A large, stout bracken-colored tom with dark brown stripes running across his back. He has long legs, which aided him in his struggle with his extra toes, and a long tail. He has black flecks spread throughout his fur and has quite a few scars marring his fur from the many battles he once fought in. His paws are large and white, with little brown flecks dotted all over them. He has dark, leafy-green eyes. Brackenclaw is cranky when apprentices are sent to get rid of his ticks, and likes to give them trouble while they attempt to rid his pelt of the pests. He does this all in good humor, as he wants the apprentices to still respect their elders despite how the elders treat them. He still loves to hunt, due to him taking so much time and effort to teach himself how despite his disability, and often sneaks out of the camp to bring prey back for the other cats; mainly for an apprentice who was especially nice when removing his ticks. He is very kind to warriors and the other cats, especially the kits, as he loves to regale them with stories of himself when he was young. He was fond of (In a brotherly way) his brother, Stempaw, who died from yellowcough. One of the stories is about the time he and Stempaw found a clump of catmint. You can probably guess what happened. Another one is about when he caught his first prey, and another one is about his first battle, and another is how he got his biggest scar. He has five toes on each paw instead of four, which gives him five claws per paw. He was a good hunter when he was an older warrior, as he had time to figure out the easiest ways to move without tripping over his extra toes and learning how to turn without falling. Anyways, his family. You already know about his brother, Stempaw. His mother, Patchwhisker, was... odd. She randomly had bursts of coughing, switched from being kind to rude to annoying to normal in a heartbeat, and once leaped to the bottom of the camp from a nearby tree screaming, "FOR THE TREECUTPLACE!" This resulted in her demise. Some medicine cats now acknowledge "Patchcough" as a thing, even though it isn't. His father, Dirtstripe, is unimportant, besides the fact that he is dead. I have no idea what kind of mother (besides Rainflower) would name their kit Dirtkit, and I'm not sure if I want to know.
