Storm yawned, exposing sharp, white teeth. Jumping outside of the temporary den he had slept in. Looking around and spotting Lightning's tail draping outside of the box she slept in, he rose up on his hind legs and gently nudged the she-cat with his nose. "Coming, sleepy? Remember, we should go back to camp now: our camp-mates might be worried. Plus," Storm looked around, spotting the fresh-kill he had stowed away in his box before he had feel asleep. "We should put this on the pile, and we can also stay hunting a little." He stopped his rant. One, he was out of breathe, two, he wasn't sure if the she-cat had heard anything he had said.

Storm purred - slightly drowsy - and flicked his tail towards a vague direction to the camp. "Come. Let's go - as soon as I'm done," He said, licking a paw and rubbing his face. "Come on, let's go back." He gestured to Lightning as soon as he was done, Let's hope I don't get stuck in a bramble this time. He mumbled in his head.  Setting off quickly, he forgot their fresh-kill in trying to look as strong and prideful as possible in front of Lightning.

((As soon as the cats get back to camp, I'll start doing all my cats again. I'll recap and stuff because I'm too lazy to do it right now XD))

Storm felt a sense of embarrassment as he forgot the prey, but then  Lightning brought it. Thank the Cats that she's here, or else I would be feeling so mouse-brained, probably more then right now. Storm took a deep inhale, smelling Lightning's sweet scent, then the forest-life around them. With a sense of confusion, he inhaled again. Quickly he realized something. Is another cat following us?


Leaf, Fire, and Stalker at the Beginning, Fire and Stalker at the End. Reaping from the last post with all of my cats. Separated by ------. (They're finally back!) 

Leaf felt comforted by the strong, intoxicating scent's of the two adult cats, and feel into to a state of happiness, but also a strange tug in her stomach when she saw the bulky, muscled ginger she-cat's tail twined with her smaller, light gray tabby mate. Both of their eyes - light green and blue - were inquiring. Leaf sighed. "Storm doesn't want to be my mate, he just left with Lightning. Actually, I wonder where they are..." An idea popped into head, and with a flash she was gone, dark tabby pelt blending into the forest outside of the group's camp. Muttering.

Fire purred in amusement, licking a paw and rubbing her face. Stalker watched the spot where Leaf had vanished so quickly, then at the camp entrance with a very dumb-founded expression. "Did that," Stalker paused, confusion written all over his face, "just happen?"

Fire continued to purr at her mate's words. "It appears so..." Fire licked her mate's ear, making him jump and turn around to face her. She gazed deep into his blue eyes, the plethora of colors made her feel comfoted. "Stalker..." she began, her eyes deep with thought, "I have to tell you something..."

Lightning let out a yowl of surprise as she crouched and rolled the cat off of her back. She leaped up and faced her. "What are you talking about!" She hissed, her tail lashing. She was definitely awake now. She never thought Leaf was such a defensive and aggressive cat. She unsheathed her claws and her fur puffed up.

Lightning stoo there for a moment. She didn't know what to do. "I will think about it." She sneered and licked her paw before walking away. She didnt want to fight a cat she had to live with. But what could she do? She limped a little as the shoulder she landed on when Lead pounced felt a little stiff. She sighed as she walked to find the tom again.

Storm was running towards Lightning and Leaf's scent trails. They were harder to find because Leaf had probably used mud or some other "scent-cover-er" to disguise it. When he reached the end of the trail he saw Lightning leave. "Stop it!" He yowled, panting.

Leaf purred at Storm, looking at him with fake innocence shining in her gaze ((Dang it I forgot the color of her eyes!!)). "I was just taking care of a problem, her." Leaf's tail flicked at Lightning. Storm felt his claws unsheathe, and there was a repetitive phrase going around in his head. If something happens to Leaf, you can be with Lightning... Storm thought of it for a while, but then flicked his tail.

"Leaf," He growled, his lips peeled back in a snarl, with large gray body fluffed up to twice his size, making him look huge. "If you don't leave me and Lightning alone..." The tension in the air was too real as the unspoken threat filtered between them. Leaf opened her jaws once, twice, and after a third time - giving Lightning a death stare - fleeing from the scene. Storm sighed, regaining his normal size - which was still pretty big - and giving Lightning a stare. "I'm sorry about Leaf..." He shrugged, his tail flicking. He beckoned Lightning beside him with a flick of his tail. "Lightning..." He began awkwardly....

Why not for something to do, make it so that Leaf actually gets his attention or makes up a lie he believes about Lightning for a while? Just a thought haha))

Sorry for not responding; I went on vacation))

((So Leaf says something like this: "I'm sorry Storm. I am actually a great friend with Lightning. She just told me that she loves somebody else and that I can have you." or something like that?))

Lightning looked down when the thought went through her mind. She panicked and spun around and took off. She couldn't stay there while he said he didn't like her. She liked him so much, she didn't want to think about it. Instead, she headed into the abandoned house beside the camp and went to sit on flat roof. It was far from the ground, but not nearly as far as a lot of the other houses. She laid down and rested her chin on her paws. Her eyes filled with sorrow as she watched the busy town buzz with excitement as the dusk light began to fade and the lights of the town city grew brighter.

"Wait!" Storm called after her anxiously: but it was no use; she was already walking away into the green foliage that surrounded the clearing all three cats - Leaf, Lightning, and himself - had previously all been in. He made a move to go after her, but Leaf was already coming. He bared his sharp teeth; his lips curling into a snarl

"Relax, little kitty." Leaf purred. She start circling around him, powerful muscles that she had gained from going in many hunter's crouch's. "Lightning wanted me to tell you something; she wants you to know that she has always been my friend." Storm opened his mouth to ask a question, but Leaf was already going on. "She didn't want you to know because she knows that you don't like me. She has told me that she didn't want to do anything to do with you."

Storm growled. "How do I know this is truthful?"

"Oh, Storm," Leaf purred, shaking her brown tabby head. "My large Storm. Don't you see? She left you alone while you were doing this 'rendezvous' in the woods. Do you seriously think she actually like you? She was just telling me about you; the only reason she hung out with you was because she was reporting back to me."

Storm began to realize all the signs he had made to her she didn't return. Oh my spirits... He thought with despair. I thought - I thought... With a sense of rejection, he went to the direction Lightning did. Spotting her by the abandoned house he gathered all his courage and forced out "Why?"

Storm felt his voice hitch an octave higher. "You...you lied? You're friends with Leaf? How could you! I trusted you!" Storm felt his heart shatter. With a tiny step back, he fled from the tension that surrounded the scene. 

Storm growled when he heard Lightning running after him. "Are you just going to report back to Leaf?" He asked, keeping his gray back turned; sitting on his haunches. His tail was lashing like crazy. "Make more comments on how well your plan is working on being a fake friend with me?"
