{Okayyyy}
Foxpaw did let out a small huff as Foampaw came bouncing closer, butting into his side with her head. "I am awake, mousebrain," he responded, swatting at her playfully with his front right paw, "But it's too early to be this active." The sun had barely even risen over the horizon and he was already being asked to wake up and get on with normal Clan business. The large tom had no idea how long it would take him to get used to that, probably a rather long time seeing as how much he liked his sleep and just lazing around doing nothing. Though he was sure Sandstar wouldn't appreciate it and would never make him a warrior if he didn't do anything for the clan. He was always worried that she was going to take back her word and kick him out for being useless.
Slowly rising up into the standing position, the appreciate fought back another yawn as he started tiredly dragging himself forward after the two warriors."I can walk just fine myself," though he really didn't want to be walking at all. The tomcat was making extra sure to pay attention to where he was going just in case he did something stupid like trip over a rock and hurt himself. But he knew full well that he was just going to end up getting distracted eventually by Foampaw.
Out in front beside Hazelfall, Swiftsky led the small patrol towards the olive fields, tail held out high behind her as she watched the two apprentices following behind. "I wonder how long it will take the Clan to be full of completely Clan born cats," she mused as they walked, green eyes turning to the older tomcat beside her. For now, most of the cats had come from outside the Clan, though that was to be expected as it was still a new Clan and hadn't;t been around for that long. But they were growing in number now. "But I don't suppose it ever will, Sandstar is too kind and will take in anyone." Though for that, Swiftsky was thankful.

"You're a half dead awake, then," Foampaw teased, laughing as the tom swatted at her. She took the swat like a champ, or that's how she would have described it. She automatically flinched back, but she wouldn't say she did. Foampaw had stood there and took his swat without reacting at all and that was going to be her story for that if any cat asked. "It's never too early to be active. Don't you want to get all the prey before some other cat does? Those dumb rogues might take all our prey if we don't catch it first." The blue-eyed she-cat unsheathed her claws for a second as if to show what she would do should a rogue appear on the territory. Rogue, loner, whatever she had been born as she was a Clan cat now, and anything other than a Clan cat on her beach was going to be questioned. And she had to be awake and active to make sure no rogue or loner stole Clan prey. With this in mind Foampaw ran somewhat ahead, her fur bristling. "Alright!" She called back to Foxpaw as she sprinted in front of Swiftsky. "But I'll be your paws if you change your mind!"
For the time being Hazelfall merely pushed aside the apprentices' chatter to concentrate on what was in front of him and what Swiftsky had to say. He angled his ears in the she-cat's direction as he parted his jaws to scent the air. Nothing. Knowing that the coast was clear the brown tabby felt himself relax muscles that he didn't even know had gone stiff. It was hard for him to get used to being protected by a Clan instead of him needing to protect himself on his own. It would certainly take him time to get used to every aspect of Clan life. And speaking of Clan life... Hazelfall shrugged his shoulders. He mulled over the comment for a moment, thinking it through as thoroughly as he could. "I'm not sure. I'm probably too old for a she-cat to want to be my mate," he teased. Deep down he would like to get a chance to actually raise a family, a family that didn't lose their mother and then all but one of the kits get taken away by twolegs, but he wasn't sure if he could love another cat after Agape. "The first litter born from our current members will be the first true Clan cats, the first full-blooded generation. It's exciting to see who will be the lucky two to have SeaClan's first true Clan kits." Hazelfall was by no means a matchmaker or anything, but he couldn't wait for a pair of cats to get together. It would show just how far SeaClan had come.

Foxpaw really did feel as though he was far too tired to be playing around like this. Maybe in a couple of hours when he had properly and his brain was capable of functioning at a proper speed. "Those dumb rogues still need to eat as well," he did have to point out, flicking his tail just a little as he padded along. Not every cat wanted to be a part of the clan and he could understand that, and he felt as though there was enough food to go around. And the Twolegs did like leaving food out for stray cats as well, but he knew better than to stay these kinds of things out loud. He was a member of a clan now and needed to act like it. The Clan came first and every non-clan cat should be chased away. Not that Foxpaw really enjoyed chasing cats away or fighting with them. Some were just starving and wanted food.
Though as Foampaw did sprint ahead, leaving him just trailing behind the group, Foxpaw sighed a little and picked up the pace to try and catch up."Don't leave me behind!"
"Foampaw! Don't run too far ahead," Swiftsky called out as her apprentice went bounding forward, turning her head towards Foxpaw who had been left behind them, "Come on Foxpaw, pick it up." There was a little bit of a rush, all the prey could be gone by the time they got there at this rate and that would just be a shame as it was teeming earlier, all sorts of rodents scuttling around under the olive trees.
Shaking her head a little, the warrior once again turned her attention back to the older tom, considering his words for a moment."I don't know about that, you are still a quite handsome cat," she purred affectionately, trying to lift his spirits up a little. And he was dedicated as well, any she-cat would be lucky to have him as a mate she was sure. "It is exciting, it will be a momentous occasion in the clan I am sure," she continued as they drew closer to the fields. The first true-blooded clan cats, the future of the clan would be placed on their little shoulders and it was exciting to think about.

