rowan gray hunter
fate whispers to the wolf, "you cannot withstand the storm" and the wolf whispers back, "i am the storm"
Pushing off the cold counter, Rowan shot a thankful glance at Robin, who was trying her hardest to draw her attention away from the scene that was slowly unfolding -- a scene where Elaina was as paled faced as a sick child. Normally, the alpha would have pulled the seer away from the incoming pack members but they had arrived a lot faster than they normally did; what luck.
He lifted his calloused hand up, allowing his fingers to slide around the soft skin of Elaina's forearm. There would be no leaving the kitchen now, it would cause more of a scene than if they discussed matters in a quiet manner. Now, Rowan, also knew that his pack members could easily listen in on the conversations, however majority of them were respectful enough to mind their own business. He was about to speak once again, his voice dropping to a husky whisper but Robin had gently moved herself around the kitchen to be standing next to the two wolves once again. It was not that she was being nosy, she was simply being the typical healer that she was. Worry was written all over her face, and Rowan dipped his head, allowing the simple exchange of a tea cup. Just as soon as she came, she left to busy herself with the other pack members -- Rowan made note to thank her verbally once this situation was over.
Rowan glanced around the kitchen, which was filling up, more of his pack members seating at the table. Ah, he felt horrible for the fact that he did not cook breakfast when he had the chance. However, luckily, Robin was easily distracting them. Just as his sky blue eyes were turning to glance back down at the pale seer, his eyes caught the movement at the entrance of the kitchen. Both Luca and Leo, his beta and his head enforcer, sent him confused looks -- which Rowan simply nodded his head. A simple nod that read I will explain later. And of course he would, they were his second and third in command and they were essential to the protection of the pack, they would know of the vision as soon as he got the story from Elaina -- they would know, when breakfast was over, but until then ... they needed to blend into the pack like they did every morning. He was thankful that they did nothing more than glance at him before situating themselves among the other wolves.
Elaina sipped at her tea, her pupils slowly returning to normal, the wildness fading from them. However, her voice was soft and sweet as she explained the vision of the girl, of the scene that she had seen. There must have been confusion written across his face, because Elaina set down the tea on the closest windowsill, trying to explain more in detail. Rowan was trying to pay attention to the smaller female in front of him, but he was truly confused by what she had seen. A girl? A simple scenery? Okay. However, there was a tiny piece of his logical brain screaming at him -- Elaina hasn't had a vision in over a year, and when she did have them, they predicted misery, something powerful in the pack's wake, but never happiness. She never predicted happiness, not as of yet. Rowan felt his brows knit together as he listened to her soft warning, that she may not know what this female meant but that she would be entering the pack's life ... somehow, but Elaina bowed her head as soon as the alpha asked when. She didn't know. Of course she didn't know. Her vision were not all inclusive with information; they were enough of a scene to warn, to describe the danger and very rarely did she know exactly when. Sometimes, she could tell it was the same day by the clothes the pack were wearing, but other times, it would something as simple as it was a rainy day or who was missing from the pack when the vision had taken place.
Rowan ran his fingers through his tussled dark hair before giving a sympathetic and soft smile towards the seer. "Thank you, Elaina," he murmured, "until we can find more information on this ... this female you described and what she means to the pack's wellbeing, please keep me inform if there's anything else you remember or see."
Moving away from the window that Elaina and him were crowded against, he glanced back at the full kitchen. His lips tugged up at the ends as he noticed who was in kitchen, and how he missed her entrance -- well, he must really have been thinking too hard about the vision. The vision itself did not make a lick of sense, causing not only him discomfort but his now pacing wolf. His wolf had been quiet all morning, not fighting against the surface or even letting himself be known to Rowan. Some days, there was a perfect glance, other days there was a point when his eyes flashed wolf because he was too close to the surface and other days, well Rowan barely felt his wolf. There was no perfect combination, not for a long time. He used to be perfectly in-tuned with his wolf, but his father had broken some part of his wolf's spirit, in a practice duel that turned ugly. However, today, Rowan and his wolf were in sync. They were worried what this female could do the pack, who she was and what her intentions were. Unfortunately for the alpha, he had never seen the female before, so that left a gaping hole of questions for him to answer. However, he would soon enough fill in his Beta and Head Enforcer, and maybe they could track down some leads on who the envisioned female was. Again, he knew that Elaina was never wrong -- at least not as of yet -- so they needed to take this vision seriously, regardless of how little there was to go off of.
