name: Leo Castamere face claim: Marc Goldfinger / human - x / wolf - x age: born on August 20th & he is twenty-two years old description: Leo is a fire that burns bright. He's tall and lanky, but not lacking in muscle. Strength coils in every inch of his toned body, hidden under soft pale skin, and freckles. He is 6'1", freckled, and handsome. His hair is perhaps his most distinctive feature, curly, but kept to a reasonable length so it doesn't hide his eyes, and fire-red. Ginger and crimson weave together, interlocking in a battle for dominance on the shiny locks. In some lights, the red crimson is more focused, darkening his curls as if soaked in rich blood. Other times, it can be described as soft ginger orange, lighter and paler than the deep crimson. But even so, it's what he's known for when being described. He has a handsome face, although he is not any extraordinary beauty, with high and slim cheekbones, a square jaw and chin, and wider nose that appears to have been broken several times. Oddly though, his face is devoid of freckles, although the rest of his body seems to be splattered and flecked with them all over, ranging in tones from light ginger to dark red-brown. Under thin gingery brows, are his almond shaped eyes. the color is blue-gray, pale and soft and a little murky. Not quite bright or piercing. but rather cheerful and expressive. with a smile that could light up a room, a usually relaxed stance to his muscular body, and generally cheerful disposition, Leo doesn't quite seem to fit the cliches of a broody head enforcer. He'll leave those attitudes to Rowan. Leo is as warm as his hair, and has an easy going smile, that brings peace to many of his packmates. Although, don't mistake his laid back and outgoing nature for weakness. He is fierce, loyal to a fault, and scrappy in battle. He's one of the finest fighters in wolf form, hence his role as head enforcer. Leo is honest, but when it comes to secrets, he's the best at keeping them. Anything said to him will say locked in his heart, and he believes the trust of his packmates is the only thing that should matter to him. How will they feel protected, if they don't trust him first? he's an extrovert, drawing energy and peace from being around people, specifically his packmates. without them, Leo would be lost. while having red hair wouldn't necessarily mean his wolf form is red-hued, fate would dictate otherwise. His fur is not quite the same brilliant hue of his hair, it is more towards the auburn russet tones. hues of dark red twine in his undercoat, and some golden hues and creamy hints dominate the ends and accent him. The underneath of his muzzle and stomach is more golden red cream, and a faint stripe of darker reddish brown twines over his muzzle and up between his eyes and coloring his ears. His eyes are the exact hue of his eyes, a murky blue-gray that has no piercing brightness or distinctness. It's just soft blue surrounded by russet fur. scent: he smells distinctly of salt and ocean spray sexuality: homosexual history / family: history is wip / father - Alex Castamere, mother - Cassandra Castamere, sister - Aideen Castamere misc things: no crush or preference for mate
boop~ I hope he's alright ;3

Lachlan~
Lachlan's heart pumped blood and oxygen through his body, along with generous amounts of adrenaline. The buck had dropped all attempts to be inconspicuous, and was now flying through the brush, leading him through all the fallen debris. It headed deeper and deeper into the woods, leading him away from all civilization, but Lachlan persisted, the thrill of the kill going to his head and clouding his judgement. The dear leapt onto a log and over large ditch, and Lachlan followed suit, his claws digging into the rotting wood. The deer zigzagged through a narrow V in a tree, and Lachlan followed suit, both of his shoulders touching the trunk as he leapt through the narrow opening. With a powerful push off the tree trunk, he barreled into the deer, bringing it to the ground, killing it with a snap of the neck. He threw his head back, letting out a bone chilling howl.
He sat back on his haunches, staring at the deer, slowly falling from the adrenaline rush. The body in front of him seemed to nag him. He'd gone into the woods with the intent to kill, the intent to maim and harm. Suddenly, his stomach felt sick, and he rushed to a ditch, emptying last night's dinner into it. This killing... it was pointless. He had food to eat back with the pack, and yet he longed for warm flesh... He looked at the deer's glassy eyes and shuddered. He picked it up, morphed back into a human form, and slung it over his shoulders.
Lachlan had situated himself a little ways away from the pack, in an isolated cabin. As he trudged back through the woods, he realized how far he'd gone, how perilous the route was. He stumbled over a cluster of large, sharp rocks, and was grateful he hadn't fallen on those. Something was wrong. He had to go to breakfast this morning. No more eating on his own in the cabin. He couldn't face his mother, her cold stares, the anger that radiated off of her. Her face made his ears burn with ire. He'd never meant anything to her, and the only attention he'd ever gotten was her hate.
