purrs loudly, already becoming close to the she-cat, "that's okay, we were going to get up anyways." Elmkit bounded out of the den, bouncing around Snowdapple in circles and brushing her with his tail. "Hello! What do you want to do today?" he meowed energetically, having forgotten about the previous day's sadness. |

"Of course we can," Stealthcreek purred. She looked at Emeraldkit "would you like to play?" Emeraldkit watched Stealthcreek through half closed eyes before deciding that playing a game wouldn't hurt, as long as Pearlkit stayed within his view. He nodded at the she-cat and then flicked his tail across his sisters flank, "let's go find some moss." he meowed, bounding along the camp wall in search for the plant. Pearlkit followed her brother happily, flicking her ears to show that Stealthcreek should follow. She ran ahead of him, sniffing among the stones for moss. |

Pearlkit yowled excitedly, attracting the attention of her brother and Stealthcreek, as well as other cats around camp. "I've found some!" she exclaimed, tearing moss from underneath a large stone and rolling it into a ball with her paws.
Emeraldkit trotted over to his sister, crouching down behind the rock and waiting for a chance to jump at her.

Applepelt leaned down, still keeping his distance from Thawkit. He didn't want to crowd the kit, and some small talk might help him relax a bit. "My name is Applepelt. I hope you don't mind if we talk for a little?" Thawkit kneaded the ground with his paws and licked some dirt off his chest. "O-okay, what do you want to talk about?" he mewed, flicking his tail over his paws. "We can do whatever you guys want to do unless someone could get hurt." Snowdapple purred loving that Elmkit had energy even though he just woke up. Smokekit stared at Snowdapple and suggested, "we could play hide and seek." He glanced at his siblings for approval. Dovekit nodded slowly, her white tail flicking over the earth. "Sure!" she mewled, looking around camp for some hiding spots. Elmkit simply raced across camp, yelling over his shoulder that Snowdapple should close her eyes. |

Snowdapple immediately closed her eyes and started to count mousetails while they hid. She waited until 20 mousetails passed and said "ready or not here I come." Before she took off to find the kits.

I was hoping to get to know you; what your interests are, what you want to do, that sort of thing. And you can ask me any questions you want as well." |
