"No." Finch spoke up firmly, looking from Shaw to Grace and back. "It...it wasn't that bad." He broke off, staring helplessly at Shaw as if begging her to give him different news.
Shaw stared back, looking upset. "I'm sorry, Harold. I wish I could tell you something else."

Reese pulled Shaw aside, giving Finch some privacy. "Is there anything you can do?"
"It's okay, Harold." said Grace. "This isn't the worst way to go, right?" She ended her sentence with a scared little laugh.

Finch limped over slowly and looked down at her, heart thumping. "I just got you back." He whispered in an oddly high-pitched tone.
Shaw shook her head. "Even if I had the right equipment it'd be tricky." She told him. "She's just not going to make it."

H&R)
Reese nodded sadly. "Alright. Thanks Shaw."
"We got to see each other again. That's worth so much to me." said Grace. "It's okay that it didn't last as long as we wanted."
"Hey!" 'Henry Gale''s voice came from behind the steel door. "Hey - I know someone's guarding me! I wanna talk to someone!"

Finch took Grace's hand and held it tightly in his hand, blue eyes wide. "I don't think I can walk away again." He told her, voice cracking.
Shaw shook her head. "Don't thank me." She ordered, looking seriously at her partner.
Greer, who happened to be on watch, ignored "Henry". Wasn't his problem unless the prisoner was getting to noisy.

"Hey!" repeated the voice. "I'm serious! I need to talk to you now, I-I think I'm going into shock! I think something went wrong with taking the arrow out!" Cas ceased his staring at the wall momentarily to glance curiously at the door. He didn't sound like anyone he knew from the ferry...and he was apparently a prisoner here...so who was he?
Reese nodded. "Okay." He wanted to say more, but somehow he knew it wouldn't be helpful.
"Then how about we walk together?" said Grace suddenly. "One last time. To get married, before..." She trailed off. "Nevermind - stupid idea."

Finch's blue eyes lit up as he understood her idea. He leaned down and gently kissed her hand. "Better late then never." He murmured almost inaudibly.
Greer walked close enough to the door to answer, but no closer. "Right. And I'm an idiot."

There was a small thump from the other side, then silence.

Greer waited a minute, then knocked warily on the door. "Hello?" Assuming there was silence, he stepped back and raised his gun. "Step away from the door." He ordered, and carefully tapped in the code, pointing his gun directly at whatever was going on inside.

The door swung open. Greer could see no one inside from where he was standing. From across the room, Cas has taken advantage of the distraction and was attempting t pick the lock on the handcuffs.

"I'm not walking into the most cliched trap in existence." Greer said, unimpressed. "Knock it off now and I won't chain your tail up for trying." He didn't seem to hear Cas.

Still no response. The room stayed quiet.
Cas continued to attempt lockpicking, wondering why he'd never asked Dean for instructions. It looked so easy...

"I'm coming in." Greer decided aloud. "Try anything and I won't hesitate." He stepped into the room, instantly aiming his gun at whatever he saw. He was bound to notice Cas's endeavor sooner or later but he hadn't yet.

With a tiny click, Cas's handcuffs finally came off. Slipping them quietly on to the bed, he got up and started to cross the room.
'Henry' launched himself from the high-up fake windowsill, landing on Greer's back and attempting to disarm him.

Greer jammed his elbows back, aiming for "Henry's" stomach. He hadn't for a moment believe the whole "suddenly dying" thing, but it was something of an unwritten law that you had to check. He was also confident in his ability to restrain a very injured man who looked somewhat out of shape.
Just then, Emma turned the corner, stopping abruptly when she saw Cas. She stared up at him, silent.

'Henry' went tumbling to the floor, but quickly recovered and grabbed the gun, angling it away from his face and trying to wrestle it away from Greer.
Cas stopped short, staring at the girl, then kept walking determinedly towards the entrance, deciding to ignore her.