His family had taken everything from him, his friends, his hopes, his happiness. As far as he was concerned, he had no family left. His mother was dead to him, and some days he wanted to make her dead to the world. Returning to his cabin, he let the deer carcass slump into the bathtub, watched the blood pool from its neck and down the drain. He turned away from it, deciding to butcher it later. First it was the coyote, now the deer. He felt himself paling, and walked into his room, away from the sickening sight.
Lachlan's cabin was single floored, with a kitchen and dining area to the left, a living room and office in the center, and his sleeping quarter and bathroom on the right. In his living room, along with a coffee table, TV, and PS4 was a circle of punching bags. Five 110 lb punching bags were arranged in a circle. Lachlan stepped inside, and went for rounds upon rounds of kicks and punches, whirling in circles to hit the punching bags. Eventually he took his mitts off, and just let his knuckles go raw, losing himself in dodging the now wildly swinging punching bags and aiming elbows, fists, and feet. Once he'd blown off his steam, he set a tablecloth on the dining room table, and skinned and gutted the deer. Packaging it into the freezer, he seared a veal steak for breakfast, never having been one for breakfast foods. Packaging it into a plastic container, he packed a bag for the walk to the other cabins. Tossing in a book, a canteen, his breakfast, and his phone and charger, he set off for the dining hall.
Lachlan often wondered what happened in others' minds, if they were as troubled as his. He frowned at this, noting that most people didn't kill their brother. Pushing the thought out of his mind, he hitched up his bag, and set at a brisk jog.

elaina rose calden hey, you got my back on the wall i think it's time that these walls crumble and fall yes you indeed love me but will you come when i call? but would you come when i call? - - - - - - - - - - - - - Elaina curled her thin fingers into her long honey-golden hair, lathering shampoo gently into it as she tilted her head back into the jet of hot water. Her eyes fluttered closed in bliss as soapy water streamed down her sides, burning warmth seeping into her bones. Humming a quiet melody to herself, she turned around to reach for the bottle of soap and -
The image of a girl flashed in front of her mind, blocking out her vision of everything else. She was undeniably beautiful; a lightly tanned complexion and lovely face, framed by milk-chocolate toned hair and deep brown eyes. Her lips curled upwards in the semblance of a devilish smirk just before her picture disappeared, fading into a blurrier scene that Elaina could've sworn looked like a twilight-lit forest, shades of cobalt blue accented with rosy pinks and golds painting the sky. But then, suddenly, the sky seemed to shift into deep, reddish tones, as if some sort of crimson liquid was raining down from the heavens. Crimson like -
Elaina's sight returned to normal and she stumbled, her back hitting smooth tile as her hands instinctively came up to clutch the wall for support. Her breathing turned ragged as she fought to steady herself again, blood pulsing wildly in her veins.
What the hell was that?
A year. It had been nearly a year since her last vision, and honestly, Elaina was grateful for the long silence after a seemingly neverending list of threats against the pack since Rowan became the Alpha. Her premonitions never seemed to foretell anything good happening to the pack, or at least not exactly - they always warned of trouble and danger lying ahead, though the outcome itself could rarely be seen. But this new vision... what was most chilling about it was that she had absolutely no idea what it meant. She had never seen this girl before in her life; but perhaps she would soon. After all, whoever it was must be important to the future of their pack in some way, or she wouldn't have foreseen it.
The only question was whether this shifter would be their savior or their downfall. Either way, though, she had to tell Rowan. Now. Her friend and alpha always wanted to know as soon as she had any vision; her help predicting future attacks had been invaluable so far, so he was never one to dismiss the vitality of her predictions.
In a way, though, Elaina was a tad relieved by this new vision. Not having one for so long had been a welcome reprieve, but it had also put her on edge, always wondering if things might go from perfectly fine to disastrous in the blink of an eye. It was her biggest fear that there might come a time when she didn't foresee some danger and her pack would suffer because of it. At least now, if there was something bad coming, they could at least try to be prepared. But after everything the Sterling pack had done for her - taking her in and giving her a home when she was most vulnerable - she didn't know what she'd do if something terrible happened that she couldn't prevent.
Elaina quickly finished showering, now eager to get down to the breakfast hall. Normally she would have spent a little more time on her appearance, putting on at minimum a bit of eyeshadow and mascara, and of course blow-drying her hair. It was why she usually woke up earlier than many other pack members; she was a morning person, but she typically enjoyed taking her time to get ready before each day. But today she didn't bother - not when she had such important news to share. Instead, she just hastily dried herself off before throwing on a pair of faded skinny jeans and a loose dark plaid shirt over a simple tank top. Then, slipping on a pair of running shoes, she dashed out the door of her little cabin and raced over to the main hall.