Foxpaw did have a point, but there was plenty of land that wasn't Clan territory for rogues to find food in. They could even head to the twolegplace if they were desperate enough. Twolegs were always willing to feed stray cats. A moon before Foampaw had left her family to join the Clan her mother had brought back some food from twolegplace when hunting was hard. The food had been delicious and quite filling. "There are other places for the rogues to hunt," Foampaw mewed with a thoughtful tip of her head. "They can fish in the ocean. We don't have the whole coastline." While Foampaw would love for the Clan to have the whole ocean to themselves, the she-cat knew it wasn't possible. The coastline stretched on forever, and walking on forever would be a pain to patrol every day! Now sprinting onward, Foampaw let out a loud laugh. She stopped in her tracks and turned to eye the three other cats she was with. "There ya go, Foxpaw, you're walking faster now!" The she-cat smiled with a puff of her chest fur. "I'm staying right here, don't worry, Swiftsky." Foampaw didn't plan on running off too far ahead. Besides, Foxpaw would never catch up with her if she ran out of sight.
Maybe they had woken Foxpaw up too early. He needed to get used to carrying out duties before the sun had even completely risen, but Hazelfall did feel somewhat bad for the large apprentice. Instead of just throwing him into the mornings maybe they needed to slowly get him used to waking up early. The brown tabby stopped for a moment to nudge Foxpaw. "If you really are that tired camp isn't too far behind. Go back and rest if you need." His words were quiet and even concerned. If Foxpaw was too tired to keep up then something could very easily get him, and Hazelfall didn't want that to happen. Bringing his attention back to Swiftsky, Hazelfall brightened up, laughter dancing in his green eyes. "Perhaps so, but I'm growing older by the second. I'll be happy enough to just watch the kits of other warriors grow." He truly would even if that meant he would never raise a family like he had wanted to with Agape. Even now he wondered if his one son, Red, still felt angry about him joining the Clan. Probably, Hazelfall thought. He never liked the idea of the Clan even when it first started. Shaking away the thoughts, the tabby purred as Swiftsky went on with her comments. "It truly will be. Sandstar herself will want to be there at their birth, I'm sure." Hazelfall smiled at the thought of the Clan coming together for when that miraculous moment arrived. "Who knows, Foxpaw and Foampaw may be the first to give us full-blooded Clan cats," he joked, eyeing Foxpaw with humor and then looking ahead at the little Foampaw as she bounced on her paws in wait for the rest of the patrol. He then turned his gaze back on Swiftsky. "It may even be you, only StarClan knows."

{Morning! I'm back.}
Foxpaw didn't really want to talk about this subject for very much. He did feel as though the Clan needed to change a little, they should allow cats from outside to hunt on their territory if they wanted because technically, it had probably been their territory before SeaClan made their home there. "I know," he responded a little sullenly, "But, I bet some cats are still trying to get used to not being allowed here anymore." Foxpaw himself had only come across the Clan because he found himself hunting on the same land he was walking across now. But the tomcat knew better than to complain about it for too long and so just kept his head down and tried to speed up so he didn't get left. "I'm fine," he meowed a little brighter as Hazelfall stated that he could go back if he wanted, speeding up to catch up with the smaller apprentice out in front.
At least they had been partly right, all this walking was waking him up, but so long as he could have a nap later then he was sure he wouldn't just end up falling asleep on his paws.
Swiftsky watched the two younger cats for a moment, amusement written clearly in her eyes. She couldn't really remember being that young anymore, her life before the Clan. She had always been a loner, born on the Twoleg streets to an abandoned kittypet mother and grew up there scouring for scraps to live off of so she didn't starve. Clan life was better, they looked out for each other and there were more cats to hunt and bring home food, more to protect each other from dangers. Yes, it had been a good decision to join the Clan when she hadn't and now all they needed was for more cats to agree that it was a good idea, though she knew some would always be against it.
"You never know, Hazelfall," she continued with a small dip of her head, "There could be some lucky she-cat out there waiting to win your affection." She just wanted to make the older warrior feel better, it would be sad to see him eventually end up in the Elders den by himself. "I can see Sandstar wanting to be there for every new birth, she just seems like that type of cat." Their leader did care about everyone in the Clan and Swiftsky knew that she just wanted to see the cats under her care to survive and prosper. Hazefall's next words did cause her some pause. "We shall see, indeed," she agreed before bounding forward a little, as they finally reached the hunting ground for that day.

