The she-cat growled, lashing out with her hind paws at her apprentice's shoulders, aiming to knock her away from the stump. Morningrose shifted her weight on the sand, her fur bristling.

Fortunately, Midnightpaw had enough room to duck her mentor's hind legs, but she still couldn't get to the stump. Thinking fast, she attempted a large leap to land on Morningrose's back and get a good grip, so she could use her own hind legs to pummel her opponent.

Mintpaw looked up as Redfang spoke. Squinting in the direction the former rouge was looking, she caught sight of Foxflight. What did she want with him? "That's Foxflight," she meowed, looking back at Redfang. "Do you know if he has a mate at all?" Redfang asked. |

Good morning!) Mintpaw stared blankly at Redfang. A mate? The apprentice couldn't quite understand the attraction of mates. It didn't make sense to her. She turned her gaze back on Foxflight. "No," she meowed slowly. "He doesn't." She waited curiously for Redfang's reaction. Perhaps it would help her understand better. "Maybe I should introduce myself to him." Redfang said, "Since I am new to the clan and all." |

"A box." Redfang replied, "I was on a big boat(cruise ship) and got caught by twolegs. They trapped me in a box, and threw me off the boat. I don't know how long I was in that thing, but soon I found myself on a sandy area. I tried to find my way back home, which is in twolegplace...But it looks like I'm far from there now..."

"No, not exactly. I was in a group of cats(similar to BloodClan, or a rebuilt one. You decide  ). We were lead by this blue-gray tom named Badgerstar...he had folded ears for some reason(Badgerstar is a Russian blue and Scottish fold mix, and an OC of mine). We all wore collars with dog teeth like this because it was tradition. We all made sure that we trained to be fierce and tough, that no one would stand in our way. We weren't kittypets. We were a clan, too. I can't remember the name, it was so long ago..." (Redfang is basically repeating her backstory. So, I quoted it from a past post instead.) |

Morning everyone!)
Morningrose shrieked in surprise as Midnightpaw landed heavily on her shoulders, and the she-cat threw her weight to one side, hoping to knock the apprentice off balance. Morningrose's red fur was bristling so much the slender she-cat looked nearly double her normal size, and her silver paws were dull, the pale fur choked with sand and dust disturbed by their fight.

Pretty sure it's Night rn and yeah sure!) "Well seeing as you were in a twolegplace, her being a kittypet wouldn't exactly be surprising," Foxflight meowed dryly. Plenty of her 'Clan' had probably been kittypets. A paw in each world. If her Clan could even claim to be a Clan. Which he doubted. They were probably just kittypets who had heard stories of Clans surviving out in the wild and decided that it would be fun to play survival as well. "But there was this one kit in the clan for a while, though. Her name was Sandkit. Badgerstar and Mollystep would always be fighting over her for some reason. Then one day, we chased her out of our clan. It was our job to find her and bring her back. But I forget why. It was so long ago..." |

Lostkit watched the waves slam against the rocks at the base of the cliff, craning her neck to peer over the edge without falling forward. How ironic would that death be. The cat who lives in the cliffs dying by falling off of them.

Her shoulders stiffened but she didn't turn. "Well, that's true," she muttered. "Last time I checked I can't fly, or swim amazingly well. I'm sure a fall like that would kill anyone." Now her slender head turned, her green eyes narrowing as they met his. "Even you. Hello, Night."