She pulled her shirt tighter around her slender shoulders as cool, September air whipped past her. But before long she was already inside again, hurrying up the stairs into the kitchen.
As she entered the room, the familiar scents of brewing coffee washed over her, along with the smells of citrus and sandalwood, and honeysuckle, that she recognized distinctly as Rowan and Robin before she even saw them. Glancing around confirmed that they were the only two currently awake - which was fortunate, because Elaina guessed that Rowan might not want a rumor about her vision to circulate through the entire pack when they didn't even know what it meant yet. Best not to worry the pack if it wasn't necessary, after all. Although Robin's advice and wisdom would be appreciated, so it would likely be best if the healer was one of the few to be informed, too. And the quiet female could be trusted not to gossip. So the fact that only the two of them were awake so far worked out perfectly.
As usual, of course, Rowan looked effortlessly, unfairly attractive in simple black sweats and a light gray t-shirt, and Elaina found herself hating how he could just roll out of bed and look perfect whereas she was admittedly a mess at the moment, what with her wet, tangled hair and bare face. And she couldn't help but notice that his skin was a little flushed, like he had just been out running, and God no one should be allowed to be that freaking hot. But Elaina tried to force those thoughts aside - she knew she shouldn't be focusing on her stupid, hopeless crush right now.
So, slightly winded from her run in her desperation to find Rowan as soon as possible, Elaina's soft voice came out a bit breathless as she announced to the two, "I just had a vision."

Colby Marce ❝ Never use force, you just embarrass yourself. Unless you're cross, in which case... always use force! ❞ - The Doctor - - - - - - - Colby sprung up and slammed his hand on his alarm clock.
Oh. S***. Ow. Slamming his hand on the alarm clock had hurt because alarm clocks were hard and palms were not. At least, Colby's wasn't. He had no doubt... some people... would probably crush their alarm clock easily. He wished he was one of those people right now.
And why did I think it was a good idea to make it a dog whistle... His ears hurt now, and Sparky (his wolf) probably also hated him. He rubbed at his ears for a bit, looking around the room as he began to wake up. He then rubbed at his eyes, which had dark bags around them. He had heard Rowan going out for a run before he even went to sleep. (Well, he had heard someone, but he smelled Rowan.)
He pulled himself off the bed out of his little room. Mmm, he loved having a cabin to himself. The air was cool, so he walked over and turned up the heat for the morning, tiptoeing quickly over the cold floor. If he didn't have to entertain guests (aka other pack members) occasionally, then he would have covered the whole floor in carpets, literally. However, that would make everything look weird, and he would have to buy a lot of carpets. He didn't have time for that... But what if I ordered them from Amazon? he thought for a moment as he stepped on yet another carpet-less, freezing floor space.
He rushed back to his room and threw on some clothes. He felt like dressing up today-- maybe so people would notice his tired eyes less-- so he actually threw on a new hoodie (instead of the crappy old ones he usually had on.) This one was plain, but said "beware of dog" in the typical "beware of dog" sign fashion. He had found it in a store and bought it ironically. He was pretty sure it was a women's hoodie and that was why he was wearing a size large and the shoulders still didn't quite fit. He threw on some pants as well. They were, unfortunately, just old pants. At least he did bother to brush his hair this morning; after a full quick combs, he pulled it back into a ponytail and then shook his head to loosen said ponytail. Style; his Look was complete.
Colby pulled his phone off the charger and checked his email for a few minutes. It was mostly spam, but it didn't hurt to check. Afterwards, he headed to the main cabin. There was actually little reception out where the pack lived, but he'd installed routers in his own cabin and the main cabin, as well as those who wanted them in their own cabins. Since most of the pack members left were below the age of 30, pretty much everyone wanted them. He couldn't have lived without internet; as much as he just loved nature, he much preferred the comfort of his sheltered cabin. Or any cabin. Was that a bug?
He snarled as he swatted at the bug. It was too early for this... When he finally made it up to the main cabin-- his cabin was actually further towards the gate-- he slipped inside and headed for the kitchen. He could already smell coffee, so he hoped he hadn't missed everyone. The only reason he set an alarm and woke up so early was that so he could eat breakfast with the rest of the pack. Sometimes he even stayed and lounged and waited as late-risers arrived so that he could keep them company.
He smiled as he arrived, observing Rowan, Robin, and Elaina were there. Wordlessly, he took a seat at the table.