(Sorry, went to a National Honors Society thing last night.)
Shimmerfrost stepped back and looked at the jostling water with a small frown. The fish were gone now, she'd have to go back to shore and wait. Shimmerfrost sighed and turne, her eyes going wide as the hiss reached her ears and a cat was flying at her. Shimmerfrost twisted her body and jumped away, narrowly missing the other cats claws. She tensed and moved to watch him, hissing lowly. He didn't smell like a clan cat. "What are you doing on clan territory?" She hissed, trying to manuever herself onto land while keeping an eye on the cat.

[ morning! c: ]
Unlike with Foxpaw the young Foampaw was more into the idea of chasing off trespassing cats. In a sense she could see where Foxpaw was coming from. Most of these strays probably didn't understand the borders all that well, not yet at least. SeaClan needed to be patient with them for the time being, but Sandstar had been able to secure this territory somehow and the non-Clan cats had to know that this was Clan territory now. "Yeah," Foampaw mewed after a moment. She sighed softly. "I'll go easy on those rogues for now, but once I'm a warrior," she gave a toothy smirk-grin, "they'll know better than to cross me!"
After speaking with Foxpaw Hazelfall watched as the two apprentices attempted to keep up with one another - or, rather, Foxpaw trying to keep up with Foampaw. The little she-cat was certainly a big ball of energy. Hazelfall almost couldn't see how Swiftsky handled the apprentice. It was amusing to think about - Swiftsky racing after Foampaw as the apprentice darted off. He didn't think much into the rest of those thoughts as the black and white she-cat spoke up.
The tom chuckled at the female's words. He leaned forward and nudged her playfully. He could tell that she was just trying to make him feel a bit better about himself, but he didn't feel bad about his age or how that might keep him from ever having another mate. He was content with what life brought to him. "Who knows. We'll just have to wait and see what StarClan has in store," he mewed with the faintest of shoulder shrugs. A smile placed itself over his muzzle. "You're right. Sandstar would want to witness every new Clan member being born." Sandstar was a fantastic leader, Hazelfall was sure of that. He had never been much of a leader himself, but he wouldn't follow a cat he didn't think was fit to be a leader. Sandstar was that kind of cat, the kind of cat that Hazelfall would follow for as long as he could still walk.
Hazelfall knew they were in the Olive Fields the moment the sharp tang of olives hit his nose. He scrunched his face up for a moment. "I don't think I'll ever get used to this scent," he muttered under his breath. Eventually, though, the brown tabby pushed aside his disgust to concentrate on the task at paw - gathering the prey Swiftsky had killed earlier.
- - -
An angry growl slipped from the tabby tom when he realized he had missed the she-cat. He was standing in the middle of the stream now, wet and all the more angry. His thick tail lashed back and forth. Red bunched his muscles together, growling deeply from within his chest. "Clan territory?" Red spat with true venom in his words. "Your little Clan thinks it can just move in and take land whenever it wants? You don't have any right to this land anymore than any stray cat does," the tom spat, more venom in his voice.
Red began to creep toward the white she-cat with fangs bared. "You seem to be all alone. That's perfect." As soon as the words slipped off his tongue the tabby sprung forward once again, aiming right at the she-cat in hopes of landing a hit on her this time.

Foxpaw could only really scoff a little at Foampaw's words, shaking his head a little. "I'm going to be a better warrior than you!" He stated proudly, puffing his chest out a little and holding his head up, "Hunting is more important than chasing off other cats." If they didn't have decent hunters, then the Clan cats would just end up starving or having to trek into the Twoleg village to beg. "Those rogues will be more worried about me stealing all of the food more than they'll be scared of you." Not that he ever really thought it was possible for one cat to catch all the prey and leave nothing left for any loners or rogues to come across and catch for themselves.
Padding after the two apprentices, Swiftsky chuckled a little, the tip of her black tail twitching just a little. But then she moved her eyes from them and instead looked back to the older warrior still keeping step with her. "StarClan works in funny ways," she did agree with a nod of her head, "No one can really know what they have planned." Only the Medicine Cat and Leader ever spoke with them, and even then nothing was very clear. But Swiftsky tried not to think about it. "I just hope that the first litter of kits is healthy," she did have to add, a little worry lacing her normally light meow, "And they come when the weather is good and the prey is plentiful." Though the weather was normally always good, it never got very cold and now was incredibly rare, but the heat did bring other dangers like dehydration.
Her nose wrinkled up at the familiar overwhelming smell of the olives, but she had was still used to it from her previous hunting trip here not that long ago."What do you think about a little competition for our apprentices while we gather the prey I left behind?" She asked, a playfulness in her eyes, "Whoever can catch the most prey before we gather up everything is the winner."