Plastering a smirk upon his face, not a trace of what had just filtered through his head. His wolf was still pacing back and forth, but a few calming words from Rowan had the massive wolf settling; still watchful, and still a powerful force behind the human side, but not demanding dominance.
"Yael," he smiled in her direction, "welcome home." His voice was deep, but his welcoming was bare, and true. He was truly glad to see the asian sweetheart home. However, as he took in her looks, his smile slowly lost some of its tug, a frown fighting to replace it. "You look tired, you do not need to make everyone breakfast," he warned, halfheartedly, "they can fend for themselves." He shot the crowded table a light-hearted scowl. However, smelling the warm breakfast that was being made at the moment made even his stomach growl in hunger; there was no denying that the black coffee he had been sipping did not do much for his hunger.
He glanced at the table, his expression no longer 'playful'. "Leo, Luca," his voice more of a grumble than anything more distinguishable. "After breakfast, I would like to speak to you two." His eyes landed on, well, his two best friends. Rowan didn't think he deserved friends, but every time he tried to push people away, it seemed that they clung tighter to him. It was infuriating, especially with the red-head male and the long haired male.
As he was turning to look at the rest of the pack, he noticed that majority of them were now standing, or seating, in the kitchen. Beneath the smell of the fluffy pancakes that were being made in their respected skillet, he could scent each and every pack member. The distinctive smell of just rain which was owned by Luca, his beta; the smell of the ocean, different than the cliffside smell near them, and that was all owned by his head enforcer, Leo; of course, he knew Robin was here with her envelope of honeysuckles and herbs; Elaina was the smell of fresh roses and soft vanilla, her scent still lingered close as her proximity earlier overloaded his senses; Colby's coffee and car exhaust smell was different from the rest, but still subtle enough not to be overwhelming; Ryland's calming scent of pine could be detected through the mess of scents, as well; the smell of old books, quite the welcoming smell, was that of the lovely Yael, who had just returned and her scent was now entwining once again with the pack -- the strange smells she had brought with her from outside of the pack were clearly fading; and the last scent he smelled, was the most recent of them all, and it was of burning maple -- the clear scent of Lachlan, one of his enforcers. The only people, based on scent and not sight, was two of his enforcers. Ollie, well, she was on guard duty and Rowan still smirked at the memory of her moaning when she was picked for the duty. As much as she might have muttered as she left, he knew she would do her duty with no questions asked, her complaining was just for show. Now, he really had no idea where Crawley was, but it was either between playing in his wolf form or sleeping, who knows. He would eventually show up, because well, his enforcer wouldn't miss the time to flirt with who he could while everyone was in the room.
"If you'll excuse me for just a moment," Rowan murmured, although he wasn't sure if anyone actually paid attention to him leaving, especially with food being on its way of being served from the sweetheart of the pack. He slipped out of the kitchen and headed back to his bedroom, he at least wanted to get out of his running clothes and put on something just a little more presentable. Yes, that meant a pair of dark faded jeans that hung from his hips and a plain black t-shirt that hugged his torso. Rowan was not one to try very hard, unless he had to please others outside of his pack and even then, it was quite the stretch to assume that he would dress up.
Glancing at himself in the mirror, his eyes flashed wolf for a moment. His wolf warning Rowan that he was close to the surface, just enough to cause the alpha to frown. He knew that his wolf was anxious, the pacing back and forth was creating quite the rut, but there was not much that could be done to calm him. Rowan did not have the answers that he, or his wolf, wanted. He would need to speak with Luca and Leo ... as soon as breakfast was over. There was no delaying a threat, or what could be a threat to the pack.
Just as he was leaving his room once again, dressed comfortably and out of his sweats, he felt a tug on the pack link. However, this link was not open to the rest of the pack, but just him ... from Olivia. Just as he opened his mind to allowing the thought to enter, he frowned. That's strange, he said to himself.
Responding through the pack link, keep her there, do not let her in. Rowan's voice was not just deep, but authoritative.
