OOC: When you just made a character and are looking up powers for another because this your most active roleplay IC: "Would you rather that or him upset because you're late? Also, what's your name?" Ansley asked. She can be very random at times.

OOC IC: Ansley shrugged. "My life's already weird. Why not add some random guy I meet happens to teleport?" Thinking for a second, she said, "Since you told me, I'll tell you I am a time traveller. One of my abilities." She didn't mention invisibility. That would be stupid, giving away all her abilities.

OOC: Sure IC: Later that day, in a park, Ansley was sitting down. It didn't matter that so far none of the chores were done, because later she could go back in time and just do it then. Procrastinating was really easy when you have time travel at your fingertips.

Tom teleported into the park, holding his bass. He st down at a random bench., his eyes(?) focused on the strings. Hee started playing "Two Birds" by Regina Spektor, singing the lyrics in a harmony of the original as an alto.

OOC IC: Ansley walked over, recognizing him as Tom, the guy she met earlier. "Hi," she said. "The music's not too bad." She had a habit of saying stuff like that just to compliment people without them getting too full of themselves.

"Oh...I never realized." Oakley said, thinking about how it would be like if she could push all her powers inward and towards her core. It would definitely feel strange, especially since she was usually so open with her powers, unless she was around other people. She could heal, which was a pretty external power, and she could communicate and effect nature, also a pretty external power. She had no idea what it felt like to hold all powers inside your body until the last moment. "Do you ever get affected by heat or flames strangely?" She wondered if that was too strong of a question, or too weird. "Uh, I mean, is there any powers out there that kinda...counteract with yours negatively?" Akili shook her head, "not really when it comes to fire anyway, I have a much lower temperature than most people due to my ice abilities so it's harder for the fire to light around me and when it does, I only feel a vague tingling sensation. Although green fire has a weird effect on my abilities, it cancels them and prevents my abilities from working." (sorry this took sooo long Dx) "Green fire?" Oakley tilted her head in confusion, "I don't think I've ever seen green fire...? Is it like normal fire?" The only fire she can ever really recall seeing was orange and red and yellow and on occassion blue, if the temperature was just right. But green fire? Maybe it was after the extent of the blue flashes of fire? She couldn't remember...after all, fire didn't really help with her abilities. It usually just made her uncomfortable, knowing what the flames could do, and she usually retreated away from the flames.

OOC IC: It didn't take long to reach the cafe, and Tabby held the door open. {Hi~ sorry I suddenly found myself busy} "Thank you!" Aella chirped, smiling slightly. She looked around the cafe, a little uncertain of what to do. It was cute, she supposed. She didn't like to think of the idea of having to talk to people. She was relieved to see that not a lot of people were looking in their direction.

(also, i'm going to update on Mikel a bit and add him back into the rp, and I'll also be inserting a new character of mine! ) Mikel had finally made it out of the train station, notably in one piece. He hadn't gotten much more information from the other two people he had found in the station at the time, but he felt maybe it was for the best. After all, he could sense that they had powers too, abilities unlike anyone else, just like he did. And it was safer to not acknowledge the fact than let it out so simply. Though, now, a cold chill in the air made goosebumps rise up his arms and made his hair stand up slightly. It was dark out still, and he could just barely make out the sound of crickets in the suburban area. There wasn't a lot of people out this late, a few couples here and there, some kids walking along the street with their friends, older men that Mikel understood didn't really have any other place to go walked along the street too. But now, he was alone. In his thoughts, he could just barely catch the emotions of those he passed, love and compassion, lust and jealousy, humor and entertainment. He could feel them as they moved towards him, the emotions intertwining with his and causing him to lower his head, not able to look at the passing couples. It wasn't fair, that they got to use their emotions so freely. Couldn't they just shut up? No. No, they couldn't. And right now wasn't the time to be complaining. Mikel continued to move forward, wrapping the jacket around him tighter, the hood on his head covering his golden curly hair. Right now, he just needed to get back home. Taking a train to nowhere seemed like a bad idea now. -- Donovan watched the stars in the sky with a calm expression, green eyes trained on a few different ones that tended to twinkle at random moments. He wondered if the were planets instead of stars, but then decided against it. They didn't look like Saturn or Jupiter, plus he figured it would take a good telescope to see that far. If only he could hear the stars. He was sure, with his abilities, he could somehow reach out and move them, just laying down and letting his fingers trail the stars around him. However, they didn't do that. He didn't have those abilities. He did, however, have very VERY sensitive hearing, and sometimes he could see things from a farther distance than most humans could. But he supposed that wasn't his main mutation. He raised up from his position on the edge of the roof, looking down at the streets below. This building was a tall one, but not the tallest one in their city. This building stood a good two hundred or so feet in the air. He could see some people down below from where he now sat, legs dangling off the edge. They looked smaller, and he couldn't help but laugh. How funny, how small they are. He wondered if they realized that. Adjusting his shoulders just right, he was able to loosen up the dark brown wings that sprawled from his shoulder blades. They extended a good fifteen feet out together. Each was probably stretched out to maybe seven and a half or more feet at his sides. They were dark brown and speckled in white and black. Some of his feathers became darker at the bottom, where they stretched out the most. When he'd first gotten his wings, he was scared. He had been a young boy then, and he had no idea what they were for. However, his parents had been scientists and had apparently knew this was coming up. That he'd receive these magical wings that they somehow concocted together. After he found that out, he started to wonder if maybe his whole existence and creation was just some weird science experiment. Probably was. Now he was twenty three and living high in the sky. Literally. He honestly didn't like to stay in one place for too long, who knew what law enforcers would come along and try to run him away or even force him to their station so they could get a good glimpse at his mutations. He didn't hate them, but he hated how he stood out. He tried to hide them as best as possible when he left to exist in public for a short while, whether getting food or just finding a small shelter to stay in, he tried to squish them against his back and let his backpack cover it. It didn't always help, however. And he'd be damned if he went back to live with that freak again...the one he'd known as his "Father". His father had been the one behind it all. He was cold hearted, cold blooded, and didn't care for no one but himself. His mother had tried to take Donnie away after he found out about his wings, but she eventually...didn't return home one day. It took all Donnie could to not knock his dads teeth down his throat, and instead, left his father's house and never returned. Now, he was living on the streets of the big ol' city, having the freaking time of his life. Yay... With a sigh, Donnie laid back down on his back and looked at the stars again. He liked the stars. They were much better than people, anyway.

"No, it's not normal fire, it's more like the heat that comes from rocks, the earth element, and the gases in the atmosphere in the form of fire." Akili shrugged, tucking her hands into the pockets of her hoodie, "I used to have a friend who had that power." Her sharp icy blue gaze distanced slightly as she reminisiced. Lloyd cracked a lopsided grin at his friend who did not look amused by the whip cream on her face, the result of a prank he had pulled on her. "You look great Kiwi!" He grinned, holding in his laughter. "Sure I do, I look like my powers just had a glitch." Akili deadpanned and walked closer to where he was sprawled comfortably on the couch. Then an idea struck her and she smirked slightly. Lloyd gained a concerned look, "Uh, what're you doing?" "Getting you back for covering my face with whip cream," Akili responded simply before she lunged and knocked him backward, smearing the whipped cream on her hands all over his face and blond hair. A faint smile graced Akili's features.

"Um, um..." Aella panicked for a bit, looking at the menu still. She stammered out her order, cheeks beginning to turn red, and as soon as she was finished, she seemed to try and hide behind Tabby. She felt a whole lot of embarrassment running through her.