A better warrior than her? Yeah right! "I'm gonna be so great that Sandstar will name me deputy while she's doing my warrior ceremony. Then I'll become Foamstar!" The apprentice teased her denmate, blue eyes sparking with mischievous amusement. "You're gonna have some name like Foxsleep," she teased. "And I'll be Foamsea, so great I'll be named after the Clan." The she-cat flicked her tail, stopping for a second to let Foxpaw walk up a bit closer to where she had sprinted off to. "I guess you're right. If we're hungry we can't chase off other cats." The white and silver female snickered, rolling her eyes at Foxpaw. "They won't be scared of a sleepy fluff ball like you." After she gave her little teasing comment she turned around and sprinted on ahead, not at all fazed by the thick scent of olives.
Apprentices sure seemed to be a pawful all together, Hazelfall thought. He chuckled silently under his breath before turning back to Swiftsky, smiling softly toward her. He was thoroughly enjoying his time with her; she seemed like a wonderful cat and the kind of cat that Hazelfall would want as a friend. "That they do," he mewed with a nod. "That's what we all hope for, a healthy litter of kits. Prey needs to be running like it is now for kits to grow healthy and strong." The island proved to have wonderful weather for the most part, and prey typically ran very well, but Hazelfall had been alive long enough to know that droughts happened. Heatwaves happened. When the weather became too hot, too dry, the prey died, the water dried up. If that were to happen then kits would barely have a chance to survive. It would take some planning to have a healthy litter.
After a while the brown tabby noticed the scent of the olives dimming as he grew used to it. He flicked his tail, looking around to make sure nothing was hiding out in the shadows of the trees. When all seemed clear he stepped forward, only stopping when Swiftsky spoke up. Hazelfall's green eyes gleamed with interest. "That sounds like a good idea," he agreed with a nod.
As if only being able to hear what she wanted to hear, and what she wanted to hear usually involved her directly, Foampaw turned to eye the two warriors. She kinked her tail straight up into the air. "A competition? Oh, I'm gonna win!" Foampaw gave a little bounce, her blue eyes now shining with determination to win.

Foxpaw laughed a little at Foampaw's words. "No way, that's just stupid. Sandstar won't make you deputy," not right now, anyway. Maybe in the future, but he did remember that Sandstar still did need to pick a deputy, but an apprentice was not going to be an option. "I am not going to be Foxsleep!" He did retort, snorting just a little, "I'm going to have a really cool name and it's going to make you really jealous. Besides, I'm older than you and I'm going to be made a warrior first, then I can boss you around a bit." Of course, he was just teasing the smaller she-cat, but it was nice to think about. "And those rouges are going to be scared of me, I look more threatening than you do," though just because he was large didn't mean he liked jumping into fights.
Swiftsky just hoped that things would be nice when the first litter arrived. They didn't need heartbreak and tough conditions for newborns to grow up in. Though she was sure that there would be troubles at some point, it was just not very nice to think about and so she did try to push it out of her head for the time being. "If the times get tough I do at least know that the Clan will pull together and work together. That is one of the reasons I joined," she liked it being in a group, there was less to worry about compared to when you were living by yourself.
Foampaw seemed to be in agreement to the competition, which was good enough for her. "Then it's settled then," she meowed as she looked at the two apprentices, "You will have a competition to catch as much prey as possible while Hazelfall and I collect the prey I killed earlier."
Foxpaw did groan a little, but he was still determined to beat Foampaw, nodding his head a little as he nudged the other apprentice, "You're going down Foampaw. I'm going to catch the most."

Screen Name: ρłαgυegı .. Cat Name: Shellfang Gender: Tom Age in Moons: 42 Moons Appearance & Personality: A tall, skinny figured and ivory pelted tom, his ears rimmed in black and short pelt cut to the skin by an assortment of nicks and tears. The most obvious of which lay in his missing left ear tip and the arcing cut over the bridge of his nose. He has rounded frigid blue eyes, and throughout his pelt are tiny freckles of black and darker grays, forming in clusters throughout his short pelt. Shellfang is in fact polydactyl, leaving him with unusually large forepaws that have allowed him to leave on his enemies a signature mark with each clawing. He has a busy mind and as of such, he's known to be slow with his responses and often times offer conflicting ideas dependent on the facts presented at the given moment. Very analytical, he relies on facts and expressed details to function properly. A realist to the core, this very literal tom cat is oblivious to sarcasm and will take anything said to him far too seriously. Rank: Warrior Kin: Unknown.
Screen Name: ρłαgυegı .. Cat Name: Gannetcloud Gender: She Cat Age in Moons: 33 Moons Appearance & Personality: A ridiculously long furred soot gray and light silver feline, with a masculine appearance given her rounded face, broad muzzle, and tall silver-tufted ears. She has an array of gradients to her pelt, darker legs and paws having silver tipped toes, intermingling shades mixing throughout her pelt, and the only spark of color to be seen in her massive pale yellow eyes. Soft spoken, her mew coming in in a rather low and rumbly tone despite it's distinctly feminine pitch, Gannetcloud is an intellectual feline whom can be found hovering above the drama, only ever unsheathing her claws should it be in the face of prey. Clumsy to an extent, she picks her steps as carefully as possible, and even then gives the occasional trip on nothing other than her own fluffy feet. Modesty is her virtue, and as a warrior she finds early mornings to sit well with her, but very rarely will the often sleepy girl be found on any dusk patrols. Rank: Warrior. Kin: Unknown.