He walked back into the kitchen, and without breaking a stride until he was close to the exit, he growled orders. "There's someone at the gate, no one that Ollie recognizes. Luca and Leo, you're with me." He would bring the beta and head enforcer, because it was not only their ranks that were immediately but when threatened, they were his best fighter. He needed them with him, but he also needed to leave his other enforcers with the submissive wolves. He opened the pack link once again, but this one was meant for Crawley. House, now. The alpha ordered, before turning his attention back to Lachlan. However, when Rowan was going to speak, his gaze ended up not stopping on his enforcer, but on the woman behind him. "I would appreciate it if you didn't glare at one of my enforcers. If you have a problem with him, Aurora, you are more than welcome to get the hell out of my house." Rowan was not going to tolerate the hatred between the mother and son, at least not right now. There were more important things to do than family bickering. Turning his attention back to his enforcer, he spoke evenly, and as if he had not just scolded the older woman. "Lachlan, you and Crawley will stay here with the rest of the wolves, just in case this is trap to get us away from the main house." He glanced at the rest of the wolves, other than his enforcers, Robin was a dominant wolf but not a fighter. Colby, Ryland, and Elaina could hold their own, he knew it and believed it, but he would never, never leave them by themselves.
Without wasting another second, he was headed out of the door, knowing that the two dominant wolves would follow him without complaint. Other wolves may not agree with him, but he was alpha, after all. There was a multiple of different cars lined up in front of the cabin, all for use for outside of the pack. He climbed into a four-door, black Jeep Rubicon and waited for Luca and Leo to climb in before he started the vehicle and was driving down the dirt road that lead to the gate. They could have walked, as it was only a mile and half, but it would have taken more time and after the vision, and the warning from Olivia, Rowan wasn't about to waste any time.
They piled out of the jeep as soon as they got to the gate; Rowan the first one to come up beside Ollie, his eyes never moving from the girl in front of him. She had long brown hair and deep hazel eyes -- the same as the description that Elaina given. His wolf growled inside of him, but even Rowan knew better to assume she was the female. So many shifters, so many humans, had brown hair and hazel eyes -- it was too common to be of concern. Until then, they would treat this female shifter the same way they did to any stranger who appeared at their gates.
Rowan didn't need to glance over his shoulders to confirm his Beta and Head Enforcer were behind him and Ollie. He could feel their presence, their dominating vibes radiating off of them -- a sign ... that the pack was standing strong together and would face any threat.
The handsome, dark alpha let out a menacing growl, "so who are you?"

Colby Marce ❝ charm is the ability to insult people without offending them; nerdiness is the reverse ❞ - - - - - - - Unfortunately, he probably wouldn't have minded or noticed if she fell asleep while hugging him. Sometimes welcome-home hugs just had to be really long, you know?
Only, Colby was, yet again, rejected. Well, he didn't exactly blame her. He hadn't exactly showered since... two days ago? That was a generous estimation. However, he couldn't help but pout with the feeling of rejection. The kicked puppy look suited him well, at least. His eyes downcast briefly as his thin lips turned downwards to match. It would only have been more exaggerated if his arms had flung downwards just as his shoulders had done when they sunk. This was all for show; Colby didn't really get all that sad. It was more about making others sad than about how he actually felt. While he did feel rejected, not getting a hug (understandably) once from a very exhausted Yael was not going to break his spirits.
He couldn't stay mad for long, though, because Yael offered to make pancakes. His features brightened almost immediately. He grinned as he spun around to face her again. Darn her and her scooting around things (namely, people... namely, him.) "Pancakes. Yes." Another scent greeted his nose, however, which was veal. He noticed Lachlan and his breakfast, and he almost laughed. If he hadn't been sitting so far away from the rest of the group, Colby probably would have bugged him about eating meat for breakfast. Although they were shifters, Colby was always one for a lighter breakfast. He would leave the heavy breakfasts to the Germans.
He turned from Yael, realizing he didn't want to crowd her, and went to finally (actually) fetch Ryland and himself some cups of coffee. "Oh, Yael, you want coffee?" he asked over his shoulder. He'd forgotten to offer her some. "Or Robin's made tea, if you want some of that," he offered. She probably already knew that; although, he wouldn't put it past even a wolf to miss the scent of herbal tea in the midst of such a jumble of familiar scents.
Colby returned just as Ryland offered to make breakfast for Yael. Hm, he didn't want to bombard her, but he did want to voice his support for Ryland's preposition. After all, Yael looked tired, and pancakes didn't exactly require culinary expertise. "Yeah, let Ryland make breakfast. Go get some rest," he insisted. "You owe me a hug afterwards." He would get that hug...
Oh, deary, their alpha was moving. In fact, he scolded them lightly for being so insistent on Yael. Colby only smiled meekly and took a sip of the coffee to hide the blush of embarrassment crawling onto his cheeks. Although, their alpha did not stay for long, and Colby relaxed just slightly as he left to... do something. Probably change, or maybe go... do alpha things.