Emma tilted her head, smiled, and stuck a foot out to trip the escapee.
Greer held on like a snapping turtle, using all his military training to batter the Other. He almost shouted for help, but something held him back. Deep down he knew it was pride- how do you admit you needed help fighting some desperate, out of shape guy who played the oldest trick in the book- but he told himself he was just sure he didn't need help.

Ben kicked out, aiming for Greer's knee, and still twisting the gun as far as he could.
Cas tripped, sprawling on the floor. He lay there for a split second, then heaved himself up again. "I need to leave, little girl." he explained, pushing her out of the way and continuing towards the door.

Emma stuck out her foot again, but this time jerked it to a different spot in front of him so he wouldn't anticipate where it would be. "Why?" She asked in a monotone.
Greer bared his teeth as the blow made contact, but still held onto the gun, trying alternately to tear and shake it out of the prisoner's hand. "ESCAPED PRISONER IN THE HATCH." He shouted finally, realizing that this man was better trained than he'd anticipated. When he got a moment, he'd grab his knife.

'Henry' pushed back suddenly, bashing Greer in the face with the gun.
Cas skipped sideways to avoid being tripped again, frowning in confusion at the strange child in front of him. "I have done nothing to warrant being a prisoner here." he explained.

Greer grunted, stumbling backwards. his hands left the gun for just a moment, and in that instant he snatched his knife from his back pocket and slashed at 'Henry's' stomach.
Emma darted to the other side, trying to anticipate where he'd be next and trip him. "Then why are you here?"

"These people probably think I'm someone else." said Cas, now darting with comical speed to the opposite side of the doorway to try and get past the girl. He stood stock still, tense, trying to figure out which side to dash to.
'Henry' jumped back, avoiding the knife with clearly trained precision, and pulled the trigger. The awkward angle caused the bullet to ricochet violently without hitting either target.

Henry wasn't the only one trained. Greer hair jumped, half rolled out of the way, trying to cover the exit. He slashed again with the knife, this time for the Other's ankle.
"Or maybe you're lying and I should just stop you now." Emma suggested, standing with her chest heaving in excitement, arms slightly apart from her body as she waited for his next move.

He tripped, sprawling on the ground with a cut on his ankle. He rolled over, preparing to fight back.
Hearing the gunshot, Cas realized he was out of options. Wincing a little, he gently shoved Emma out of the way and tried to make a run for the stairs.

Realizing with disappointment that the game was over, Emma pulled a gun out of her jeans and clicked it menacingly at Cas's back. "Don't move." She said in a stony tone.
Greer took advantage of this moment, grabbing the gun and attempting to both get it back and use it to batter the prisoner. Sweat broke out on his forehead, and he was completely concentrated on the fight.

"You're not going to shoot me." said Cas confidently, turning and backing towards the door.
'Henry' ceased fighting as the gun hit him in the face. "Alright, alright - you win, soldier." he said coldly.

"Yeah, you bet I do." Greer wrenched the gun away from him and stood, pointing it steadily at Henry's face. "Now get up and get back in your cage." He ordered, triumphant.
"Wanna bet?" Emma fired, aiming at Cas's right shoulder.

"Three minutes with the guy you brought in this morning, and I stop trying to escape." said Henry. "You know I'll get out eventually."
Cas jumped, the bullet having barely missed him due to Emma's inexperience. "...Fine." he said at last, reluctantly raising his hands in the air.

Greer turned his head slightly to the side, hearing the gun but not taking his eyes off Henry. "Everything okay out there Cas?" He called, fingering his gun. Henry's offer, in his opinion, was a terrible one. Sure, let the homicidal guy chat with his homicidal friends, because he promised to play nice. Yeah right. Still, he'd bring it up to Mayfair.
"Great." Emma decided to pretend it had been a warning shot, and the edges of her lips twitched up in something like a smile. "Go back to bed." She turned her head, hearing Greer. "I got him." She called excitedly.

Scowling at Emma, Cas silently returned to the bed and sat down.
"Think about it." said Henry, returning to his usual position in the corner.