For all she knew Sandstar could make her deputy. The leader still needed to name one, and while there were some warriors right now, the deputy could certainly come from a very deserving apprentice like Foampaw herself. She rolled her eyes with good humor. "I'll be an amazing deputy. Sandstar would love to have me serve under her! And you'll just be Foxsleep," she teased once more. Foampaw bounded back and swatted Foxpaw over the ear in a playful manner. "Just because you're older doesn't mean you'll be made a warrior first. I'm gonna be a warrior sooner than you! In fact, I'll have Swiftsky tell Sandstar how amazing I am and she'll just have to make me a warrior!" The she-cat then snorted, rolling her eyes once more. "A rogue won't be scared of you, you're just a big fluff ball!" Foxpaw was so much more fun to be around when he was awake and not trying to fall asleep on his paws. Even if she teased him from dawn till dusk, Foampaw really did enjoy Foxpaw's company.
Hopefully when that first litter arrived everything would be perfect from the weather to the amount of prey. Hazelfall would hate to see any kit struggle during life because of being born during a harsh time. At least they had one another in a Clan. This wasn't the life Hazelfall had grown up in. He had been born a loner to loner parents. If something happened he only had his mother or father to care for him, and once he was old enough he had went out on his own. He had been by himself for some seasons. Then the Clan came along. Almost immediately Hazelfall had joined, taking a Clan name and the status of a warrior. He had seen the sense in a Clan and had followed Sandstar since the very beginning it seemed. He had tried talking his mate and remaining son into joining, but something happened to Agape...she simply died. Red, Hazelfall's son, blamed Hazelfall on Agape's death, blamed his father that it had been all his fault. Red then accused Hazelfall of running away from his problems when he joined the Clan. Ever since then Hazelfall hadn't seen his son, but he knew Red would never be friendly to him again.
Hazelfall sighed. He shook away the thoughts and brought himself back to the real world. He smiled gently over at Swiftsky. "We'll always have the Clan to help guide us and watch over us." With that said he brought his attention back to the competition. He nodded as Swiftsky spoke, purring in amusement as he watched the two apprentices debate on who was going to be the victor.
Foampaw chuffed. She shook her head and nudged Foxpaw right back a bit harder than he had. "Yeah, right! I'm gonna win this, then Swiftsky will tell Sandstar I'm ready to be a warrior!" With that the little she-cat ran off, darting to the other end of the Olive Fields. Foampaw knew she was going to have to really try; she had never been a good hunter.

{I have Sandstar open if you want to RP with her, otherwise, my other two are currently tied up atm}
Foxpaw bristled a little, fur rising a little in annoyance as his eyes narrowed at Foampaw. "I am not going to be Foxsleep," he protested with an angry lash of his tail, "And I am going to be a much better warrior than you. You just break the rules and sneak off all the time." He never saw the point in trying to sneak off, he had seen the sea many times before now and it was not all that amazing. Just huge and dangerous and he didn't like getting too close in fear of getting swept away and drowning. That was not a very nice to thing to think about. "You're not ready to be a warrior anyway," he huffed, sticking his nose up, "You need to be a better hunter before Swiftsky will consider asking Sandstar to make you a warrior." Probably, not that he actually knew how close the warrior was to considering Foampaw ready. "I am intimidating just because of my size," not that he was the biggest tom out there, but he was hardly fluffball material.
Swiftsky could only shake her head a little at the bickering apprentices, feeling as though she did have to cut in. "Neither of you is ready quite yet," she pointed out in a soft meow, "But keep working hard and you will get there." Foampaw was coming along nicely, she had a good fighting style, it was just the hunting they needed to work on, so this was the perfect exercise. While she did not know the ins and outs of Foxpaw seeing as she was not his mentor, she had a feeling he was not ready yet either.
The white and black she-cat chuckled a little as she watched Foampaw sprint off further down the trees, Foxpaw following close behind her. Only when they were alone did she turn her attention back to Hazelfall, "Come on, let's go and gather what I caught earlier." She turned her head, leading off to where she remembered burying the prey. Though she was calm as she trotted through the olive trees, her ears still swiveled, keeping an ear out for the two apprentices. If she could hear them, then she was sure that all the prey that might be around would be able to as well.