crawley fox --
Crawley had never been much of a morning person. He enjoyed sleeping in as late as he could which meant he almost always skipped breakfast. Sometimes he wasn't even awake for lunch with the pack, and sometimes even if he was awake during lunchtime who was to say he was even in the pack's protected territory. It wasn't an odd occurrence for Crawley to have found himself at some random girl's house after a night of fun and games. Typically when that happened he'd drag himself back to the pack with a quick greeting to whoever had guard duty that day. He'd take himself back to his cabin, clean up, and then he would either fall right back to sleep in his own bed or meet up with the pack somewhere. He wasn't a lazy guy, not really, but sleep was something he liked to have a lot of. Especially when he was much more of a night owl. His wolf was also more active at night which made it somewhat hard to get a good rest when it was still early in the night. His wolf liked to pace right at the surface until Crawley would finally go out and do something. When he was out and about he and his wolf were usually well in sync. There had only been a few times in the male's life when he and his wolf were not seeing eye to eye, but usually both him and the beast within enjoyed hounding after females and seeing how far their success got them.
Last night had been quite a fun one for the playboy of the pack. Earlier yesterday he had met a gorgeous woman with the name of ... Wait. What had her name been? Sandra? Lucy? Isabella? Eh, Crawley couldn't remember. Her name had been merely forgotten by the time they were done with one another. The shifter found himself staying over the woman's house for most of the night, leaving about two hours before the break of dawn. He immediately crashed once he got to his cabin. Hell, Crawley had barely been able to make it to his bed. By the time he had gotten back the floor looked just as comfortable as a cloud to him.
'House. Now.'
What kind of dream was this?
Then his wolf let out an urgent yap in the back of Crawley's mind. 'Get up!' It seemed to growl at him, pacing back and forth at the tone of authority in the alpha's mental bark.
A barely conscious Crawley tried rolling out of bed, but he was only successful in falling out of his bed.
"Fuc-," Crawley hissed as the landing jarred him straight awake. His wolf let out a snarl of annoyance at him. 'Damn idiot!' At least his wolf could be serious about some things unlike Crawley. "Stop rushing me," the male snapped at his wolf, only to be answered by yet another snarl. Ugh. He distinctly remembered the sharp voice that had rang out in the back of his mind. Rowan's voice was unmistakable. What did the alpha need at...what time was it? Six in the morning or something? Crawley didn't even want to check the time, he was too scared to see just how early it really was.
Now awake the dark-haired male quickly freshened up to make himself presentable. Rowan needed him, and while he was flawed in just about everything, his loyalty to the alpha was not flawed in any way.
Sure that he was presentable to the world, Crawley exited his cabin and made a beeline to the main cabin. He wasted no time in getting there, his wolf whining in anticipating as he sped over. Just as he arrived he noticed a group of pack members following Rowan out and heading toward one of the jeeps the pack used. Somebody's at the gate, he told himself as if it was obvious. Maybe it was his wolf's uncanny knowledge of what was going on in the territory that told Crawley that. While he would have loved to have jumped on in and joined the other three males, he knew where he was needed. Rowan ordered him to be at the house, so Crawley was going to be at the house.
Without wasting any more time, the red wolf shifter stepped into the alpha's cabin, flashing a sharp and charming smile as he did so. "Crawley's here to keep you all safe. No need to thank me, you're welcome," he chimed, snickering silently to himself as he then gazed at who all was in the cabin already. A nice assortment of people, but his eyes especially landed on Elaina, Robin, and Yael.
robin ashwood --
As soon as Elaina took the tea Robin had just made, the healer smiled and stepped back. She knew her job here was done for right now, and if anybody else needed anything such as tea, there was more waiting. The healer herself was going to make herself a cup in a few moments' time. But right now something else grabbed her attention. Rowan seemed to shift into a current of more urgency. Something was up. The wolf inside Robin flattened its ears, growling ever so faintly. It seemed to know that something big was about to go down. Was this a part of Elaina's vision? If so then this wouldn't be good.
As much as she wanted to worry, Robin knew it would be worse for everybody still in the cabin if she did that. She needed to keep nerves calm and the energy low. High energy was welcomed, of course it was, but right now Robin felt like everything needed to be subtle. The pack needed to save its energy should Rowan call for all of them to be together. And with Yael having just recently returned and looking bone tired, somebody needed to allow her the chance to at least lay down and close her eyes for a second. And speaking of Yael returning...