Sure, Foxpaw was annoyed, but that didn't mean Foampaw had to be as well. She shrugged her compact shoulders. "Fine. You can be Foxawake. Or, um, Foxclaw. How does that sound?" She'd give him an actual warrior name to see if that would calm his anger down a bit. Foxclaw sounded like a good name, right?
This time Foampaw narrowed her eyes a bit. She glanced at Foxpaw, tail-tip twitching slowly to the side and back. "The sea is worth sneaking out for. I don't see why Sandstar won't just let me go when I want to. I was born by the sea, right on the bank.I belong there," she mewed with conviction in her voice. The sea was just a part of who she was. If she didn't have that then she didn't know what she would do. The sea could be dangerous, Foampaw knew that, but she was smart enough to keep away during high tide or rough weather. "I'll make a great hunter, just you wait. Then I'll be ready to be a warrior," Foampaw exclaimed as she puffed out her chest. She'd show Swiftsky and Foxpaw! Padding on through the trees, the young she-cat swiveled her ears, searching for any sounds of scuttling mice. "I don't think you're that intimidating. You're not fluffy intimidating, you're fluffy cute," she mrrrowed with a swish of her tail.
Bouncing forward the young apprentice only stopped when something caught her attention. She paused. Crouching low to the ground, she signaled with her silver dusted tail for Foxpaw to do the same. Up ahead was a young mouse, slim but a meal nonetheless if she could catch it.
Foampaw was coming along well in her training, but so was Foxpaw. He still had trouble getting up early, but Hazelfall was sure the russet tom would grow out of that as he got used to Clan life more. He needed some training on his battle moves as well, but Hazelfall had confidence that Foxpaw would catch on to battle moves very quickly. He was on the right track to becoming a warrior in the next moon or so, that was for sure. Hazelfall was proud of the young tom. If a former kittypet could become a great warrior then any cat could do it.
The tom's whiskers twitched in amusement as he watched the two apprentices bounding off together. "They're a pawful," he mewed to Swiftsky with a laugh. "But worth it. They'll both make fine warriors." Hazelfall followed after Swiftsky with no problem. Every so often he would stop and check the surrounding area for any signs of danger. He would also check on the apprentices from time to time, making sure they were still on the right track or making sure they weren't in any danger. It would be a harsh blow for one of them to fall injured on what should be a light-hearted patrol.

He liked the breeze. Sea spray, sand and fresh air pelted him, cutting right through his short eggshell fur and battering into the sensitive pink skin beneath. Soaking up the sunshine, he was utterly content to just sit there kneading the sand beneath his abnormal forepaws. Then, a soft purr at his back. He tensed, springing from his relaxed pose and snapping his angular head around to the broad faced Gannetcloud whom had approached him from behind. "Aren't you due for patrol?" She inquired in that lowered sultry tone of hers, wide yellow eyes searching out his own pale blue ones for any hint of recognition. "No. If I had, I wouldn't have missed it." That was true. If he was anything, it was punctual. "Well, then maybe you could come with me back to camp and work on a few projects." She suggested helpfully, her tufted ears twitching forward. His nod was one of dubious consent, rising up and taking teetering steps toward the fluffy pelted she-cat. Really, she wasn't half as much for solitude as he was, but she worried sometimes with how keen he was on spending his time out and about instead of basking in the company of others at camp. So she walked with him back home, he own waddling stride hardly anything next to his elegant and sure footed step. She stumbled once or twice on nothing but the air between her feet, returning to the occupied camp with a puff of relieved air from her nose. At last. She found she disliked the quiet for any extended period of time- made her nervous... and lonely.
She left Shellfang with a few simple tasks, figuring the extra help to the unusually small Apprentice's den could help aleve the youngsters of some stress and allow them more time to be out and about, training with their mentors as they should be. She sat in the sunshine, watching from afar as Shellfang was able to easily busy himself. Stars, she wished her mind was so easy to distract.
{{ This is a very iffy starter for me lol, I'm sorry. whenever I join rps they seem to die out or I get ignored so I haven't been active here in quite a while, especially on clans. oxo I'm a bit out of practice.

Foxpaw tilted his head a little at the proper name she suddenly gave. "Foxclaw," he mused a little, considering it, "That's not bad, actually. But we don't get a say in names. Sandstar will do that." Though he could see himself being called Foxclaw. The tom himself would have suggested a warrior name for Foampaw, but he was terrible with names and couldn't actually think of anything.
"Because the sea is dangerous," he meowed, shuffling his front paws just a little, staring down at the ground, "Not to mention the Twolegs like to hang around there a lot, and the strong waves can easily wash cats away." Growing up he had heard horror stories of lone cats being washed out to sea and never heard from again. It was frightening and he didn't want to go anywhere near the ocean. But he could understand why she was drawn to it as she had been born there. "I'm not cute," he did have to huff with another irritated swish of his tail as he bound after the she-cat. Though this was a competition he would prefer working together.
Eventually, he scented the mouse long before his eyes saw it, jaw slightly parted to take in the scent as he slowed himself down, making sure that they were downwind from the mouse as he lowered himself into a crouch. "Do you want this one then?" He meowed softly, inclining his head towards the she-cat beside him.
Swiftsky nodded her head a little, an affectionate look in her eyes. "It's almost like raising them as your own," she meowed softly. Thinking about it, both you apprentices didn't have parents in the Clan, so she did almost see herself as a mother figure as well as a mentor. But yes, Hazelfall was quite correct about that, it was hard work, but it was worth it to see them grow and become great warriors. And she was sure they both would be great warriors and she wouldn't be surprised if they grew up to be cats kits eventually came to admire in the Clan.
Opening her jaw a little, the black and white she-cat was silent for a moment as she tried to scent out the two apprentices as it suddenly became very quiet, head turning just a little. "They must have found something," she meowed, keeping her pawsteps light just in case they also came across something. Just because they weren't having a competition themselves, that didn't mean that she would pass up on any prey they did come across.
----
Sandstar was silent as she sat on top of the High Rock, amber eyes like glass staring out at the Clan. Her tail hung over the edge of the rocks, swinging slightly as she eventually did move, ears swiveling towards the sound of two cats returning to camp. Shellfang and Gannetcloud, she noted from their scents. Slowly the small leader rose to her paws, stretching herself out to relieve some of the stress from sitting still for so long. Her mind had been distracted, worry clouding her thoughts for a long time now. StarClan had been silent for some time, she hadn't heard anything from them, which could be a good or a bad thing. The sandy pelted she-cat wanted to believe that she was doing the right thing by starting a Clan and taking in different cats, but she could never be sure.
Shaking her head a little and with one last stretch, she leaped off the top of the rocks she had been perched on with a strong push, landing softly on the ground and looking around for a moment. Shellfang seemed to be busy with something and so, instead, Sandstar padded towards Gannetcloud instead, dipping her head a little in greeting. "Enjoying the sun, Gannetcloud?"
{No it's fine! }

Once again Foxpaw had a point. He was right. Sandstar would determine what names the apprentices got once they advanced to the warrior position. Foampaw could only hope her warrior name would be something amazing. Foamclaw, Foamwave, Foamshark, Foamfang... She could go on and on with thoughts on what her name could be.
The sea was very dangerous. It was every bit as dangerous as it was beautiful. Foampaw longed to just sit down and watch the water ripple endlessly without being sneaky about it. She just wanted to walk along the edge where land met sea. She understood why Foxpaw didn't like it, but she loved it. That would never change. "You're right, but no matter how dangerous, I could never let the sea go." There would never be a day in which Foampaw would hate the ocean. It was something she was going to always love.
For a moment Foampaw seemed lost. She seemed far away and distant, like all thoughts were clouded. It was far from her usual self. Eventually she snapped out of her little reverie and turned back to her friend, tail flicking high through the air. "Well, I think you're cute. A cute furball." She flicked him with her tail right before ending the conversation with a hunters' crouch. She eyed a nearby mouse with narrowed focus. If she messed this up... "Going in," she whispered just loud enough for Foxpaw to hear. The apprentice prowled silently closer to the rodent, intent on the prey. Just when she was close enough did she push down and leap with outstretched claws. The silver and white she-cat fell onto the ground, hoping desperately that the mouse had been trapped between her two paws. Nothing. Foampaw hissed, jerking her head up to look for the mouse. It was scurrying away frantically. Foampaw growled and shot after it, pursuing it as fast as she could in hopes that it wouldn't run out of reach.
Hazelfall couldn't have said it any better - it was like raising them as his own. The tabby sighed. He had gotten to be a father for a few moons before he decided to join the Clan, before his old mate died, before his son disowned him as a father. Was training Foxpaw a replacement for all those lost times he could have had with his own kits? In a way it was, but nothing would ever been the same as raising his very own kits. A bittersweet smile curled over his muzzle. "It is. My...my own kit," he paused, thinking about his words. He wasn't very open about what had happened to his little family before joining the Clan, but he felt like Swiftsky was a trustworthy enough cat to open up to. "He was a bit older than Foxpaw when I joined the Clan. After that I haven't seen him. He thought the Clan was a dumb idea, just a way to group up weak cats to make them seem strong. Training Foxpaw gives me a chance to raise a kit to a full grown adult. Being a mentor is a blessing, something that shouldn't be taken lightly," Hazelfall mewed softly, his own affectionate look coming over him.
Pulling away from that topic, the brown tabby brightened up once more. His bittersweet smile turned into a genuine one, his green eyes alight with joy for the two apprentices. "Let's hope they bring back as much as you did. We'd have to make even more trips back and forth, though," he chuffed, whiskers twitching with hidden laughter. Hazelfall soon fell silent once more, wondering if they were close to where Swiftsky had buried some of the mice she had killed earlier.