Robin smiled warmly to the other female. "Welcome home, Yael. Get some rest. Lie down for a bit, alright?" As she spoke her soft words she grabbed a cup and poured some tea into the container. She stepped over to Yael and handed it to her. "Drink some of this. It'll help you calm down and better ignore everybody's yakking," the healer joked with an amused smile slipped over her lips. It was nice to have Yael back home, it really was. Harmony during meal times would certainly be restored now. That was most certainly one of the many perks of having Yael back home - though the biggest perk of all was just having her back.
Before Robin could do much more of anything, the all too familiar scent of cedar washed over her. She huffed. Crawley. If he tried flirting with her one more time...
"Keep your hands to yourself, Crawley," Robin quickly breathed out as she glanced at the playboy. "We need to be calm right now." Before the male could shoot back any sort of retort, he was stopped by a sharp look from the healer. The young female wasn't much of a fighter, but her dominance could not be easily forgotten even against another wolf with dominance such as Crawley.

yael sung Yael was running on fumes and willpower. Her wolf was just as tired and was not shy about reminding Yael of her sisters. Maybe I should have stayed in the car. I could be sleeping right now. Sleeping and cramped, ignoring the screaming of her aching muscles. No, she’d been right to race her brothers home, even if it had only worn her down to a zombie. It was better than remaining cooped up, sitting on pins and needles while her dad hovered over a smoking radiator and her mom stretched her legs. If nothing else, she was glad to be home, surrounded by her pack. She waved Ryland off, stifling a yawn, “Nah, I’m good. I just need…” She blinked. What had she been saying? Oh, right! Ryland! “No, I’m fine. I got this.” At last, Rowan acknowledged Yael. Sparks danced across her eyes, a ray of light rippling over waves. It was the kind of admiration reserved solely for her alpha. Not that she wasn’t fond of her other packmates, but Rowan was a special case. She wondered━ albeit briefly before her wolf began snarling heresy ━if anyone had felt this same kind of pure fondness for the previous alpha. For Rowan’s father. “Fend for themselves. Please, you people can’t tell a butter knife from a butcher knife.” Even so, Yael quietly obeyed and relinquished her place at the stove. She offered Colby a weak smile at his demand for a hug, the burn in her eyes only growing more demanding. “Maybe another time, Colby. No offense, but I’m not hugging you until my motion sickness has had a chance to calm down.” The last thing she wanted was vomit on someone because Colby smelled like a travel nightmare. Yael stiffened at Rowan’s growl. Someone’s at the gate. So he didn’t know the stranger. The itch returned, stronger now. Insistent. Burning curiosity flared firework-bright in Yael’s chest. Curiosity mingled with fear mingled with urgency. Who was it that her brother had seen? Who had they unwittingly raced past? The burn didn’t dwindle when Rowan left, Luca and Leo in tow, his right and left hand. Crawley’s appearance didn’t help to douse the growing interest, only served to snap Yael from her groggy reverie. “I’m so glad you’re here, Crawley. I can sleep easy now knowing you’ll keep me safe from… Aggressors,” the remark was teasing, playful. Yael wasn’t wont for sarcasm━ she was keenly aware of the fact that she was the only one in the room that wouldn’t last two seconds in a real fight, so Crawley’s presence actually necessary if something were to happen. That didn’t excuse her from a bit of teasing, however. She accepted Robin’s cup of tea without much protest and took a seat at the table. She sipped the tea in silence, blowing occasionally and relishing in the sight of the steam drifting away from her. Her exhaustion lifted, dew evaporating with the onset of morning. But not because of the tea. The burn was a fanned flame, growing in hunger and intensity. She wanted to know who was at the gate. No, she needed to know. Swallowing, she set the steaming cup down and rose from her seat, “Um, if it’s okay with everyone, I think I’ll go take a nap in… Rowan’s… Bed?” Was that weird? More importantly, did Rowan’s bedroom have a window? This didn't count as defying her alpha, Yael was sure. After all, he hadn't given them any direct orders to stay put, had he?

ryland seymour doss❝ when the world gets too heavy put it on my back, i'll be your levy ❞ ♡ He frowned as Yael tried to wave him off. She could barely keep herself pulled together to tell him that she was alright. Hmm. Ryland was also humored that Colby had taken his side, although he couldn't help but chuckle at his relentlessness at getting Yael to hug him. He was also aware of the arrival Crawley, but he didn't say anything about it.
Ryland's attention switched to Rowan, whom had seemed to finish whatever was going on between him and Elaina and had started talking to Yael. "See? Even Rowan thinks so," He murmured. He watched as the alpha spoke to the beta and head enforcer, and then watched him walk out. He did, however, feel a bit guilty for swarming her along with the others.
Ryland was pleased when Yael finally stepped away from the stove and knew that she had made the decision to rest. Well, hopefully. He watched silently as Robin offered her some tea and she accepted, sitting down. His attention shifted once more when Rowan appeared again. Someone was at the gate. He felt a wave of unease settle over him and slightly chilled him nerves. He hoped that it wouldn't be anything serious enough that they all had to fight. He hoped it was just a misunderstanding. But, it usually wasn't.
When Rowan disappeared along with Leo and Luca, Yael was next to disappear, although she was claiming to go get some sleep and Ryland was relieved. "Of course, get some rest." He murmured to Yael. He then turned his brown gaze to Colby again, now equipped with the task of making breakfast.
"Don't worry, I'm sure you can talk her into that hug someday," Ryland said teasing, flashing him an amused smile. "Anyways, do you want to help me with breakfast? Or were you just planning on nominating me and then fleeing the task?" His tone wasn't serious, of course, and he was just messing with male for the most part. Though, he did actually want to know if the other wanted to help.

crawley fox --
A chuckle of amusement came from the just arrived shifter. His blue-hazel eyes danced with amusement as he turned his attention on Yael. He was glad to see her home. He had missed having her around, and not just because that left one less female to flirt with, no, it was because he really did care about the female. Who in the pack didn't care about Yael? There was nothing negative about her that Crawley could come up with on the top of his head, and if he were to sit down and think about it, he'd still come up with nothing. Yael was just perfect.
It was obvious that the sweetheart of the pack was trying to keep herself awake for the sake of, well, the pack. It was that sixth sense of Crawley's - the wolf that noticed it - that told him Yael just needed some rest before she could truly integrate herself back into the pack life. Traveling was bound to make anybody tired. Even still he flashed one of those well known Crawley smiles. "Trust me, I'd keep you safe from anything," he commented with a chuckle to his words. "Nothing would get past me." Yeah right. He was an enforcer, a dominant wolf, but sometimes things did get past him. Like that one time he was chasing after an old stag and hadn't even noticed the quite large tree trunk in the way. Let's just say he had a nice tumble and roll while the stag managed to see a few more days.
An arched eyebrow from the male told of the question that lay upon his tongue. "Rowan's bed, eh? Getting a little cozy with the alpha's things?" He inquired. It was just a tease, that much was obvious. "Making a move before he even can see it. Interesting strategy you got there." Sure, he was teasing Yael about her soft suggestion, but Crawley did know that she needed some rest. Stuck in the cabin until further notice, there really wasn't anywhere else for the young female to get a good rest. Crawley was sure Rowan would be okay with it... Yael getting some rest would be good for not only her, but for the pack itself. Rowan was always looking out for his pack's well-being, so surely he wouldn't mind his bed being used.

Robin supposed she could let Crawley have his fun for now. But she wasn't going to tolerate it much longer, not when she knew for a fact that Yael needed some rest. The rest of the pack could handle themselves while Yael was taking a much needed nap. While the thought if using Rowan's bed for a nap wouldn't have come to her, she didn't see why it would be a bad idea. If Rowan ended up having a problem with it, then he could just come to Robin about it. She'd have a few things to say to the alpha if he wasn't too fond of the idea of Yael being in his own bed. But the healer was sure he wouldn't mind it all that much - his pack mate needed to sleep and with being stuck in his cabin, where else would Yael go?
With that warm smile and tone the healer was well known for, she replied, "Yes. Rowan's bed. If he has anything to say about it, I'll talk with him about it. You need rest and that's what you'll get." If their alpha had a problem with it then she decided right then and there that she'd take the blame for it. Besides, she was sure she could hold her own against Rowan.
Ignoring the cocky remarks coming from Crawley, and ignoring just about the other members of the pack right now, Robin motioned for Yael to follow her along. "I'll see to it that you get up there. You look like you could fall asleep in the floor if given the chance," she laughed, a twinkle sparking in her green eyes. She'd take Yael up to Rowan's bedroom to make sure the other female made it without falling asleep on her own feet. Once she had seen to that she'd come back down to the rest of the pack and do what she could to keep them in line.