[[ This looks like a lovely Clan! I'm just going to leave my forms partly done for now since I need to do some things first, but I'll let you know when I finish them~ nvn ]]
Falle's Character Save // Finished
Screen Name: Fαlleɴ Sтαrѕ Cat Name: Wildblossom Gender: Female Age in Moons: 32 moons Appearance & Personality: What a little bundle of joy this she-cat is. Wildblossom is a small, fluffy calico she-cat with vibrant yellow-green eyes. Just by looking at her, you can tell she is full of energy. Being quite the bubbly and excitable cat she has an aura of optimism. Wildblossom is the one who can turn your frown upside down. Not being the sharpest tool in the shed, there are times where she's at the borderline between naive and oblivious. Despite being a bit ditsy, she has a heart of gold. Rank: Warrior Kin: Sisters with Ospreycry; open to family relations
Screen Name: Fαlleɴ Sтαrѕ Cat Name: Ospreycry Gender: Female Age in Moons: 32 moons Appearance & Personality: Intimidating and elegant; who knew those two things could coincide with each other. Ospreycry is a fairly large she-cat with her long legs and rather muscular build. She has short white fur with large patches of black dappling her body and dark blue eyes. She is a fiery she-cat who isn't afraid to back down from anything. Passionate and determined, it is clear she is willing to risk her life to defend her Clan and the ones she loves. Being quite the feisty cat, Ospreycry is the one to act first and think later. She has a very sharp tongue and it doesn't help she has a quick temper well. It is clear this cat has had a rough past, but he doesn't let that get to him. Graystone is a rather mellow tom, quite laid-back and lax. Being quiet as well, it's rare to see him with bursts of excitement. He'll crack a smile here and there, always up for some humor, but he's usually one to maintain a cool demeanor. Rank: Warrior Kin: Open to family relations

Almondbranch is a lanky, brown Abyssinian tom with golden eyes. He's an awkward fellow who struggles with social interaction. This tom is easily flustered and feels he's an embarrassment in front of others. Almondbranch is quite the worry-wort and tends to be self-critical with how he is around others. Bye-the-bye he tries to avoid confrontation all together. If confronted however, he'll try his best to maintain a conversation as he wouldn't want to be rude. Under his timid shell he's a really sweet guy. Also, he is a superb climber. Not that he'd ever want to show that off. Rank: Warrior Kin: Open to family relations

"Just warming my pelt, Sandstar. And you?" Gannetcloud's response was given nearly immediately, her baritone mew answering in a kind manner as she turned that broad face of hers upon her leader. Oh, the two were a pair. Sandstar was so little, yet she carried herself so mightily. Gannetcloud could see easily enough why she'd be chosen to create a Clan. She carried herself with finesse, she hardly balked at a challenge, and she was quite honestly aspiring to the former Kittypet whom thought herself quite frankly spineless despite her large size. Two opposites, and yet they were speaking like old friends. Which, Gannetcloud mused, she almost supposed they were. "Shellfang was thinking again. Dangerous given who he is, so I put him to work if you don't mind. Those big paws of his work fantastic for pushing new fronds into the Elder's Den and Nursery." Was that a glimmer of amusement in her eye? Droopy obsidian whiskers trembled with the likes of her subtle nod toward humor, but aside from that, the large she-cat's attention turned to more serious matters.
Her round yellow eyes drank in the glossy stare of Sandstar, studying her posture a few moments longer than necessary, as in to make it obvious that she was doing so. "You look tense." A gentle observation, one that was hesitant to overstep. "Is something troubling you?" A warm fluffy pelt, great to lean on, and an open ear to any whom sought to vent their troubles. Sandstar seemed especially in need of someone that fit that description, and if Gannetcloud could offer it, then she surely would. If that weren't the case, she'd happily turn away from the curiosity peeking in her mind and allow Sandstar her space.
